My husband and I got engaged in boulder wood in 1990 had a lovely pic-nik can't think of anywhere better, my ring came from a jeweler's in Ringwood.. When he passed away a few later 1996 my daughter's and myself planted a English Oak tree on the other side of the deer field from the viewing platform.
Thank you Leslie. Some of those early New Forest films were made a few years ago now and the production was a little "rough around the edges"! I hope that they have improved a bit since then! Thanks for watching.
Such a gorgeous video Dave. I always think the Canadian Memorial/Church is one of the most poignant parts of the Forest and no doubt certainly was to all those servicemen who visited it during the war in the war, for their loved ones too long after some of their most had passed on. Very many thanks indeed Dave, you too Logan.
@@suewright1299 In that video I was still using my Akaso V50Pro with a gimbal. I then upgraded to a Gopro 7 & I am currently using a Gopro 10. All 3 are action cameras.
All your superb videos make so homesick for the forest you can get a special set of tweezers to remove ticks but twist them before removing stops the mouth part staying in the bite site!

Wow .. that is lovely. The area must have such memories for you.
Excellent series of films - really captures the atmosphere- well done Dave!

Thanks Sue. That was one of our first videos (using a fairly basic camera) so the production was far from smooth!
@@DaveFord Crikey Dave, so what camera was it, may I ask?

@@DaveFord Thanks very much indeed Dave, I will certainly be looking into your latest GoPro 10. Thank you.

Good advice indeed Lee. Cheers.
Great work, Dave. Good to see the videos doing so well - keep up the great work.
Thank you, Richard - for your help, advice & inspiration.
Dave - fantastic scenery. Your videos remind me how lucky we are to have the glorious New Forest on our door step.
Thank you Phil
Love your videos..
Glad you are enjoying the series. Thanks for watching. :)
Love this part of the New Forest, have a yearly ritual of visiting just before Christmas, beautiful scenery to look at, lots of holly and ponies XXX
Yes indeed, the scenery is stunning there. Hope to film some of it in the Winter as well.
Recently found your channel, I love it your great!
Thanks Lucy and indeed welcome to the channel! I hope that you enjoy the future videos in the series. :)
Enchanting! Shame about the lack of a pub ...
Yes Nigel....bad planning on my part I am afraid! (Although the ice cream from the van in the car park was OK!).
No pub!!!!! I suppose an ice cream is an acceptable alternative.
Yes - we had to be content with just an ice cream on that occasion!
I'm still trying to work out what Logan takes as his cue for licking you. Whatever it is he has his part off pat!
He is probably waiting for his dog treat!
