Hey Joel, one love from Đà Nẵng Việt Nam as always and keep up the good work.
OK allow me to add my two cent, so i do have a few Albanian buddies who live in Germany and one American Caucasian acquaintance that lives in Tirana, my other two Albanian friends had advised me if I was to ever visit Albania as a person of colour I should stay within Tirana and I shouldn't venture too far outside of the major city, due to lack of interaction with people of colour and i might be met with some stereotypical comments, but it shouldn't be taken to heart because aside from that most Albanians are receptive to people of colour, meaning anyone who isn't of Caucasian decent..
I had another buddy who also lived in Tirana Albania for a year and he even had advised me, if I was to ever visit Albania I should stay mainly in Tirana and if I was to date a Albanian girl I can run into some stares and jeers although Albanian women are not apposed to dating or marrying black men or foreign men in general aside from just Albanian men, the only problem is dealing with it her family and how they receive you as a non Albanian marrying or dating there daughter.

Hello brother! Thank you for sharing…but from my experience in the country, I feel even more better and welcome in the smaller cities than Tirana.
Well I really don’t like talking about these kind of issues but at some point I’m forced to share little of my experience...

The smaller tourist cities are still OK, but it's the small countryside towns or areas outside of the touristy areas.

Ohh, I forgot to mention that I came across your Cyprus videos from a year ago as a UA-cam recommendation an it was very helpful and insight in how people of colour are treated there, plus all of the personal experiences made me very upset but aware of the human rights issues in Cyprus, I know it's not everyone in the country of Cyprus that harbors negative or racist feelings towards people of colour or foreigners in general but when there's a majority that's saying a lot, I did do some research of my own afterwards and it's a big problem in Cyprus when it comes to racism towards people of African decent, Asians etc...
Needles to say I'm not going set foot in that country or think about going there as I once thought about doing, I also passed on the information to a local Vietnamese friend who was also considering going to Cyprus.

One of the major dissapointments that Middle Easterners make when visiting Albania is that they are ignorant about its culture. They have heard on social media or read about religious statistics and think that Albania is a Muslim country when in reality it is far from that. Albanias are a European people 100%. Its culture is the same as in any other European country and religions are only a personal matter to individuals and has no influence to the lifestyle, behaviour or culture of the society. It is also very homogeneous and not much diversification, where cultural influences are not well received. Especially Middle Eastern religious culture is not viewed in a positive way. If you are open minded and free of stereotypes and baggage of mindsets, then you'll enjoy Albania.

    • @albania8982

@arrore exactly my brother. People don't understand Albania. We are 💯 percent European people and middle Eastern culture it's not very welcome in Albania coz it doesn't suit us...
