Schindler M-Line buttons feels timeless IMO, and it's very nice that Schindler is still making them for more than 40 years since they were first launched in 1978.
HATE it when building developers intentionally skip floors with '4' in it all because of irrational 'tradition' As well as that, they get to cheat by not only skipping 10 whole numbers, they also get to claim a higher number as their top floor when in reality its nearly 20 whole floors lower
The reason some buildings skip floor numbers with “4” in it is because in some regions “4” is similar to the word “death.” They also often skip floor “13” because of it being considered an unlucky number.
I like this design, especially the fixtures. Gives it quite that 90s retro feel.

Very beautiful elevator system!
I didn’t know that M-Series buttons were still being installed today!
Schindler still makes their classic M-Series buttons but I think they are now mostly used for the Schindler 7000 elevators as option.

Thought Schindler no longer uses D-Line and M-Series fixtures in the 2020s and switched to using other fixtures like Everbright.
Do you think blue M-Line fixtures are rare?
Yep
