Is it getting better? Or do you feel the same? Will it make it easier on you now You got someone to blame? You say one love, one life When it's one need in the night One love, we get to share it Leaves you, baby, if you don't care for it Did I disappoint you? Or leave a bad taste in your mouth? You act like you never had love You want me to go without Is it too late, tonight To drag the past out into the light? We're one, but we're not the same We get to carry each other, carry each other One Have you come here for forgiveness? Have you come to raise the dead? Have you come here to play Jesus To the lepers in your bed? Did I ask too much, more than a lot? You gave me nothing, now it's all I've got We're one, but we're not the same Well, we hurt each other, then we do it again You say Love is a temple, love a higher law Love is a temple, love the higher law You ask me to enter, then you make me crawl And I can't be holding on to what you've got When all you got is hurt One love, one blood One life you got to do what you should One life with each other, sisters, brothers One life, but we're not the same We get to carry each other, carry each other One One
Strikes me as odd.. The band take (i presume) sounds like it's the basic track they recorded in Berlin. In the Sky Down movie and on some promo release the music sounded much more finished, but with less-finished vocals..?
@@TommyMacLuckieThe vocal definitely is yes. The backing sounds like a very early take with some of the album version guitar near the end.. I'm guessing thd lyrics for One came together quite late, so they had to use that vocal..?
@@BBRemixes The vocals at the end are on the album version, he fixed the rest later. Listen to the drums. It's the album take, it just doesn't sound like you're used to.
@@TommyMacLuckie I think we're misunderstanding eachother. I hear a 100% identical vocal to the released album version. But I hear a 80% different backing track. It starts with live band playing (that's why I think it's the berlin backing track) and only after 2/3 they start adding more guitars/synths. I'm just guessing they used an early band take together with the finished vocal and called it a "baby" version. And that could have simply been because the final lyrics came together at the last moment, and they didn't want to release a "baby lyric" version I pulled the So Cruel "baby version" through mastering software, and it's kind of amazing how many layers of rhythm are exposed. Thinking about doing some weird remixes of those tracks some day.
Actually the acoustic guitar made the song more energetic and fresh.
Where can download this version I can’t found this version. Excellent
Thanks for sharing all of these awesome outtakes!! You rock!
Gran trabajo de Flood.. Staring at the sun+One
Is it getting better?
Or do you feel the same?
Will it make it easier on you now
You got someone to blame?
You say one love, one life
When it's one need in the night
One love, we get to share it
Leaves you, baby, if you don't care for it
Did I disappoint you?
Or leave a bad taste in your mouth?
You act like you never had love
You want me to go without
Is it too late, tonight
To drag the past out into the light?
We're one, but we're not the same
We get to carry each other, carry each other
One
Have you come here for forgiveness?
Have you come to raise the dead?
Have you come here to play Jesus
To the lepers in your bed?
Did I ask too much, more than a lot?
You gave me nothing, now it's all I've got
We're one, but we're not the same
Well, we hurt each other, then we do it again
You say
Love is a temple, love a higher law
Love is a temple, love the higher law
You ask me to enter, then you make me crawl
And I can't be holding on to what you've got
When all you got is hurt
One love, one blood
One life you got to do what you should
One life with each other, sisters, brothers
One life, but we're not the same
We get to carry each other, carry each other

Que pedazo de canción!❤❤❤
It sounds great in quarantine
Different, but still amazing
l preview .... of a masterpiece
Interesting to hear what vocals they left on for the finished version (end of the song obviously) on this working mix of the LP take.

@@BBRemixes it is the take used for the LP. No telling, to my awareness, how many takes they did... but this is certainly the album take.
