I just wish he'd gotten the time to say it with the deference it deserves instead of having to yell it over the music trying to get him off the stage... He deserved more time to speak! His speech at the Golden Joysticks was so emotional
One of my favorite quotes of the whole game that really struck me as another survivor. So thankful for Neil and Larian that is the gift of Astarion and BG3 as a whole.
I knew he already won when i heard him say, "In a thousand years, when I've all but forgotten how to love yet again, you will flit back into my heart and I'll weep wondering what happened to my mad love."
This man cannot be praised enough for how well he played Astarion, he IS Astarion and I don’t believe anyone else could’ve pulled off that character the way he did… the most deserved of all nominees.
And yet people on tiktok and youtube are raging over the fact that Ben lost... like really? They are good friends. I doubt it's even a problem and Ben is super supportive.
To be honest, all the voice actors were amazing, so it would be fair and deserved for any of them to get an award... the problem is it would be a crime for Neil NOT to win it. His work was impeccable.
neil really deserved this award, astarion is such a good character and his voice acting really brings him to life, i don’t think anyone else could’ve done astarion better. it’s a huge talent to read lines from a script and put so much emotion and depth into the performance, he feels like a real person ❤
also, the way astarion is written really hits as someone who struggles with boundaries. him learning how to say no and standing up for himself is inspiring, and makes me want to try too
to be honest i was hoping Ben Starr would win his role as Clive in FF XVI was my favourite voice acting this year. But my second choice was Neil so at least one of them won. Also Ben Starr did won an award for his voice acting in a different awards show
Even up against the other talented nominees, no one deserved this more. Both you and Astarion mean so much to so many people. You brought him to life in such a real, profound way and you deserve everything and more. I hope you are as proud of yourself as all of us are of you. Congrats!
Tbvh as far as performances go I think Ben should've won, he had the bigger character that demanded a wider emotional range. He was in a different ballpark voicing Clive at different stages of life from 15 to 30. Not that Neil wasn't incredible (and factoring in mocap would be unfair), but I think this win had a lot to do with Astarion and BG3's popularity. Compare the climactic Cazador scene to any of the emotional moments in FF16 (with Cid, Anabella, Joshua)...
@@mako3197 And he had to voice a vampire that was broken going through different stages and he could become good or evil both of which change his personality immensely not the mention the thousands upon thousands of dialogue and options baldurs gate actors have had to produce. Game deserves it. FF16 was mid and Yuri can suck it with his no range having ass.
@@TeaTimeTable Massive disagree, it's not about FF16 as a game (that argument is reserved for GOTY). BG3 is also my GOTY but this is about performance in this ONE instance. I'm not saying who is the better VA - in fact, Neil has more experience and a wider range as a VA but if you want to talk about character depth, Ben Starr voiced Clive as the singular protagonist from a teenager to his 30s, losing his brother twice, confronting his past, finding love in his closest friend and so on. The crux of Astarion's arc is the confrontation with Cazador. Compare that to ANY of the pivotal moments in FF16. Astarion has the most lines as a companion character, in which case I'd have less of an issue had Amelia Tyler, the narrator, been nominated and won instead. Also as much of a fantastic VA I think Yuri is he didn't have this one in the bag for a long shot. But ofc this is my opinion, just replying for food for thought but let's agree to disagree.
Watching Astarion cry as he killed Cazador got me emotional too. Just that painful relief of knowing someone who subjected you to years of pain and abuse was heartbreaking to witness.
“You’re not alone in this, none of us are” That line has encapsulated my life currently in more ways than one. Neil congratulations on receiving this incredible honour. Your performance of Astarion was incredible and has given me courage and strength to find my footing in acting and music again. Sorry if my constant comments are a bit much but this game and the character have saved my life in different ways this year. Congrats to you and to Larian on your accolades which are well deserved ❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Neil, you and everyone at Larian helped pull me out of the worst year of my life. I have found a community in this game that I don't think I would have otherwise. The friends I've made through BG3 are people whom I will carry forever. You are so deserving of the accolades you've received. Many many thanks to you, Stephen, and everyone who had a hand in this. I love you all so so much.
