Not finding any humor in this movie. Many of the old school silent gags just do not make the grade, or at least here they missed the mark. Poor ole Buster laid an egg on this adventure. I seen Buster in that time travel "Twilight Zone" episode and it was very good, silent gags included. Still a fan but prefer him in the silents.
Buster Keaton doing his own films was a master. Buster Keaton working for other people was a travesty.
It's laugh-out-loud funny!
Nobody does anything better than Buster!
The Three Stooges ran this sketch in several episodes, two of them in the 30's before this short.
I love the part when Buster gets a "lift." Hilarious
In addition to everything else, he was a great acrobat. June, 2023.
There is a Three Stooges Short that borrows from the scene where the doctor is trying to examine Buster Keaton 😂
You mean this one.... ua-cam.com/video/gHtdnBDypNw/v-deo.html&t=932
That Elsie Ames is a character! My kind of gal. I wonder what she was like in real life.

Buster was employed to invent gags for others and he probably invented this gag for someone else
That doesn't mean it isn't his and it's very funny!
