In this week’s continuation of the Summer Series we return to the RTR division to see who will win between Axial’s smt10 and Redcat’s Volcano!

I had a feeling the Volcano would post faster times, but I was shocked at your driving consistency with the SMT10. That rig can't be easy to wheel around the track! Kudos to you for keeping it on all 4! I always look forward to your shootouts. Well done Jeremy!

Awesome run again man!!!!! (where does those commercials come from? Too damn funny LOL) For a stock smt10 that's really good, but imho, only solid axle trucks are MT's (I get it, solid axle (or shafties as some are called) MT's are way too costly and/or hard to get). Plus, we all have to make do with what we have, and this shows how the two compare, IDS is always more plush and solid axles, well, drive like a truck.

I think the redcat has a 19t 550..I used to use that motor in 2wd buggies on 3s lol

Just found your channel. Really good content. Curious as to why you put the SMT10 back to brushed after going brushless. I have this truck as well and really love driving it. I have the 2020 release version so it has all metal gears and better motor/esc. I was considering going brushless but would love to hear your thoughts on the brushless experience. I also have the Volcano EXP Pro the new brushless version blue colour and really love driving that. It is plenty fast on 2S. Really enjoy your videos. Cheers from Canada.

My Smt10 was fun brushless on 2s. On 3s I knew I’d break stuff rather quickly. I returned to stock electronics to try and help a friend diagnose an issue he was having with his smt10.
I still have enough fun with it being brushed that I didn’t change it back!
I had an early version of the Volcano epx pro; it was fun!
