Brazilian here, it's not that it's flimsy, it's that it has orders of magnitude more toppings than New York pizza. I went to a hotel once where the pizza was cooked American style, I had to eat a lot more pieces than regular Brazilian pizza to be satisfied.

I have eaten Pizza in all 3 of these ways at some point, and I still use these methods interchangeably.
There's always this one guy in these videos that do something out of pocket or just insane and it's hilarious
Spoon and knife is when the pizza is too thin and u cant pick it up and the spoon is because u can scoop it up better but for pizza normally is folden in half or 1 handed flat out
