The Watchtower god is unable to silence EXJW dissent. It's even the opposite there are more and more EXJW channels in the world every year. Thank you for your excellent informative work. The passage of time is on our side, unlike the Watchtower society which is beginning to find the time very, very, very long.
By them telling people not to read or interpret the bible on their own is like going back to the Middle Ages, where people were beaten or even killed by trying to read or translate the bible and give it to others without the church's authority. Despite that they even admit that they can't interpret it correctly themselves because of imperfection. Everyone who was truly led by the holy spirit could interpret it despite being imperfect, because God said in the bible for you are not the one who is speaking but he was.
Telling people not to read or interpret the Bible discourages independent thinking. It also lowers their dependency on the organization for information. People who think for themselves figure things out, and that's bad for high-control groups. Look what the WT said in the 1/15/1983 edition: "... there are some who point out that the organization has had to make adjustments before, and so they argue: ‘This shows we have to make up our own mind on what to believe.’ *This is independent thinking. Why is it so dangerous? Such thinking is an evidence of pride…* Really, can we get along without the direction of God’s organization? No, we cannot!” They're essentially labeling independent thinking as sin.
If people want to have independent thinking, they should start a church of their own. That is how the babel of churches came into being. No one will join a non-smoking organization and dictate how it should be run. They will abide by the rules. (1 Corinthians 1:10) Now I urge you, brothers, through the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you should all SPEAK IN AGREEMENT and that there should be NO DIVISIONS AMONG YOU, but that you may be COMPLETELY UNITED in the SAME MIND AND IN THE SAME LINE OF THOUGHT. No independent thinking among God's True Worshipers.
It is well known amongst the teaching fraternity, that the average attention span of todays people is little more than that of a hedgehog, now estimated to be approx.20 minutes. So, to answer statements like. "Show me a scripture where Jesus points to 1914". Ain't gonna happen. IT would take hours to fully explain how various dates and events are arrived at. And very few would listen to a JW trying to explain the whole story involving all the World Powers up to the 1914-19 Era. However, one that does indicate this period, is given to Daniel by the Archangel Gabriel at Daniel chapter 12v1-13. Particularly verses 3 and 4, which points out the only people who are obeying Jesus's ORDER, to " Go therefore and make Disciples of people of all the Nations"........Matt 28v19-20.!. In fact, the whole book of Daniel is so accurate, it has attracted criticisms of being written after many of the prophesied events took place. Others have denied its existence, since disproved as it was found along others in the Dead Sea Scrolls. For those unhappy with Jehovah's Witnesses understandings of prophecy, read 2 Peter 1v20. They adhere to these instructions. For myself, as an aged person, my gut instinct tells me they have the truth and are correctly named. To confirm it yourself, read Acts 15v14 .!.........

