Its a bit fake because this looks completely different in my Megane 3 1.5dci! Also much more difficult to do that. Maybe they used the most basic model of this car to create this tutorial and you probably couldnt do the same at home.
There are many 1.5 dci variants. I don't know exactly which one is presented in the video. I have K9K 836 where the EGR is liquid cooled and to get there I had to disassemble way more parts around.
@@tvrtkocro28 to get to the EGR you have to disassemble lot of things around. I mean, it's not far away, but depending on a car you have, you might need to remove a plastic panel where the wipers are. Then it's quite easy. If you don't do that, you need to have smaller hands and try to play a bit and remove the EGR. It's in the back of the intake manifold assembly. Awkward angle and screws hidden in the back.
@@MaciejUrbanowicz thanks for info! My vehicle is renault fluence so it's almost the same as Megane III. I have removed wipers and cover in the past so it's not issue for me! I sometimes have slight vibrations when driving @ constant 1700rpm and they go away as soon as I press the throttle. Maybe EGR is a bit dirty, car is very smooth on full throttle when EGR closes.

And no - you don't need to lift a car. I did it on my parking lot. My EGR was dirty, but it's normal. I clean it in all my cars I had/have.
