Dope moveset aside, I love the idea of a spellcasting ring. I hate having a sword in one hand and a staff in the other. One of the biggest reasons I prefer incantations.
Dont get me wrong i prefer faith over int as well, but arent seals equally useless? Or can you cast incantations without one somehow?

Well, why dont you just mod your game so it lets you cast sorceries and incantations on both staves and seals? Or use a mod that makes staves invisible?

IMO would've been cooler if we had a "glintstone catalyst" class instead which would be diverse with regular staves, rings, giant staffs etc.

That's the coolest weapon mod I've ever seen!! I really hope we get something this cool in the dlc

Very cool! I would've personally used the DMGS for the sword model though, since right after we give Ranni the ring the sword just seems to manifest.

Maybe it could summon just the icy “skeleton” of the moonlight greatsword and use that for the attacks. It would look more like the carian sword sorceries that way
I like it more as it is. Besides, it kinda allows Clever to do a completely new DMGS moveset in the future if he decides to!

Hey Clever, I just wanted to say thank you for all of the hard work you put in to these movesets.
When playing ER, I've always felt like the game keeps the player's kit a bit too small, and thus it's easy to feel jealous when you see the wide movesets of stronger foes. But when I see your moveset additions, I feel like you make the player actually feel like an Elden Lord, you know :D
I can imagine the badass feel to switch from sword to spell casting near a fallen foe. Just violently throw your sword to the ground onto them, ending them ruthlessly
i expected a harsh snap/sword disappear into sword projectile when the sword is thrown but it looked absolutely smooth! great work!
I love it when a heavy weapon has a moveset that doesn't just heave it around and slam it into the floor, this has a lot of more controlled movements, which looks badass

My anticipation for the Waterbending mod grows with every release 😶🌫
with the awesome idea for wearable catalysts, and idea for a giantsflame one comes to mind. A bracelet made out of the red hair of the fire giant and it can summon a fire hammer (maybe the replates crozier?) and it works similarly to the dark moon sword, where you can throw it and such, but it has more emphasis on AoE fire attacks that hurt enemies when they walk into it.
This…feels…usable. Like, a PvP-viable weapon that isn’t so overtuned that it immediately breaks the game.
It’s so rare I get to say that for modded movesets.
Best parts I would say are the mix-up opportunities and wonderful transition between hyper armor attacks and ranged attacks. The PvP mindgames you could play with that…that’s simply wonderful. This is what makes the classic Moonlight Greatsword so “great,” and you’ve captured the raw essence of that mentality here.
Again…it’s so rare I get to say that about a modded moveset.

I would absolutely love this. Would love it more if the summoned sword looked more like spell casted, ghostly, spiritual, ethereal, in its appearance, though.
for a second the walk animation for the greatsword looked like blaidd but after the flip it was obvious. bless, amazing work
This is honestly incredible. In a way I feel like summoning the darkmoon greatsword would be more fitting, but this is just so well done there is not really much to say. Mixing a catalyst with a fully functional melee, but transformations like trick weapons, the new moveset is really well done (the swings are from the hollow slayer from ds3 i think?) And being able to swing, dodge, throw your weapon to a long range enemy and keep casting afterwards. This is a weapon I would play for a whole run and use both melee and casting, even thout I've never done a caster build ever in a soulsborne

At this point, I doubt that the DLC weapons will surprise me more than yours... Plus, you've added new character animations, so the PC doesn't move "exactly as it does in DS3". I really like the variety of your mods.

I love the concept of weapons basically having two distinct stances. Like, one-handing is a more basic moveset that can be powerstanced and stuff like that, with two-handing being using the weapon properly or something similar.

I'm finally going to be able to test some stuff out but I don't know if I'll finish my claw playthru first. Can you give me some info on how you incorporated blocking into your movesets? I know you tuned down the just block for a guard counter, but do your movesets have better than normal guard counters and timing windows?

This was a perfect Carian weapon, suited to Ranni's, Blaidd's, and Iiji's styles. The only and I mean only improvement would've been to throw on Adula's Moonblade as a spell slot during the showcase as well as how the greatsword would combo with the Carian Slicer spell.
