2:52 this has to be one of the most iconic scenes in all cartoons history
Both moments
The genius of the cartoon is one thing....the genius of showing the cartoon to an audience with an orchestra.....brilliance :)
Oh man they actually did this and I missed it?!? Encore!!
I’m going in Jan so can’t wait this absolutely brilliant grew up watching Bugs bunny
I grew up with hand drawn cartoons for children scored by actual world famous orchestras. And Pong.
Can't believe that they did the sound effects along with the music, that's one talented orchestra.
when we did pdq bach in high school, we had to yank our mouthpieces off our saxes, ruining our tuning., but we did it.
That's how cartoons used to be made.
actually only the music was removed sound effects were not removed or voices, this was done in the early 90's for bugs bunny on Broadway, a show using a 50 piece WB orchestra, it toured after 2 years of success on broadway, i saw at Deer Creek in indianapolis, ind back then had front row center seats for it
Best, and effective way for kids to learn about music while watching Bugs out with Elmer Fudd.
Whoa
Children need more of this
Edson Oliveira right on
Yes, children need laughter and fun, not politics!
Yeah, no kidding. This would help them develop a really good artistic taste.
@@ryuoh6928 And a sense of humor. The world seriously needs some laughter.
Who doesnt
'You're so next' is one of the most threatening lines that ever came out of Bugs' mouth.
Don't forget "This means war!" ;)
Fun fact: this was one of a handful of Bugs Bunny cartoons where the animators gave him five fingers instead of his usual four. When he's putting the fertilizer on Fudd's head like he's playing the piano, you can see he now has 5 fingers instead of his usual four he's had the rest of the cartoon. Other cartoons where Bugs has five fingers is the times he's played piano and they give a close up of his hands to show him playing.
Fun fact #2: The 'Figaro Fertilizer' seen at 5:43 is a pun on an actual gardening product - Vigoro fertilizer. It's still available today.
@@HannibalFan52 🤯
@@HannibalFan52 I always thought that this was the episode where Yosemite Sam replaced Elmer Fudd because he couldn't stop growing hair all over his face.
Wow….I missed that completely! Thank you🥰💖
I love that the conductor actually included the shrug in his motions as they began in time with the cartoon's conductor.
That conductor is thinking, "It's time, already? Okay, then, here we go."
I feel bad for all the kids who missed out on this great cartoon and so many others
Well they could watch them on HBOMAX along with the new Looney Tunes series. They could also watch the old Disney cartoons on Disney+ as well.
Just the best cartoons ever made . I'm 70 and I still laugh at this .............
I'm just 27 but I love it since I was 4! And hope to get to 70 and keep laughing as u do 😊
@@FranciscoMendoza-hv2hvSame here!
"There! You're nice and clean!! Although it looks like . Your. Face might have gone TREW a MAH-CHINE!!" *PERFECT*
Darth_ Madara WhaAaAat would you want with the wabbit
Can’t you see I’m much sweeter? I’m your little señorita You are my type of guy Let me straighten your tie and I shall 💃 for you 2:29 ✂️ 😆
HOW can you not keep a straight face with this excellent use of an opera overture and NOT leave out the immortal voice talent of one Mel Blanc?!
Children of All ages, need more of this😀
I'm teaching on line for the time out for the virus - I'm a music teacher, and this is a great lesson.
I saw this at the Denver Symphony with my dad when I was 5. One of my absolute favorite childhood memories.
I was at this show it was incredible 😍 👏 🙌 ❤️
Happy 80th Anniversary, Bugs Bunny!
I love the orchestra! The orchestra was soooo Talented! Matchs perfectly!
I grew up with this
❤ this and What’s Opera Doc!
So much fun thank you!
How meta is that... the Hollywood Bowl on screen AT the Hollywood Bowl
Warner bros is why I love classical music
Yeah, and Tom and Jerry the culprit for my love for Jazz
Yes.
OMG it NEVER fails to AMUSE it gets FUNNIER every TIME...
Had they decided to do a world tour of this after Covid I guarantee you the tickets would be sold out months in advance.
Are you kidding me? Wow!
I would absolutley love to attend one of these.
It would no doubt make me feel like a I was 9 years old once again on my Saturday mornings back in the mid 80s, having some oatmeal or some Pops Cereal! 😁
Attend? Attend? I want to partipate! Hm. Hmmmm. I have heard of certain opportunies w/i my community.... yes! Yes!
