This is such a great Christmas song because it doesn't try to pretend that life is all warm and fuzzy or that people are always kind. It punches us in the gut and reminds us that somehow we manage to find the good in the world and in ourselves on this day and begs the question, why can't we be like this everyday? The band is playing so beautifully and Freddie's voice is perfection. I don't know how I missed this but I am glad it came up on my feed today so I could check out your reaction. Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year to you and those you love.
There is another song which Fred wrote from his flat in Montreux, technically not what would be considered a Christmas song called A Winters Tale, taken from things he saw from his window, I think it was added onto the Made In Heaven Album which came out about 4 years after he'd passed away, it has the sentiment behind the true meaning of Christmas though
This was written by Brian and Roger, released in 1984. Brian had this lyrics video done in 2019. The first time I saw it I had tears streaming done my face. I really don't know why. Well, I suppose it has to do with life, death, and Freddie. In addition to "A Winter's Tale", there is an impromptu recording, out in the UA-camverse, of Freddie singing "White Christmas".
Now I’m all emotional😥 Thanks Adogg for playing this beautiful song and it has been a hard year! So glad you are listening with head phones… esp with Queen 🥰 Freddie loved Christmas … wish he was still here writing his awesome songs for all of us♥️♥️
I consider myself a Queen fan & this is the first time I’ve heard this song! Freddie was such an amazing talent. May he continue to Rest In Peace. Thank you for bringing this song to a new audience.
Thank you Adogg! This is such a beautiful song and hearing Freddie’s voice brings me to tears. I do miss him so much. This really was a Christmas gift from Queen for everyone to enjoy. Watched it all with you!
Listen to "Heart". Ann Wilson has possibly the best female voice in rock history. "ALONE" Also, Jefferson Airplane (later Jefferson Starship). Another female rocker. "GO ASK ALICE - WHITE RABBIT" Journey. Steve Perry amazing voice. Love watching you discover great rock.
THANKS FOR QUEEN it's been a long time since you highlighted them. Freddie delivered again! The harmonizing was fantastic! QUEEN FOREVER. You should take a look at what Brian May is doing and Roger Taylor as well....another rabbit whole ❤
Freddie could make u feel with his voice !! He was the greatest !! RIP Freddie !! 💜🙏🏻

I love you brother but Christmas songs just depress me since I've lost so many of my family. I wish I could find joy in Christmas again.
