I bought a Mi TV 4A 32" 4 days back and while using apps like UA-cam i can see some patches like stuff on the Grey screen ( only on grey screen no where else) should i replace my TV ??
How stupid of Xiaomi of removing such great functionality from Mi Remote App and not boasting it. Hope they listen to feedback from users. Nothing happens even if you connected on same wifi even on Mi Phones.

Question- The option you had showed in the MI TV app is different than I downloaded. I did not see the 2nd row i.e, "Mute" icon row. In setting I did not see the gamepad option at all, could you send me the link where I can I download to enable these option as well.

So what do you do if your tv is on a hard wired internet for better speed purposes, i.e., you're not using wifi for streaming. can you connect the tv to wifi just for the remote while stream via the cable? will it work?

Im using an oneplus one for the demo. It doesn't have infrared. It should work. Try cetusplay, ive tested on 3 phones and it worked flawlessly on all.

Hi.. I have bought a new JBL 2.0 soundbar. Have connected HDMI arc of mi 43 tv to HDMI arc of soundbar. One HDMI goes from my d2h to HDMI (2) on my TV, and have set sound output to HDMI arc on the TV. There is no sound coming from the speaker. The Cetusplay app works all good but I have only one issues that isn't helping in scrolling down. How do I solve that issue ? It says two fingers to scroll or swipe but not working. And is IR cable useful ?

I am using Redmi Note 4 and while connecting with my MI TV 4a pro from my phone's, pre-installed, MI Remote app, it does not shows up the WiFi remote section on my phone even when both the devices are connected to the same WiFi. Then yesterday I got the update of android Pie on my TV which said, "fix WiFi connectivity while using Mi remote" after which I thought now the device will show up on my phone, but is still not shown on my phone. Please look forward to this.
And also the mouse click of Cetusplay app is not working with MI TV 4a pro. Cursor comes on the TV but the tap (i.e. enter / OK) does not work. Please check.

Hello @Tech Singh, Could you please advise how to get the MI Tv remote app work for MI TV 4A Pro. I followed the steps as per your video instructions and ensured that both Tv and phone (I have a Samsung phone) are connected to same wifi network. Somehow the Tv just doesn't show up on the app to add to list. Tried it multiple times but not fix.
Install the android tv remote app from play store. It works with the mi tv pro perfectly

*Hi Tech Singh ji, happy Ganesh Puja to you and your family, I have some Android apps, I runs it on Mitv 4a 43". But I'm unable to access it's menu key. When I runs in mobile, if I select option button, then option menu comes, but in TV it's not responding. If I long press the menu key of Mi remote, setting option comes. I also try accessing menu key via Mi remote app when TV is online, but no menu key works. Even I connected wireless mouse, when I right click, back button works. Unable to access menu key option of most android apps. MX player only support menu button. Sorry for confusing you. Do you have any idea how to access menu key of Android apps which I side loaded to Mitv. Thanks*
Hello, Happy Ganesh Chaturthi to ur family too. No its not confusing I totally understand ur point. I use air mouse keyboard remote so accessing everything becomes easier. And most android phone apps are not compatible because android tv apps are totally different.

Hey just just invented screen off feature... if u don't have mic on old remote and ur using android tv remote .. just say "turn off " no need to shut down whole device and reboot. I tried this with my moto g5s plus with mi tv 4x pro 55inch.
Didn't work with mi tv remote. Tv didn't showed up on the app. I tried the same with resmi note 3 and the app has only ir based controlled and game controls are unavailable.

i see in the mi remote controller app desc that it is compatible with samsung,htc,Mi,redmi,huawei some specific model mobiles only.
good info, thanks. but one problem: the definition of "air mouse" you have in the title is wrong. air mouse implies that the gyro functionalities of the remote are used to drive the mouse pointer on the TV. so these options you propose are not for an air mouse, but only for a simple mouse remote control or a remote with touch pad functionality and some smart features

Installed the CetusPlay app and gave all needed permissions on TV and on Android mobile. The mouse icon appears on TV Screen, but when I tap on mobile, nothing happens on TV. Did it happen with you too? Any solutions available (if you know pls share).
