I always wondered about your wet palette. I just use parchment paper/baking paper for the palette and replace it basically every time I paint (every day/ other day). I give the sponge and box a rinse at the same time. I didn't think many miniature painters actually used the palette paper that came with Sta Wet palette. Whatever works, I suppose! (Vince Venturella has a video on wet palettes you might find useful) 😄
Yah, the papers alright and is great for long projects but is way too thick for the paints we use. Miniac also does a great video on wet palette care that’s a definite watch. I might give your technique a shot and try some parchment paper, worth a shot! 😁
I’ve lived off of cheap brushes for 3 years so I know the struggle. The alcohol saves the bad ones and that brush soap I use seems to really do the trick
It's amazing just how much paint/hobby muck we get used to after months of just seeing it every day. Great advice!
Thanks, it truly helps save the paint and money!
Awesome video, I hope I can save some of my beat up brushes now 😁
Give it a shot and let me know how it turns out! 👍🏻

I have the habit of procrastination when painting, so I tend to clean more thdn I should lol
That was me forever lol gotta force myself to be better
I use cheap brushes, but they tent to break too fast, for sure I'll try to clean them with alcohol and see if I can save some of them