Astarion is equal parts incredible writing and stellar voice acting. I am so SO happy to see you win this award. Such incredibly talented nominees but it was so clear to see you put everything you had into every line and your win was beyond well-deserved. Thank you for every moment of your hard work bringing Astarion to life for so many of us. ❤
I wasn’t expecting to get emotional but my god, the raw joy he exudes. I am one of those who feels isolated and alone often, and Baldur’s Gate III gave me a place to express myself and press forward to be the best me I can be. Thank you Larian, and thank you Neil for seeing me ❤
The way I screamed at the top of my lungs and jumped with joy when they said his name. WE ARE ALL SO PROUD OF YOU AND WE LOVE YOU SO MUCH❤ Astarion means the world to us all ❤❤
Particularly easy to relate to because of what a twat Cazador is even in the brief time you meet him. Arrogant to the end. The only shame is that you can't help Astarion be free of his curse by ascending without turning him into the same monster he was abused by. He's forced to hide from the sun once again after the parasites are gone.
I'm a storyteller that hasn't even close to made it yet... But people like Neil make me want to keep telling stories. Forever. Even if only a few are listening. I mean it; until I'm dead haha. How can you not when art made with love creates moments like this? The passion of an artist is a glimpse into the whatever lies beyond this world, and it's just so heart-warming to witness when passionate people like this wonderful man get recognized for their efforts. Never stop telling us stories, Neil.
If even one person loves what you do, it's worth it. Persistence is the key to success in the industry. Larian released a lot of subpar titles, but they slowly built up a loyal fanbase because no matter what, their games were always made by passionate developers. I won't say that I love their previous games. Prior to Divinity Original Sin 2 they had some... rather messy games. The Divinity series is a mess of bad mechanics, unbalanced gameplay and inconsistent writing, but even the so-called worst of their games have fans.
I literally clapped in my living room watching this live. I've never seen a more deserving winner of any award. Astarion means so much to me and you brought him to life. Congratulations!
Can we take a minute to appreciate how humble Neil is? The first thing he does after after winning is to thank every other nominees, than all the people that he worked with and made this possible... not for himself but for how it had an impact on the fans and supported people through dark times. I'm glad to be part of the human race if Neil is in it.
Neil, words cannot describe how much you deserved this award, congratulations, I am so happy and proud to see that moment. You deserve everything! Your speech made me cry (again)! I am so so thankful to be in this community. Take care x
Dear Neil, I finally got my Medusa tattoo because of you and your work with Astarion. Words cannot describe how much you have changed my life. I quit my job and started writing again, hopefully one day I can write for video games: your character inspired me. You and Astarion came into my life and uprooted everything. Your voice acting reached through the screen and held me, made me feel less alone. Astarion’s story comforted me during quiet nights when the darkness almost claimed me. And you, you helped me find the writer inside of me again, the artist who had always craved to create. And I attribute these changes in my life to you, your work, your art. Know that you have created and inspired another artist in this world. Maybe, someday, one day, I’ll write a character like Astarion too - one who reaches beyond a screen and inspires someone else to change their life and create. All my love and well wishes. You deserve every award, and so much more. Thank you. With admiration, Harley
Astarion found so many of us going through hardships this year and helped us to never give up! Congratulations for the well deserved award! We love you!
Congratulations! I literally bought Baldur's Gate 3 because of a clip on UA-cam of Astarion yelling at the player for dropping a building on him, titled something like 'this is why voice actors deserve all the pay.' And it's true! I had no idea who this angry elf man was or what he was shouting about, and didn't know anything about Baldurs' Gate, but after seeing that scene I just HAD to find out - and I am so glad I did! Everyone did a fantastic job on this game, but your performance is top tier and deserves recognition. Well done! I hope to see more of your work.
The most worthy winner in the history of all awards ever. Could not have gone to a more hard-working and talented person with such passion for what they do. Congratulations you legend, and thanks so much for everything you've given to the game and the community 🥳💖
Aside from the writing being too good to be believed, it's the range, the depth of feeling, the complexity in your portrayal ... you deserve this many times over!
I cried from how incredibly proud of you and the studio I am. It's wonderful to see you being recognized for all your hard work and passion. Your speech was heart-felt and will touch heart and souls. You thanked us for seeing everything but we want to thank you for seeing us. I have said it before and I will say it again, you are a wonderful and wholesome human who deserves all the goodness in the world. I am so happy for you and proud of you!
It's a pity that you were given so little time. It's a pleasure to LISTEN to you. You deserve this and MORE. Greetings from the huge Russian fandom! We love you very much!🥰
blame christopher judge for blatantly abusing the leeway they always gave everyone up until this year and ruining it for everyone because he's such a primadonna. but i agree, they overcorrected for sure - they barely gave them a minute.