@@tongakhan230 Wow -- what an absurd argument. Anyone who loves God SHOULD be concerned when a false and blasphemous cult tries to suck people in. It has nothing to do with easing one's conscience - it's about protecting people from false doctrines. Doesn't the WT do exactly the same thing? Isn't that WHY YOU ARE HERE? Nobody does hypocrisy like the WatchTower.
@@tongakhan230 The debunking of the JW Organisation is not to ease one's conscience, it is to expose the false teachings and doctrines of the Organisation. The worrying factor about JW's is that in their attempt to recruit people into becoming JW's they gaslight people into taking a Bible study which in reality is a Watchtower study. The JW's themselves have been gaslighted by Watchtower into believing falsehoods about many things including the WT teachings on blood transfusions and shunning.
@@tongakhan230The Jehovah's Witnesses contradict JESUS in Mathew 19 : 14 and are nothing to worry about. Original Sin is a false doctrine. Babies are the enemies of GOD is a stupid doctrine. You should be worried about what you are taught.
A little chronology for Mr D C1. And no, I'm not making it up. 1918: “… we confidently expect that 1925 will mark the return of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and the faithful prophets of old, particularly those named by the Apostle in Hebrews 11, to the condition of human perfection.” -- Millions Now Living Will Never Die, p89. 1922: “The date 1925 is even more distinctly indicated by the Scriptures than 1914.” -- Watchtower, Sept 1, 1922, p262 1923: “Our thought is that 1925 is definitely settled by the Scriptures. As to Noah, the Christian now has much more upon which to base his faith than Noah had upon which to base his faith in a coming deluge.” -- Watchtower, Apr 1, 1923, p106 1925: “The year 1925 is here. With great expectation Christians have looked forward to this year. Many have confidently expected that all members of the body of Christ will be changed to heavenly glory during this year. This may be accomplished. It may not be. In his own due time, God will accomplish his purposes concerning his people. Christians should not be so deeply concerned about what may transpire this year…” -- Watchtower, Jan 1, 1925, p3 1925: “It is to be expected that Satan will try to inject into the minds of the consecrated, the thought that 1925 should see an end to the work… ” -- Watchtower, Sept., 1925 1926: “Some anticipated that the work would end in 1925, but the Lord did not state so. The difficulty was that friends inflated their imaginations beyond reason; and that when their imaginations burst asunder, they were inclined to throw away everything.” -- Watchtower, Aug., 1926, p232 1931: “There was a measure of disappointment on the part of Jehovah’s faithful ones on earth concerning the years 1917, 1918, and 1925, which disappointment lasted for a time... And they also learned to quit fixing dates.” -- Vindication, p338 So... 1918: We're confident it's going to happen in 1925. 1922: We're REALLY confident. 1923: It's definitely settled in the scriptures. It's going to happen in 1925. Believe us more than Noah believed God. 1925: It might happen. It might not. (That's called hedging, and we're getting pretty good at it.) Later in 1925: The devil said it was going to happen, not us. 1926: Who said it was going to happen? If you imagined that, it's your own fault. 1931: Yeah, we gotta stop sayin' crazy stuff like that. It kinda makes us look stupid. But wait... 1942! 1975!
@@richbaker7187 I think most witnesses are unaware of the WT's history of failed prophesy. Look how often they get rid of old publications. It shouldn't be called free home Bible study but WT literature home study. Everyone knows that JWs study their own interpreted literature not the Bible.
The term "Bible study" has two meanings to them, depending on the audience. If they're talking to: YOU --- it is, as you have correctly pointed out, a study of their magazines, a book, or whatever. The Bible will not the primary focus. EACH OTHER -- they're talking about YOU, as in "How many Bible studies do you have, brother?" "I have two now, and a third who is interested." They're talking about people they are actively talking to in an effort to get them into meetings.

How would everyone know such a thing and yet people go through hell, so to speak, to study and qualify to become one of JWs? Why is the world scared of JWs? This video being an example. Why not refute their teaching using the Bible, if as one says, they do not have Bible based teachings. People can't because Truth cannot be refuted. Jesus told the Jews of his day. (John 8:40) But now you are seeking to kill me, A MAN who has told you the truth that I HEARD FROM GOD. Jesus promised his True Disciples that they would face the same threats. (Matthew 24:9) “Then people will hand you over to tribulation and will kill you, and you will be hated by all the nations on account of my name.
@@tongakhan230 I don't think any Christian is afraid, because we have on the whole armour of GOD (Ephesians 6 : 11 through 18). I was never a JWs and my only experience with their church was agreeing to do Bible Studies with them in college. This lasted several months and ended when I graduated and moved back home. These were very awkward so called Bible Studies because the JWs never answered any of my critical thinking questions...not even ONE! They often tried to rush through lessons knowing a critical question 🙋 would come up. I would ask a question and then total silence! After the silence they would often say, "You know due to limited time let's not get off course or we'll do research and address that for next week studies" What they could not get was that I sincerely wanted to understand their teachings but more importantly wanted clarification and irrefutable proof directly from the Bible which ironically one was never opened. It was all digital literature from an iPad with click this verse here. I realized that I was receiving a lot of answers that couldn't be questioned and had a lot of questions they wouldn't answer. In conclusion I could never join a group or church were I could not question their teachings for further clarification or understanding. It's literally a form of mind control at that point.
Sounds bogus to the core. JWs are hated because they can answer any Bible based question. Why are the churches in a babel of conflict. Because they have no clue as to what the Bible actually teaches.

Why not take a Bible and read the prophecy at Micah 4:1-5. It is about the RESTORATION OF TRUE WORSHIP in these last days. Why RESTORATION. Because the church systems corrupted it. That is why we have a babel of churches each teaching what they believe. (Acts 20:30) and from among you yourselves men will rise and SPEAK TWISTED THINGS to draw away the disciples after themselves. Jesus promised to restore his TRUE CONGREGATION before the end comes. Acts 20:28 Pay attention to yourselves and to all the flock, among which THE HOLY SPIRIT HAS APPOINTED YOU OVERSEERS, to shepherd the congregation of God, which he purchased with the blood of his own Son. The Master did not appoint them after he returned, but inspected them and if they were faithful slaves, he appointed them over more. The crooked and twisted watchtower society even here picks and chooses what part they have changed to prophecy and what parts remain allegory. Keep in mind please that the watchtower society has falsely prophesied about the end times for over 130 years. Now please do read Deuteronomy 18:20-22. Verse 22 says "when a prophet speaks in the name of the LORD, if the thing does not happen or come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD has not spoken; the prophet has spoken it presumptuously; you shall not be afraid of him." The watchtower society is guilty as charged by the Most High God. I'm quite well versed in WT theology. In the two questions asked that you are required to answer with a resounding YES! you dedicate yourself to an organization that is NOT backed by Gods Holy Spirit. They took that part out of the 2nd question. If you apply for Bethel service, you must sign a contract of a vow of poverty. Asking question about your 8 leaders in Warwick NY may just land you in a meeting with the elders because you're not allowed to question those watchtower policies and doctrines.
No, we cannot!”
They're essentially labeling independent thinking as sin.

