I love your videos Doc!!! TacPack never misses an opportunity to disappoint, that's why I unsubscribed to them. I did order their March Grab Bag, so when I get it, I'll be doing a video on how much that disappointed me 🤣🤣🤣 8:36 looks like a whole lot of extra cleaning and blisters on your hands if you do any amount of shooting without a glove on. Being a former Marine Corps Infantryman, I get cold sweats from how much cleaning I will have to do when I see a skeletonized AR part. Keep up the great work and thanks, as always, for your Service!!!
Hmmm….. A design copy Rex Applegate Fairborn dagger by Boher and Rex Applegate Fairborn folding knives from Gerber I was issued the 10” folding knife. Got the dagger as Christmas present and been buying the smaller Gerber ones. Used the big Gerber all time easy to resharpen. My only complaint is that I got a lot of blood 🩸 in I can’t get to were it used to flip out.
I think the wrench is in line with what they do and is a perfect back up to keep in my range bag. I’ll always take some consumables like cleaner and lube and that cloth seems like it would make cleaning multiple guns after a long range day a lot quicker. M4/M390/20cv is a steel that seems to be a popular steel on quality dagger blades and it’s a tactical subscription so I can’t complain if I get a tactical knife. I’d rather it not be coated since it’s stainless but no biggie. The grip is a filler item and feels horrible for sure but in short, I’d give $150 for the box without regret.
Has anyone else not received the February box yet? I emailed them last week and i was told about 200 boxes haven't shipped yet. I have emailed them again 2 days ago,and haven't gotten a response.
i emailed them weeks ago and they offered to hook me up with some free items for the wait, they sent me one thing of paracord... i emailed them again a few days ago and now they are saying they are getting ready to ship or i can have a refund
@@johnn73 550 cord is cool and all, they sent me a 15 degree grip and a mft pmag. Kinda crazy so many of us haven't received it yet. I am still waiting on a response to my last email.
@@dannygordon1106 just got my box today!! was complaining to them a few days ago tho (explained its been over a month) and some how got them to agree to give me my money back plus still send the box so feb plus box and some 550 cord with dispenser for free! no more complaints from me lol i was about to cancel too but since they were so generous think im gonna give them a few more months
Clenzoil is the best, it won on the - Project Farm - youtube channel you should definitely checkout the video. And many others he has. He does a friction test and it did very well. Depends on your area some others did better in colder temperatures.super thorough test. Cold weather, carbon removal, friction etc..
I never seen anyone get so excited over a cloth lol. I give this month a "meh". I think the wrench was cool (never know if theyre gonna send a handguard or muzzle device). That grip looks like its gonna break if it hits the ground when its installed. Hopefully march is better
EOS is a good brand, though they do charge a little extra for their stuff because it's made in the USA. I've had a couple of their balisongs and a few of their wallets. Definitely quality stuff, but I have yet to buy any non balisong knives from them.
overall not a bad box but definitely not a homerun. the ar grip is WAY more tacticool than it is tactical, the knife seems rather meh to me, personally i would rather a good quality folder than that. like you said the armorers tool is not something that most people would get a tone of use out of, and never used clenzoil so not sure how well it works, i would definitely try it as i am always up for trying new cleansers and/or oils for my firearms. i have never tried boretech either so i will be looking them up to give it a try.
TacPac is an ok subs. I don't think their "plus" is worth it though. I have yet to see anything that would justify laying out that much monthly. I used to subscribe to it, but I'm not in to any of the parts they send out. I carry my pistols and am kinda particular as to what I put on them. Same on my rifles (altho I don't carry those). If the money doesn't bother you, then TacPac is fine. This month, the non'Plus portion of the box was ok. That grip would go right on the shelf with all my other unused weapon parts.
I'm not impressed with this box at all. I saw a review on either a December or January box and liked what I saw enough to give Tacpack another chance. I tried them for awhile about 3 years ago and left them for Battlebox (who was great for about a year and went to crap). Anyway, March is my first box. If I like it, I'll stick with it awhile. If not....I'm gone.

The square holes in the handle are there so you can use a regular torque wrench on it, and get it to the same spec.

12:20 maybe it's on your head 🤔
That skeleton grip is more for Gucci builders haha
the knife reminds me of the old boot knives

I opened my basic last night and this was a good one well worth it. The last two were not so good. The wrench is very good quality.
Did not get a knife with mine I’m pissed the month box sucks
Thanks for the look see Doc, the knife is cool if not a little overpriced. Thanks for the look see and keep making sharp things fun and enjoyable.
I want that 🗡️ real bad. It would be a great addition to my collection.
of course you do... u want all the fixed blades. lmao. just messin with ya brother
I'll sell you mine
I think in gona wrap that grip in 550 cord.
That's exactly what I was thinking brother. I haven't got my box in yet, mine always reaches me later.
That has multiple locations to put tq wrenches
Doc, Barrel replacement is not Unit level Armor work.
It's sure not grunt in the field work.

I would rather have m4 instead of 3v.The price is about right for a eos thresher.
I started a couple months after the subscription started and it was more EDC.
I feel meh

I guess I got excited because it was the best thing in the box.

I think the llama genders you were looking for are "macho" and "hembra." And now I, a giraffe, am very offended.
Test it I'm make break it boy
I have one Doc you can swap out.

I deleted the comment sorry Doc my bad.
More trash from TacPack. If they only sent 3-4 quality items that would be better than 6-7 pieces of garbage.
Grab bags are always made of the shit that doesn't sell.
Only way it can move.