@@defaultname7685 No no, this one isn't on him this time. *every awardd winner, including GOTY* had a 30 second timer in the stands. Then would say "please wrap it up" where then you would be escorted away
@koalafiedmistake5507 that video of "please wrap it up" as they are remincing about the lost friends and family is chilling. And Neil being ushered off stage and being drowned out by some shitty corporate music as he says words so deeply moving that they instantly made me tear up boils my blood. Those words, a quote yes but only a testament to how well written a survivor astarion is, moved me so deeply in this context, yet I had to read them off of fucking youtube comments because I couldn't even hear him. Disgusting behaviour
@@eveoftheroses3766 Its fucking harrowing, genuienly. The memorable and entertaining aspects *are* the people who work on the games, and are involved with them. Not a celebrity trying to justify their involvement with the community.
Currently watching it!! And have got to say that speech! It truly a testament to how much Neil and Larian have put their all into this game and have helped a whole community of people! Congratulations!!!❤😭🙏 this award was destined for yah!!!
As a survivor for years of heinous abuse, Astarion’s story has done more for my healing than anything else; it has taught me to love *myself* because if others can love Astarion, with all his flaws, with all his insecurities, if *i* can love Astarion, I can love myself. I’ve never felt more seen, more represented, more cared for than I have playing this game and I don’t think it would have meant as much to me were it not for you, Neil. You’ve brought so much talent and heart to the role and I cannot thank you enough. It throws me off that you played my favourite RE: Village character but that’s absolute *sheer* talent. You deserved the win! 🎉🎉🎉
I stayed up all night, hoping and praying you and Larian would receive this award. You deserve it so much. Thank you for your fantastic perfomance as Astarion. Me and a lot of people will never forget it.
Congratulations 🎉🎉🎉 You worked so hard and absolutely deserved this award. You are amazing and have helped so many people with your performance as Astarion. Again congratulations Edited: I just came back after the game awards ended and they also won game of the year. Neil and everyone at Lorian studios deserve this, and I couldn’t be happier. This game is truly amazing and helped me through one of the hardest times in my life and I am so grateful to see it get the recognition it deserves. ❤️
@@mundanephysics521 absolutely, I could not agree more and honestly if I was him I’d be in tears too. To see all that hard work getting recognized is a wonderful thing and it truly was heartbreaking and wonderful to see his reaction. I say heartbreaking because I hate to see him cry at all but I know they’re happy tears so we’re good.
Well deserved. Neil Newbon put so much charisma into Astarion that, frankly, no one else could've ever matched him. An amazin talent, an amazing human being.
I literally screamed and my eyes filled with tears. I can't describe how happy I am for you. Astarion couldn't be Astarion without you Neil. You deserve everything. Thank you for giving us such a reletable and loveable character.
Neil. Darling. As someone starting out as a writer, seeing how hard you’ve fought to be an artist and how far you’ve come has been a monumental source of inspiration for me. You winning tonight feels like a lot of us fellow artists winning a little bit, too. Folks who love telling stories with all the passion we can muster were with you tonight. Not only that, but your performance as Astarion has helped me to keep fighting in more ways than one. As a survivor as well, I can’t thank you enough for your performance and what it’s meant to feel seen in such a way. I’m so glad that you have been recognized for your craft. Huge congratulations to you and everyone at Larian, your work has been unparalleled. All the best to you!! Celebrate yourself today, you deserve all the praise that’s come your way ❤
Congratulations Neil!!! Thank you Larian studios and the amazing writers, directors, and staff bringing this game to life, bringing Astarion and giving the chance for Neil to perform him. You are so deserving this award Neil, for the work and effort in performing and bringing Astarion to life❤ thank you once again for a great performance you’ve gifted us.
Thank you Neil so so very much for all the love and hard work you put into playing Astarion. Thank you for being incredibly brave and giving us SA-Survivors a voice in these events where they'd usually hush you, for letting us be seen. Thank you so much as well for writing such an incredible character, Stephen. I was so very blessed to have shaken your hand and have taken a picture with you and my friends at MCM London. I regret not having the courage to talk to you like the other two did back then because I went all the way to England and used what little money I had to meet you and tell you how much your portrayal of Astarion meant to me yet all I was able to do was to show you my Goostarion shirt... But you came out to ME and asked me what my name was and where I was from. I'll never forget it. Thank you so much Neil. You deserved this. You deserve all the good things coming your way.
Met him at MCM Birmingham, he really is great and it means just as much to him that you're his fan as the other way around, I'm sure he was beaming just as much!