1918:
“… we confidently expect that 1925 will mark the return of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and the faithful prophets of old, particularly those named by the Apostle in Hebrews 11, to the condition of human perfection.”
-- Millions Now Living Will Never Die, p89.
1922:
“The date 1925 is even more distinctly indicated by the Scriptures than 1914.”
-- Watchtower, Sept 1, 1922, p262
1923:
“Our thought is that 1925 is definitely settled by the Scriptures. As to Noah, the Christian now has much more upon which to base his faith than Noah had upon which to base his faith in a coming deluge.”
-- Watchtower, Apr 1, 1923, p106
1925:
“The year 1925 is here. With great expectation Christians have looked forward to this year. Many have confidently expected that all members of the body of Christ will be changed to heavenly glory during this year. This may be accomplished. It may not be. In his own due time, God will accomplish his purposes concerning his people. Christians should not be so deeply concerned about what may transpire this year…”

1925:
“It is to be expected that Satan will try to inject into the minds of the consecrated, the thought that 1925 should see an end to the work… ”
-- Watchtower, Sept., 1925
1926:
“Some anticipated that the work would end in 1925, but the Lord did not state so. The difficulty was that friends inflated their imaginations beyond reason; and that when their imaginations burst asunder, they were inclined to throw away everything.”
-- Watchtower, Aug., 1926, p232
1931:
“There was a measure of disappointment on the part of Jehovah’s faithful ones on earth concerning the years 1917, 1918, and 1925, which disappointment lasted for a time... And they also learned to quit fixing dates.”

1918: We're confident it's going to happen in 1925.
1922: We're REALLY confident.
1923: It's definitely settled in the scriptures. It's going to happen in 1925. Believe us more than Noah believed God.

After the silence they would often say, "You know due to limited time let's not get off course or we'll do research and address that for next week studies"
What they could not get was that I sincerely wanted to understand their teachings but more importantly wanted clarification and irrefutable proof directly from the Bible which ironically one was never opened.

Why not take a Bible and read the prophecy at Micah 4:1-5. It is about the RESTORATION OF TRUE WORSHIP in these last days.
Why RESTORATION. Because the church systems corrupted it. That is why we have a babel of churches each teaching what they believe.

Nothing.
Acts 20:28 Pay attention to yourselves and to all the flock, among which THE HOLY SPIRIT HAS APPOINTED YOU OVERSEERS, to shepherd the congregation of God, which he purchased with the blood of his own Son.
Jesus didn't need to come down to do this appointing.

