😮😍🤤What a great excuse to get out of bed and start the day early. I stayed at the Washington Hotel in Sakuragicho, Yokohama (it was a different 🔲 shaped building) nearly 20 years ago and it was nothing like this. How much everything changes! Thank you for showing and explaining this great dining opportunity (and the price is so reasonable!)
The hotel guests were lined up in front of the elevators very early in the morning. (I was among them, not a guest)😝 For the price, there was a large selection of dishes and all were delicious. I was surprised because it was the first hotel I've ever been to that had liquor and wine at the breakfast buffet. Even though it was advertised, it was amazing😮 The breakfast at the Washington Hotel in Sakuragicho, Yokohama seems to have a new menu from April 1. (Breakfast is only for hotel guests.) The website looks very tasty. The prices are still reasonable. As you said, many restaurants may have changed their menus. Thank you, too, for your wonderful comments and support🥰
OMG!!!!!!!!!!! Umai!!! I can't believe this!!! I was in Japan 5 years ago and I never knew they had buffets this cheap! We had one at a ryokan at Takaragawa Onsen in Gunma prefecture, but that was a special treat and we paid a lot, but it was still worth every Yen! I am starting to take notes and plan my next trip based on your video recommendations. The Ginza all you can eat is also on the list! We only ever ate at kaiten places which I thought were amazing, but I think the Ginza place will be heaven!! I will make a special trip just to taste all this delicious food!
Thank you for watching the video and commenting. Oh, I see you went to Takaragawa Onsen! Beautiful scenery and a wonderful place for an open-air bath. The Washington Hotel Shinjuku is in a good location and the breakfast is affordable and delicious. And there are a lot of dishes to choose from. That's right, it's a hotel breakfast buffet that is surprisingly unknown even in Japan. Please come to Japan again.
I heard that this hotel has a great breakfast and a good view from the upper floors. I thought it was as wonderful as they said. I think that it is a good choice to use only breakfast👍 That's right, Maria. That is the same area as the hotel where you will be staying. Thank you for your support as well. I appreciate it☺️ Have a great weekend to you too,Maria🥰
Aya, i understand in Japan it's expected that you eat everything you are served. What do you do at a buffet place if you take a very small portion to try something new but you do not like the taste. Can you leave it on your plate or should you eat it anyway?
Katherine, I understand very well your concern. I would have the same concerns if I were in a foreign country. It is true that there are certain rules for buffets in Japan. However, if you really don't like the taste, I think it is OK to leave some food on your plate. I hope you will discover some Japanese food that suits your taste. Your icon is soooo cute🥰
Wow, this bfast buffet is pretty cheap considering it's near the station and it's a hotel buffet with an amazing view. Is this reservation or walk-in only?
Thank you for watching. It is a walk-in system. It is very economical to use only breakfast. Please go early in the morning and get a seat by the window.👍(The elevator will not open until breakfast starts.)

Another good find in SHINJUKU. Same area as my hotel. Thanks!
Have a great weekend, Aya 😎

I love hotels with a breakfast buffet.
I like to pig out at breakfast and then I don't usually eat again until dinnertime.
This one was really good.
Thank you for your comment.
I don't eat anything after going to the buffet either. I don't get hungry.

@@aya_food_adventures Thank you Aya! Love your videos and tips, very helpful :)
Around what time did you arrive at the hotel in the video?
@@venozoid
Oh! I didn't notice your reply😫 I was waiting in front of the lobby elevator on the 3rd floor from 6:30 in the morning on a weekday.
@@venozoid When I was there, the breakfast buffet ran until 10:30am.
Did I miss the eggs?
Damn sake at 6:45 am?