Massive congratulations Neil! We cannot thank you enough for the way you portrayed and brought life to Astarion in such a memorable way. He genuinely holds a special place in our hearts, your performance resonated with a lot of us and truly made us feel seen. I am so glad that all the work you put into this character has been recognised, you more than deserve it.
I woke up at 3:30 am to see the Award. I've never voted for games or movies before the Baldur's Gate 3. I fall in love with this game, it's characters, story... I watched different interviews with actors, and you, Neil, made me obsessed with BG3 (in a good case), because you show the depth of this project. It is an amazing work. And I'm so happy for your win! I feel like all of us (in this community) were there with you and we are so glad and grateful that you have this award! I can't explain how you inspired me, cause my english is weak (sorry for mistakes). But the BG3 is the History now. Thank you! ❤
Same here. I have never voted in any games awards before this year, but voted for neil and larian for all the awards that i could. Baldur's Gate 3 and Astarion have made me feel heard and understood in ways I never knew I need to be. Thank you Neil and thank you Larian!
Me too! I never voted for any kind of game awards until BG3! They really built a wonderful community and brought us so much joy and content to love! They deserved every award they got 💖🏆
I tuned in ~just~ to make sure you won 😊 You poured your heart and soul into Astarion, and we all can feel it. We are so proud of you! Thank you for bringing such an amazing character to life and making us laugh, cry, think, and not feel alone.
He deserved it SO MUCH. Such a beautiful, hardworking soul with infinite talent. Astarion is a greatly written character but Neil is the one who poured his soul into him thus making him wonderful. No one else could have played him like this.
we're all collectively so proud of you Neil, we love you [and Astarion, no doubt], you're so amazing!! this couldn't be much more deserved, congratulations darling! 💗
You deserve this and so much more Darling. You have brought so much happiness and life to one of our favorite characters. we appreciate you and everything you have brought to us, thank you and we are always here for you as well
Neil!! Congratulations from the bottom of my heart for winning this prize!! SOO MUCH DESERVED!❤❤❤ We all love the way you played Astarion and it felt you put all your soul into this character. We are so proud to have actors like you!❤
I cried seeing how emotional the team got over winning. You all deserve this and so much more. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for this unforgettable piece of art 🎉🎉
Thank you so much. I know this will be lost in a sea of comments but I still wanted to say it. I've been going through one of the hardest periods of my life recently and this game has truly been so helpful to me. Astarion is my favorite character and I truly want to thank you and the developers and actors for putting together such a masterpiece. It truly came at the right time for me when I was feeling down and alone. Thank you.
I had to make an account to be able to comment lol. Neil, this was so very deserved. You absolutely nailed bringing Astarion to life and made him such an enjoyable character to play with every. single. campaign. I'll refrain from writing a novel but thank you for your beautiful performance. You are perfect, every time :)
Thank you for taking the time to share your speech! They say actions are louder than words, but some words really fucking matter. And from a survivor to a survivor, “you are not alone” are some big ones. ❤ Congratulations! You deserve it!
Congratulations on winning the best performance award Neil!!!! You deserve it and literally so much more, you are such a talented voice actor and amazing person with such a kind community. You brought to life one of the best characters of all time, and helped so many people with him. Never stop being such an incredible person and congrats again!!
You truly deserved this Neil! Shame they rushed you of the Stage, the Game Awards really should let the Winners take their time, instead of shoveling more ads, i would have loved to hear your speech! You are truly awesome!
That whole bloody cast deserved the award, a shame best performance only could go to one actor, it's amazing they were even able to choose the whole Baldurs gate cast all did a phenomenal job
Congrats! So happy for you. You truly deserve it! I teared up at your speech, because I'm one of those people that BG3, and especially Astarion, has helped. As a SA survivor, it means so much to be able to connect with a character like Astarion. To help him heal, helps me heal. And your performance brought him to life for me and so many others. Thank you so much. Best wishes to you. 💖
Well deserved. It wasn't just game of the year, it was game of the decade, and the performance of the characters was integral to that. I have never in my life grown such an attachment to fictional characters in a videogame.
So well deserved, *darling!* ❤ he truly did an incredible job with Astarion. Not only that, but he's been amazing in everything he's been in! An incredible VA who deserves all the praise! ❤
Neil, thank you so much for your performance and for your steadfast devotion to us oddballs and to anyone who has dealt with trauma and can relate even a little to Astarion. You did phenomenal work and we're all so proud of you
Neil, in the off chance you read this. Absolutely deserved, best performance in any video game I have played in 20+ years. You’ve changed the lives of gamers from your performance and personality.
