A really great profile video. The GB W4x is fantastic, them and the WLtw2x are my two favourite GB crews at the moment. Wish them all the best for Paris 2024. I will be nervous as hell but will be screaming at the TV nonetheless.
Great story. I bought an rowing erg and got the bug although I'm not fast. The times you pros out in astound me. Good luck at the games, ladies (and gents).
Out of curiosity, Georgie you mentioned finishing uni, so you do that many outings and erg sessions etc next to working? Wonder how you manage that. I’m a rower and had that schedule in uni, but don’t think I’d be able to do it now next to working. Thanks.
@@gregcollins3404 I know. I'm a coxswain as well as a rower. My concern was more that for where I row (on a busy bendy river) 2 seat would have a disrupted view
@@thecleaner94 I read your comment…then I read mine again…then I went back to yours and decided it was pointless to even engage with your contribution. Thanks for your input though!
And now a gold in Paris. Well done ladies, such an exciting finish.

Incredible story, what a wonderful, humble lady - world class team 🎉
A lovely and inspiring story. Best of luck Georgie!
An amazing story of conviction and bravery

This is amazing work
Good luck 👍🇬🇧

Why isn’t the bow seat steering?
Doesn’t really matter racing on a buoyed course, further to the stern is actually usually better
@@TheLiveEleven I row on a river with some difficult bends. This just isn’t usual for me
@@RowingSwiftie25 I can well imagine, less important to turn around on a straight course though 😂
rudder is in the stern of the boat

wow really suprised the 3rd in the boat steers! Sometihng I have never heard about before.
me neither, and i'm a rower!
Indeed, I was surprised to hear that too.
I saw Georgi at school because she is my teachers sister
The common thread for rowers seems to be "Be Rich, Be Tall"
"Be willing to suffer"
Now she's in the A Final in Paris!
Someone let me know when the times does one of these on what it takes to be become an Olympic sprinter…
Runner or sprinter? Because they have a video from 3 weeks ago about runners.

👌👌👌👌😶👍👍👍👏👏
what a traitor that coach is 😛
Be trans. You win
Be filled with hatred. You lose.
These ladies look fit 😉
🤣
Lots of rowing I reckon
