It is up to your glass's thickness. From the video, the cutting speed is about 650mm/min, 8mm glass

Dont you get blowback from the garnet underneath the glass?

The garnet helps the water cut stronger.

@@shuttlewaterjet1023 without garnet it will not cut properly and blow out big chunks of glass (and micro vent the panel).

@@ReginaldAnteel Hello, thanks for your kind message. Yes, there is a garnet abrasive inside the water. Because the glass is hard, and the water is soft, that is why I need to add the garnet inside and increase its friction power. Surely if there is only water cutting, it just can cut the soft materials, like the cake.
