ok here we go again so I had a new air shock put on but he didn't do the Suspension Leveling Calibration correct and now both suspension lights are on and it has dropped again but if I restart the car and wait a few min the lights goes out and the suspension goes up . what can cause this ??????? and now I have 24 codes also
i now changed both my struts and compressor:D first only the left one, after 1000kms the right one blew while waiting at the lights few days ago :D after only changing the left one, everything was working fine, no leaks. i changed the right one and it drops down on the right side after a day or two. i tried this method but couldnt see any bubbles from nowhere... what else could it be?
Hi @3dogs1monkey, i have d3 2004, my problem is with back suspension, it's dropped down when i didn't drive car few days. On VCDS air bags work correctly, same pressure on all 4 bags. What is the problem, valve block or something other ?
My 2008 a8L air ride is stuck in the lift position. Fully inflated. Opposite of everyone who's leak and deflate and noone can figure out why including me. Dealer hooked up the computer and can't get it to go up or down.. fault code just says upper limit exceeded intermittent. I think it was code 00114 but not sure. My mmi settings are sometimes greyd out for the ride settings. Either one or two lit or all 4. Air ride warning light , yelllow car with up and down arrow flashes and then stays on solid. Dealer thinks valve block is the issue but aren't sure. Want more money to access and test it. Car is jacked up like a monster truck and rides so stiff I'm ready to park it. Any ideas on what is causing this? Dealer said they have never heard or seen this either. Could be full of S#&T and just want more diagnostic money. Need some help if you have any idea. Would appreciate it. Hoping it's the valve block so my former Audi mechanic buddy and myself can DIY it and save some big money. Dealer wants $700 for the $170 part and $1800 total of it is it. 3dogs1monkey thanks for the fast reply. The dealership ended up confirming exactly what you said. Relief valve in compressor stuck, need to replace the compressor. Ordered one online for $250, didn't want to pay $1600 at the dealer for the part. Lol will replace it as soon as it gets here. Thanks again. Love your videos. I've learned a lot.
Mustafa Solmaz make sure the battery is Good, 12.2v+ with ignition on, you should be able to put to lift, if you put to jack mode, the pump is disabled, only put to jack mode after the lift cycle is done to find which one is leaking
@@3dogs1monkey I even hooked a battery charger on it. But the compressor didn't start pumping. I checked the fuse also. Does it only start when the motor is running or also when motor is off?

Your pump is just pumping if electrical is there - when the ignition is off - the relay 367 should turn off the line to the pump - the pump also turn itself off when it's overheated only if the ignition is on. It's not your pump, it's your system, I think. Ask people in www.audiworld.com/forums/a8-s8-d3-platform-discussion-60/
My front dropped and the back was still up after I parked it for a month the back is now down as well. I also can’t get into the car section on the Mimi to lift it

@@3dogs1monkey I think he might mean what happened to me someone spilled soda on my mm I buttons and I managed it save every button but the godd**m car button everything else works flawless radio telephone it never turns off randomly I can always open or close it. I noticed if your mmi display won't go down you have a problem in the loop somewhere

The hoses are pressure, not vacuum. And, this test doesn't address the very real possibility that the block can leak internally. They can, and do.
The 4E907277 part at 2:39 is the TPMS antenna

Just get rid of the air struts and get the coil over kit

kkdogmom it’s the compressor relief valve stuck, doesn’t release air. Check the valve or replace the pump, should fix it

Hello. My vehicle jack. Mode is gray. And the front air suspensions are down. The compressor doesnt pump either. Any IDEA?

Mustafa Solmaz may be you’re already in Jack mode, get out of the jack mode. The pump doesn’t fail so don’t mess with it.

my pump won't stop running without me unplugging the battery. I changed the solenoid but still the same. I think my pump has burnt up now. smh
Check the relay under the dash
I changed it already. We're gonna change the pump. It has to be a check valve in the pump itself

ok can you help me with this I have a leak in my a8 but the suspension lights are not on inside the car , its just like yours one side lower then the other
cowboyfan dallas if one side is lower and no light inside, I think you should check the valve block to see if it leaks there

cowboyfan dallas that's no news :-) find the problem first. The valve block leaks can be fixed with $.20 rubber rings if you're lucky.

cowboyfan dallas go to audi world forum and ask someone to help you. Quite a few guys in your town. No shop will replace o rings for you.
