Thank you so much! I was so excited to be able to set up in another store! I’m going this morning to set up in the store. I can’t wait I’m a little little nervous, but excited at the same time! 🥰
Hi Jocelyn, Thanks so much for getting back to me with the grow light information. That was so helpful. I really appreciate it. My light is being delivered today! I also got a timer because I'm so forgetful I know I will need it. Lol
Hi, good morning! Yes, we started all of these succulents from cuttings! yes, we have tried to grow them from seed and we do grow some from seed, but they take so long to be ready so we prefer growing them by cuttings just because from seed it takes so long! Thank you for watching and asking. I really appreciate that! 🥰
What a great opportunity you ended up with! Your succulent planters looked beautiful and I’m sure they will be a big hit! I was wondering if you would answer a couple of questions from this former Michigander that now lives in Arizona. I promise to send some sunshine your way! Do you have to get special licensing or certification to sell succulents and plants at farmer’s market or craft show? Or at this stage it is not required?
Thank you so much for watching, and all your kind comments! my husband is a certified grower, and the Farmers Market manager comes to our house once a year and checks everything and makes sure that we’re growing all of our own stuff and walks around everything with us! We have never had the craft show manager come or check anything but yes for the Farmers Market the manager does come and take a look at everything. I hope that helps a little bit.
Say, another question…. What grow lights do you use? Also how long do you leave the lights on? And…. Do you need to keep them warm? What is the temperature you have them in? You are the best!!
We use lights that we got off of amazon, they were about $60 each and have 2 settings bloom and foliage and we just keep them on foliage. We keep them on a timer that is set for 12 hours on and 12 hours off. I think the basement room is about 65 degrees in there but with the lights on it’s probably a little warmer. I hope this helps a little bit. Thank you for asking about them and watching too!! I really appreciate it!!! 🥰💕🥰
We just use regular potting soil for the succulents it’s already premade we just get a big compressed bale from family Farm and home! But I think the cactus succulent potting soil mix works really good too. I just personally never tried it yet! Thank you for watching and asking! 🥰

Good morning, happy Sunday! Say question…. Did you start these succulents as cuttings? And …. Have you ever tried growing them from seeds. 😊

Exactly the information I was hoping for!! You are the best!
Do you mix your own succulent soil by yourself, or do you buy a ready-made soil mix for succulents? Thanks in advance 🥰
We just use regular potting soil for the succulents it’s already premade we just get a big compressed bale from family Farm and home! But I think the cactus succulent potting soil mix works really good too. I just personally never tried it yet! Thank you for watching and asking! 🥰
Jocelyn,do you grow your succulents from seed? I know you propagate them by cuttings but didn’t know if you grow them from seed? Thanks!!
We grow them from seed when we open the greenhouse but in the winter we just take cuttings in the basement! Thank you for asking about that! 🥰
