I have a question. If the key for pitch correction is set automatically from guitar input (or from room sound) what happens if the guitar is slightly out of tune? could that affect the voice in an unfavorable way? another question is if it can correct voice pitch, couldn't it also be able to correct guitar tune?

When my Voiceplay Live harmonizes my own voice into thirds, fifths or octaves, it sounds louter-spacey and with a chorus-like effect. Is there a way to tweak it so the reproduction of my voice in harmony sounds cleaner and more natural? Hope you can reply, thanks.

Hello! Hope you'll notice my comment, please cause I'm struggling looking for a perfect vocal fx for my singing style. And I consider TC voice live but there's one effect I couldn't find in all demos I've seen. Does TC Voice live GTX has Vocal Duplicator Effect???

Hello, I know that this processor has been out for a while, I hope you can help me, when I connect the guitar and the amplifier line, it sounds without effect.
The question is, can I separate the voice by sending it to the audio console and the guitar to my vox amplifier?
    thank you

Both play gtx and touch have mic and instrument/guitar inputs.and on the official site they have the same specifications; so is it possible to have altered sounds of separately guitar and vocal with adition of foot pedal...does the machine have 2 soundprocesors?

Here's a question for you cool folks at TC-HELICON, hope you can reply. I am a guitarist/vocalist and I use a separate pedalboard for guitar fx. I would like to get the unit mainly for vocal fx. Reading the manual I understood it is possible to lower the guitar output volume, would that mean I could also drop it to zero in the output mix going to the PA? Also - if the guitar is not plugged in, would the Room Sense mics still work as the VoiceLive Play blue model to trigger the pitch correct function? And if so - does the pitch correct function work on its own (chromatically) like in the MIC MECHANIC pedal? My only concern is that the pitch correction relying on the Room Sense mics might somehow fluctuate. It seems like the only difference with the two units is that the GTX has the added guitar stuff and it's identical in the rest to the blue model. I would end up buying the blue model if I knew that made more sense, but my current fave store has the GTX on sale for less and so I think I will end up with this in a very short time!
Thanks for your attention and the great stuff you guys put out. rock on!
    Max

Heya, thanks for the question! There's not a separate headphone and main out mix, but yes you can turn the guitar down completely in the output. That said, if you're going to a pedalboard/amp, you can just use the IN/THRU. The THRU mutes all internal guitar sounds and simply reads chords for key/scale detection. You'd want to go Guitar --> GTX IN --> GTX THRU --> Pedals --> Amp.
Yep, the Play can use RoomSense to guide harmony as long as it can hear clear chords. It's not as accurate as a directly plugged guitar or MIDI input though, since room sounds are a bit less predictable.
You can use chromatic pitch correction if you want to. The key/scale based pitch correction does require either an instrument, roomsense or a manually set key/scale. The benefit to key/scale based correction is that it excludes notes that aren't "right". Chromatic correction can make you sing the wrong note perfectly, if that makes sense ;)
I'd recommend checking out Play Electric too. It's got the same effects as Play GTX and some pretty big improvements to the guitar sounds. www.tc-helicon.com/products/play-electric/
