Today's religiously/politically correct generation would just not understand it. Bhagat dhanna jutt famously said: "rabb, mere khetaa.n de nakkey moRda", while he slept. I also think, that these allegorical tales are best told in private, and not meant for youtube upload. We live in a dangerous world.
Also what do we make of a Maulvi and Bahman settig out together to do 'beopar'? Very inclusive. These stories/parables harken to old times when Hindus, Sikhs and Muslims used to live together, depend on each other, used to see a commonality and mutual dependence, and mutual respect, despite the religious divide. The spiritual message in the villages was unified, even though religious ceremonies were different.