CONGRATS, NEIL!!! 🎉🎉🎉 I literally started to tear up and cry upon hearing this! Your performance as Astarion is incredibly inspiring and this award is SO well-deserved!! You, the rest of the amazing cast, and everyone at Larian have created such an unforgettable experience with BG3. Much love!! ❤
So incredibly deserved. Voted for Neil and BG3 in all relevant categories, but this and the GOTY award were the ones I hoped they'd win most. Great night across the board for BG3 and a beautiful speech by Neil. Congrats to you all!
Neil--I can't say anything more than what's already been said. You blew me away when I first saw your performance in RE8. You and the entire team of BG3 worked so hard on this game, and every ounce of love and care SHOWS when you play the game. Your story of Astarion was so beautiful and heartbreaking in every possible choice the player could have made. You deserve this! Congrats!!
This game has been without a doubt a life savor for me!! This year has been the worst for me and I have had real dark moments. To laugh, smile and enjoy playing as well as be apart of the chaos crew has set my heart at ease. Truly thank you Neil for being who you are and accepting all of us to be apart of your world in a way. Yall did It!!! We are so proud of you and everyone! Happy holidays and let the chaos commence!! 💖🍾
Thank you for leaving blood, sweat, tears all on the floor for this game, Neil, and for continuing to do the absolute most for the community even after it's release. The story and your acting in it made so many of us feel seen and represented. Your work is a gift; we believe no one will forget it. ❤
I absolutely adore Baldur’s Gate 3, and I’m very thankful that I am able to play it! Every character is so unique and incredibly expressive and the way they are emulated by all these spectacular voice actors! Neil Newbon is a testament to this and deserves this wholeheartedly and the other cast members I feel are incredibly proud of you, so congratulations! Watching the awards and I’m happy to have been able to see this happen and was cheering for you!
SO incredibly deserving 🙌 I was THRILLED to see it. An amazing performance but a wonderful person. Thank you Neil for sharing your passion for stories with us and CONGRATULATIONS 💛💛💛
Even if it sounds like a broken record, yes bg3, Larian and you deserves all the awards. Thank you for given us so much passion and fun. You not only bring Astarion to live with your amazing performance. You are also the one who create this community. Without you and the mods it wouldn't be so wonderful crazy, openhearted, careful and simply lovely. It's the first community I'm part of and maybe would be the only one, because there is no place for hate and disrespect here. And that's really rare in these days. Thank you for being you. ❤
Baldur's Gate is a game that has changed a lot of people's perspectives. Both of themselves and of the world around them. It's working proof that videogames can be much more than just something to do when you're bored. They can be tools for inspiration, introspection, and even grieving. Congratulations for the wins tonight! You and the rest of the team at Larian have a lot to be proud of. Thank you for being a part of this! ♥
Started playing bg3 in January, now I'm playing my 3rd play-through as Durge Took me 3 months to realize what Neil quoted to when he said You are not alone in this None of us are and there I was, before today thinking it was just a heartwarming statement Today I love it even more and moved by it, full-powered heartwarmed now ㅠ___ㅠ
Words can't describe how thankful I am for Baldur's Gate 3, the whole team and the wonderful actresses and actors. Thank you, very much and congratulations for the deserved award(s). This game just brings me happiness.
Congratz Mr. Newbon. Not only you also all your fellow voice actors, everyone in Larian Studios deserve an award for amazing job you brought to us. You deserve every praise you are getting. 💕
As if I wasn't already crying and then he had to drop the "You're not alone in this, none of us are." and it was over for me. No fictional character ever meant more to me and we couldn't be luckier that he was portrayed by such a lovely amazing human being ♥
BG3 is a once in a generation game, made possible only by the sense of immersion created by Neil and his fellow actors. On behalf of myself and others like me who will cherish your work for another decade (at least) THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!
Dear Neil, I'm so happy for you. Staying awake just to watch this was so worth it!! This award is so well deserved, big congrats!! Thank you so much for bringing me/us so much joy. I must admit, I teared up when they said your name 😅
I have never in my life followed a game like this… to watch the awards. But this, this was amazing and so deserved. I am so happy for you and proud to be apart of this community you’ve created. Congratulations!!!
yes! im so ecstatic right now! you deserve so many more awards Neil. your speech was very sweet and made me emotional at the end. you are a beautiful person Neil, thank you for changing so many lives with your performance❤️
I was in a deep depression when BG3 came out, it helped distract me to keep going. I'm so grateful to everyone at Larian who unknowingly saved me. Astarion is what made me want to try this type game for the first time and I fell in love with the whole game, it got me into DnD and Magic the Gathering. Thank you to Neil for killing this role and being also an amazing, beautiful person, you deserved this award and I hope you reach further success in the future :)
I understand you, and such things are even difficult to describe in words. It’s just as if you find invisible support in the world, which becomes yours and the friend and love you’ve only dreamed of. I understand you, all the best to you!
