This was fascinating, I love junk removal. It's fun to see all the stuff people have, and it's fun to watch you throw it in, me thinking "it's never gonna fit in 1 load" and yet it all fits like that TETRIS game; I thought the price was expensive in the intro, but actually the guy kept showing more rooms and adding more stuff, in the end I almost thought the price was low!

On your scrapping, get some barrels like somebody else suggested. Save one of the dryers and rip the guts out of it. Then turn on its side and use it as a workbench when you have to cut stuff up. Believe me, your back will that you. Also, a lot of the ceiling fans have aluminum for the blade arms. And don’t be afraid to use the sledge hammer to be stuff apart instead of using the saws all. Blades are expensive. Otherwise safety glasses. You’re doin great at hustling for a young man. Keep doing what you’re doing and keep your integrity.

Dang that was a good price for the customer. And you still have to pay help and give guy a cut. Should’ve been around 1800. Check out load trail trailers of whitesboro tx. Or PJ at chipper in GA. No worries, you rep them a lot so they better have deals for you! I load heavy equipment in my dump so that single ibeam lower to the ground is big along with weld placement. How much was your trailer all set up? Just curious what start up fees would be. Also have you educated yourself on how to identify sterling silver? I would imagine you might run across so old flatware and an entire set of sterling .925 silver can be $1000+ in silver scrap value to a local coin shop. Also I would pull out the drawers on old wood furniture to see if there is any money or jewelry that go stuck behind the drawers. Your channel is cool like mine so I will subscribe and learn from your hard work. I wish u were here in IL since I deal with real estate and would have a ton of referrals for you.

@@JackofHaulTradesIf you have the room on your property to build a large metal building you should and stuff like that deal was easily thousands of dollars new, taking a fine grit sandpaper sanding it of needed and then putting a coat of stain on it to match and a couple coats of lacquer on it to make it look me again and then pay it for sell for 5 to 800 dollars of course starting at $800 and then say or best offer there were so many things you through our that you could repost for sale and do it from your own property if you own the land and build a metal building you would make so much more money especially instead of hauling things to the dump that aren't really trash. You just charged that man 1,200 for the old saying 1 mama yeah is another's treasure. I'm sure not all jobs are like that but even the metal frame that holds the box spring and need on is resaleable like that elliptical they sale for thousands you could resale it for 8 to 1200 or even the lawnmower Just reposting things on fb Craigslist and other sites and you could sale it on Saturdays from home or off your metal building or if it's someone replying to a post they could come pick out up after you get off work for the day or have them prepay and charge a delivery fee the farther away the more the delivery cost. Could be $25 or could be 300 dollars if it's a couple hits away as long as it's paid for up front you have no risk evening as is. Just try to be as straight up about things as possible so you keep a high rating that way puerile will trust that your a man of your word. Another option would be to carry things to flee market, swap meet or place that sells things on Fridays and Saturdays. You could've easily made much more from the stuff you paid to throw away especially when it comes to tools, yard equipment, exercise equipment, desks and storage units or collectibles all those things have a high resale value. You may have got lucky with those cards but they could've also been hall of famers that were printed through the 80s that may have very little value because at that time they printed so many, plus it will take you alot more time to go through those cards to see if you get lucky or not which in not saying you shouldn't do it in just saying that even if you had to resurface that desk it may have made you more then you got from the whole job just depends on the shape and what is required to make it like new or if is missing key pieces to it that are not fixable then yes it would be trash but I've seen people take pallets and make things out of them that they got over $1000 for just by collecting unique free pallets that they built things like tables and other stuff from. Not saying that is a prise winning model for money just using it as a example of how you literally throw away thousands of dollars and what you kept were cards that child be or could not be worth anything at all. I was friends with a old black man that used to haul trash and he would always say it of every 10 jobs I do I make a extra 5 grand out of the things I haul off. He has passed away but before he did hauling and doing resale out of 3 metal building that started out as 1 that was a 40x40 he ended up owning a trailer park , paid for his sons to go to truck driving school and bought a dump truck for 1 and a rig for the other and over 100 acres of land that his whole family ended up living on and all then were set and didn't need to really ever work but he instilled a great work ethic in them now they all own properties and land and one has 5 new dump trucks and the other has 3 new rigs and the original 1 his dad bought him. So I hope this helps inspire you to look at things a little differently not in how you charge for your jobs hauling but what may be repurposed to resale.
