I'm a native Japanese but, I could hear "pet" too.
This is glorious, I been tryin to find out about "learning powerful methods to build your Chi energy" for a while now, and I think this has helped. You ever tried - Fellmeroni Rudimentary Chi - (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now ) ? Ive heard some decent things about it and my colleague got amazing success with it.
You can't just listen. I'm finding you have to see the characters.
I’m in love with this language ❤️
Me too
Me taking notes over here like deku XD
The words are all pronounced in dictionary form, which is not quite they way they sound in conversation. The "G" sounds are usually pronounced a little harder, if I were to day "this afternoon" it would be "kyou no gogo, with the second g pronounced more strongly. On the other hand, the months "hachi-gatsu," the "u" sound is often omitted, and sounds like "hachi-gats." My Japanese is not all that great, but after living in Japan for many years, my pronunciation is pretty good.
That's what I remember too.
so what is link to your VID ?
It depends on the dialect. This is the standard pronunciation of Kanto dialect which is what people should learn as a basic, as it is standard Japanese.
2:26 *AOI AOI ANO SORA!!!!* XD
LOL that is what I had in mind when I first learned this word
Just remembered the naruto opening
Narutoooo
Ahahahhahaha me every single time 😂😂😂
I learned the word before I watched Naruto, and when I got to that intro of the series I was like "WAIT I KNOW THAT WORD".... that word and many others but it was amazing for me knowing I can at least know something in their conversations
#36 用意する
it does not mean "cook", it literally means "preparations/to prepare"
食事を用意する to prepare a meal
旅行の用意 traveling preparations
ホテルの部屋を用意する prepare a hotel room
synonyms of 用意 are 準備 junbi and 支度 shitaku
cook(ing) is 料理 ryouri and 調理 chouri is cooking or cookery
魚を料理する cook fish
料理学校 cooking school
魚を調理する cook (and prepare) fish
調理師 a cook
That's helpful thanks for correcting that.
3Q OMG COOKING SCHOOL 😂 😂
I am so confused what do you guys use for speaking harigana or something else??? Please tell me

You guys, reading in characters will help you pronounce things better. Reading in Romaji will only make you put more stress on to a syllable and pronounce it totally wrong. Note that katakana is basically used/written for native words that weren't origanally in the japanese language. Sorry for my spelling mistakes. Also, the colours can be said and types without the i at the end. Near the end, she said year totally different from what was written btw, be careful and good luck learning japanese hahaahahahhdgsgahsbhdb ;)

Thank u so much!!
Wanna study Japanese together ? I'm looking for a buddy to study with 😭
@Stupid Cookie hey give me your IG or something
Bread in japanese is also spanish word for bread how cool lol
Their word for bread they adopted from the Portuguese. Notice it is written in katakana and not kanji.
I was going to say the exact same thing
Also in French it’s very similar it’s “pain”
i'm brazilian and this amazed me when I noticed it, I wish there were more Portuguese loan words ;-;
I'm Japanese. I would like to supplement the color.
blue→aoi(adjective) ao(noun)
black→kuroi(adjective) kuro(noun)
red→akai(adjective) aka(noun)
yellow→kiiroi(adjective) kiiro(noun)
white→shiroi(adjective) shiro(noun)
However, it is not possible to add "i" to all colors. For example, green and purple cannot be called "midorii" or "murasakii".
why? Japanese also don't understand it.
それにしても「エアコン」って、改めて聞くとダサすぎるな
ハイ
Maybe because they already have "i"s at the end. So it's possible to replace them with 色 (iro), meaning a color.
Why does beer (biru) sounds like (hiru)?
JJ Huang because biru is spelled as hiru only with tenten (search tenten on google)
JJ Huang hello I'm japanese and I think it is just a mistake.
TheXavif1 oh right sorry i confused the two
@@tye4283 Thanks, i think there are more mistakes.
@JJ Huang And 午後 [gogo] is pronounced with [gomo]. Strange. パン sounds like [pam]. In some more cases ン [n] is pronounced with [m]. In [kompyuuta] (コンピュータ) this leads to a sound closer to the original, while is sounds wrongly in [eakom] (エアコン ). Maybe only I hear the "m" ...
I rlly like it
awwwthanks i rlly love japan im from the Philippines
although some of these might be wrong, I know that many of them are correct. because one side of my family is fully Japanese, I hear them say many of these words and I even have to learn these words too

Beer sounded like Heels xD
It's actually only 199 words as 話す is in there twice at 19:24 "speak" and 20:48 "talk"

Some of these are pronounced differently than it’s spelt. Which should we be learning? The spelling way or the way it’s pronounced?
The ones written in katakana?

To be honest, the pronunciation of this video is a little different.
I think it should not be used as a reference.

Aoi aoi- (insted aoi bird lyrics here)
Japanese is my favourite language
I have a question. Why are words written in kanji when hiragana and Katakana not only are easier to read, but also takes less time to write out?
Some words are pronounced the same way so kanji helps avoid confusion