Little late but major congrats! As an abuse survivor, Astarion is like looking at a damn mirror sometimes. Easily the character I relate to the most in BG3, not to mention one of the characters I’ve related most to ever. Seeing him heal in game is somewhat like healing my inner child, and the character means so much to me because of that. I feel like so often survivors are demonized for the aspects of trauma that stay with us, all the mechanisms our brains put in place to survive that makes us different. CPTSD, PTSD, anxiety, depression, whatever a person may have. And as such the effects of trauma aren’t often realistically represented (at least in media I’ve consumed). So seeing Astarion loved despite (or even for) some of these aspects has helped me heal things I didn’t realize needed healing. The reward is well deserved, and I have so much appreciation and awe for the team for creating a character that all us abuse survivors identify so heavily with!
I am literally crying so hard. I honestly am so humbled by the existence that is Neil Newbon. Prior to Baldur's Gate, I had the poor luck of not knowing about Neil and his work and am so happy and privileged to now be privy to such a wonderful human being and an extraordinarily talented person. His is ridiculously talented, humble and kind and such a lovely person all round. He's funny, charismatic and so hard working and he deserves this award (and so much more) so very much for his stellar performance in Baldur's Gate. I'm so glad that he's getting the recognition that he deserves and I hope that we can all continue to enjoy his work and he can continue to be such an inspiration for years to come. Thank you Neil for making us feel less alone and seen in a time where it can be so hard to be happy.
So proud of you! This character - and the game itself, to be honest - wouldn’t have been the same without your effort to breathe life into Astarion. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, and congratulations yet again 💚

Astarion is one of the most remarkably well performed characters I’ve seen in a game in a very long time. This award is well beyond deserved. ❤
Not just well performed. Well written too. Great writer behind that character.
cringe game with men with vaginas and women with penises and people ahving sex with animals, aberration of a "game"
Even up against the other talented nominees, no one deserved this more. Both you and Astarion mean so much to so many people. You brought him to life in such a real, profound way and you deserve everything and more. I hope you are as proud of yourself as all of us are of you. Congrats!
As someone who has played most of the games that were nominated I think Yuri did a better voice acting job rest all awards were fine
@@Jonathanainsley69 He's just sasuke.... he put no effort in.
@@mako3197 And he had to voice a vampire that was broken going through different stages and he could become good or evil both of which change his personality immensely
not the mention the thousands upon thousands of dialogue and options baldurs gate actors have had to produce.
This. It was jaw-dropping. Make the game worthy of every penny, every second dedicated to it. Astonishing performance.
it's so insane, why can't they give him the time to say what he wants to say in this special moment? I would have loved to hear more from Neil

WE ARE ALL SO PROUD OF YOU AND WE LOVE YOU SO MUCH❤ Astarion means the world to us all ❤❤
i was clappinng alone in the dark with headphones on in the middle of dark, somewhere in Berlin.
You will have a larger audience soon if your writing is as meaningful and heartfelt as the lines you just wrote here.
So beautifully said. thank you!
I feel the same way, it makes me pick up my pen and get back at drawing :')
@@chrissiesbuchcocktail What an an incredibly kind thing to say. 🥹 Thanks for that. I appreciate you. 🖤

Take care x
Dear Neil,
I finally got my Medusa tattoo because of you and your work with Astarion.
Thank you.
With admiration,
Harley

@koalafiedmistake5507 that video of "please wrap it up" as they are remincing about the lost friends and family is chilling. As a survivor for years of heinous abuse, Astarion’s story has done more for my healing than anything else; it has taught me to love *myself* because if others can love Astarion, with all his flaws, with all his insecurities, if *i* can love Astarion, I can love myself.
This is amazing!!! I’m so happy he definitely deserves it for his performance throughout the whole game!! What an incredible man and person!
So proud of you! This character - and the game itself, to be honest - wouldn’t have been the same without your effort to breathe life into Astarion. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, and congratulations yet again 💚