On the other hand, if he had merely read the Scripture Studies with their references, and had not read a page of the Bible as such, he would be in the light at the end of two years, because he would have the light of the scriptures.”
--Watchtower, Sept 15, 1910
“Unless we are in touch with this channel of communication that God is using (Governing Body), we will not progress along the road to life, no matter how much Bible reading we do.” -- Watchtower, Dec 1, 1981
"All who want to understand the Bible should appreciate that the greatly diversified wisdom of God can become known only through Jehovah’s channel of communication, the faithful and discrete slave." -- Watchtower, Oct 1, 1994, p8
So, you're right ... The Bible isn't their authority. The GB is. Or at least the GB's interpretation of the Bible is. They actually claim that if you ONLY read Russell's Scripture Studies and don't read a page of the Bible, you'll have the light of the scriptures. What they really mean is "if you only read the Scripture Studies, you will have the light we WANT you to have, and ONLY the light we want you to have."
PROVE THAT the COVID 19 is part of the Bible prophecy. Does the BIBLE show the BIRTH OF JESUS? Just because his DATE OF birth is NOT written in the Bible that doesn't mean Jesus was not real nor was given birth. SO STOP your twisted LIES
and you cannot even answer simple questons, where is your critical THINKING? Is the SON the SAME AS THE FATHER since you are not a Trinitarian. Are you ONENESS?
@@Mr.DC3.1914 The Son is not the Father and the Father is not the Son, yet they are one. John 10: 30-33.
@@spellbound111 Of course the Father and the SON are ONE, and the Bible does not say THEY are ONE GOD. and their being one is described by Jesus so that his disciples will be ONE just LIKE HIM AND THE FATHER ARE ONE. john 17. so are you saying the apostles are ONE GOD too?
Great video! 😁
I happen to believe the earth is flat, stationary and enclosed, with the sun moon and stars moving in a circular motion above us. Certainly don’t believe in the heliocentric model of the universe. Hello centred sounds like sun worship to me 😏👎🏼.
@@benz8421 So the earth is a stationary disk enclosed within a dome, and the sun, moon and stars move in a circular motion above the dome?
Basically, yeah. If one were to read Genesis without the heliocentric brainwashing, and then Psalms 19 describing the sun moving on a circuit, and the times the Bible says the earth is fixed and immovable, and of course the sun being told to stop moving in Joshua, what other assumption would you glean? NASA and Hollywood space propaganda has certainly influenced our minds over the past 100 years, but still, the moon landing was clearly fake, and it just so happens the ones who have been into “outer space” happen to be part of secret societies under the Freemason umbrella.
@@benz8421 So if the earth is a flat disc covered by a dome the circumference of the disk where it is in contact with the dome would be evidence of the truth of your belief. People would not be able to travel further than the edge of the disk and also they'd feel where the dome begins to rise up from the circumference of the disk.
On the flat earth map, (check out the Gleasons map from the 1800s) the South Pole/Antarctica is a big ice wall around everything. It was called the Antarctic circle but they called it a continent. You are not allowed independent travel in and around Antarctica, it’s guarded by the military. But the theory is if you go far enough beyond the ice wall you’ll eventually hit the dome where it meets land. Check out ‘Flat Earth Brothers’ UA-cam channel. He’s a Christian and delves deeply into this fascinating topic.
Excellent
Good video
One thing they always say is no other religion has the unity they got. All over the world they teach the same thing every week. No other organization in the world have their unity
Conformity and unity aren't the same thing.
World mission society,Christadelphians, Englesia ni Cristo, The family international, I can keep going, they are not the only group that has unity. Almost every high control group has it.
@@LightoverDarkMinistry Right? Jim Jones got 900+ people to kill themselves. That takes a heck of a lot of unity, and 0 independent thought.
When I began to fade, however still believed, this is the teaching I held onto. That only witnesses shared the same teaching worldwide
It wasn't until I began to listen to ex-mormon podcasts that I learned their leaders claimed the same thing. That was the beginning of the end for me..
@Thoska Brah And they have the most outlandish underwear.
Do you know that Many are called but few are chosen? Is there a voice coming down from Heaven telling you who are chosen? Do you know that Jesus said, " NO MAN come to me unless the father who sent me draws them, is there a voice coming down from heaven telling you who are drawn to him? If people could just read the Bible and learn by themselves, how come the Ethiopian eunuch said, "How will I know if I don't have someone to teach me?
So would you say that Matthew 10 verse 11 to 15 is referring to you. Or Jehovahs witnesses? Have you ever read Acts 5 v 42, Acts 20 v 20?
Jesus was called the teacher because he taught people who inturn taught others who taught others. He commanded his followers to GO THEREFORE, TEACHING OTHER' TO OBSERVE THE THINGS I TAUGHT YOU, ( MATTHEW 28 v18) So are you saying that all one need to do is go one day a week and listen to someone talking some God things, and some Jesus things and with that you're going to Heaven? I wonder why the disciples didn't know that.? They went preaching, getting beat up and thrown in jail and flogged some even got beheaded when they could have just gone one day a week and listen to Jesus talking? WOW!. YOU GUYS ARE SO IGNORANT! And you are expressing your personal opinion as if it is the gospel. So all those thousands of churches world wide giving out tracts and Bible base literature are wrong according to you.

So when Jesus said WHO REALLY IS (PRESENT) THE FAITHFUL Steward, LUKE 12 - THAT IS PRESENT TENSE, so that happened in the FIRST CENTURY and then Jesus said Whom his MASTER WILL APPOINT (this happened first in the FIRST CENTURY) so that proves that the FAITHFUL steward was already existing in Luke 12, when Jesus was talking to Peter and NOT in the Coming of the Lord. tHE MASTER AND SLAVEs are TRUE and NOT FICTITIOUS/FAKE. @@miscalotastuff733 Well, Greek context, and employee or servant could be considered a “slave” also in that time most people put themselves into that position to pay off debt or out of survival. Uhuh. So is the WT incorrect or are you? Because you’re both not on the same page.
