- This is my cover of Writing on the Wall by Will Stetson! Much like a lot of people, I could not stop listening to this song the moment it came out, and to say that it has been stuck in my head since release is not an exaggeration. I didn't think Live in Life could be topped but by golly, the Stetson has done it again and delivered another B A N G E R. It's so complex that I couldn't produce a 100% accurate cover (I hopefully will in the future) but I tried to twist a few things to make up for it. Hope you enjoy!

You have to ignore them, the echoing voices
That cackle and curse as you toil away
Cover your ears and focus on boxes and lines
And the shadowy figures, they're nothing but shadows
Like ink on a page, they have nothing to say
But maybe, just maybe, they're trying to give me a sign
That in every building made with pride
The architect remains inside
Peeling paint, a heavy heart
That's what makes a work of art
We scream and we pray

The message of doom, the writing on the wall
Every day we play this game of chance
Whirling through a desperate dance
Sketching visions in our heads
Just to see them ripped to shreds

But there's nothing an artist can do
When you swing your brush, you have to follow through

I am absolutely in love with this. I was trying to find a piano cover for this and stumbled upon your video. And what's even more amazing is that played this by ear. How I hope to have a talent like yours. I'm trying to find sheet music but there's just none. It's a shame you didn't write one ;-; I'll just have resort to my garbage ears to play this.