I did the Simpsons one, it was awesome
I saw it live and I loved it
I bet everybody had a very big laugh with this concert. I don't know how Warner Brothers did it taking a 12-minute first part of a musical. And cutting it down to 7 minutes to make a very fun cartoon to watch. And introducing kids to classical music.
This cartoon is one of my favorites
We Need To Bring Bugs Bunny at The Symphony II BACK!
There are so many other pieces that can be animated in such this way!
Thank you Chuck, Mike, Carl, and the symphony to bring this back to life again. I think my love of Classical Music is partly due to Bugs.
Same!
This was my father's all time fave Bugs cartoons... and well.. how can I not love it myself.
This is beautiful.
Bugs Bunny at the Symphony: The First 30 Years (1990-2020)
got a tear of joy out of me
You too!?
What a maroon 🐇🐰🐇🐰🥕🥕
"Ayyyyyyyyyyy! donde esta el conejo?...Para que quieres al conejo, ¿no ves que soy mas bonita y... que soy españolita? Si me haces el amor yo te voy a amar y te voy a cuidar.
Mina Sousa si que desesperada mi amiga XD
@@Tommy-05 Es lo que dice el doblaje, que no es muy distinto de la letra original en inglés.
XD Leí cantando todo lo que escribiste
I have a hard time believing that anything Bugs does with a straight razor would be done 'daintily.'
Magnifico!😊
this cartoon got me hooked on the good music of Rossini
My favorite moments in this video are when BB massages EF with his ears and his feet, when BB makes the salad on EF’s head, and when BB brushes off the dried clay from EF’s face 🤣
He gets every piece of the clay, notice? That's good.
i love how it escalates axe. bigger axe, gun, rifle, cannon bigger cannon then flowers candy and a ring and elmer comes back in a wedding dress. it is just so silly.
Brilliant! And I'm only a little bit ashamed of the fact that a significant portion of my aggregate culture was gained over my 60 years through watching WB cartoons and dat wascowie wabbit.
You and me both!🤣
Do not be ashamed. I learned many of life's important lessons from Bugs and i am proud of it.
3:30 this is the most epic moment of the cartoon history😅
Upset I'm just seeing this, 6 years later!! My heart in one video. Let me go buy tickets some tickets real quick
My late mom loved this cartoon 😂 it’s amazing
I wished the gunshots and noises were also follied by the orchestra. Would've added a neat touch.
back when cartoons were AMAZING!!! #bornin1994
you can't make great cartoons like this one now a days without over sensitive people reacting everything about it. Love this
Shuuuddddupppppppp.
Right? "Oh my god, a gun!!! *THIS IS DEPLORABLE!!*"
Nya, It's funny that you say that right now when Warner Bros. are making a new series of Looney Tunes based on the classic shotgun and dynamite routines (Well, and a new Animaniacs tv series too)
They air these cartoons today sometimes and I don’t remember a single complaint nostalgiatard
Bryan Liguori just stop
06:51 That’s Intermission Folks!
This is great! Nothing like the classics!
Classic Bugs Bunny, classical Barber of Seville opera by Rossini ... it does not get much better than this !!
That, and What’s Opera Doc.
Brilliant!
Un clásico 🌹✨❣️
Lo máximp Bugs bunny y la sinfónica
The best cartóon ever!!!!!!
Man..just awesome!
Here's a challenge: Watch "Rabbit of Seville" and then listen to the original version of the overture from The Barber of Seville and try NOT to sing along with the Bugs Bunny lyrics in your mind.
You can't.
Wow! Fantastic stuff!
This is so funny 😂 😂😂😂
BRAVO! BRAVO! that's a concert i would like to watch right there!
Where are the comments?
I donno they probably went on a school field trip or something

One of the greatest cartoons in history. Ironically, it would be illegal to show to children in Tennessee because of the parts where both Bugs and Elmer Fudd dress in attire that is opposed to their biological sex! lol
whats the name of the song in 2:50 ?
+Wilver Russell
Music by Gioachino Rossini "Il Barbiere di Siviglia"
..maybe you can decipher the musical piece based on the sound track.
EyezOnJim68
Thanks a lot :D
YOU'RRRRRE NEXT. YOU'RRRRRE SO NEXT.
So now who could believe with that story?
"Thieving Magpie" (Rossini I think).
Slipnslide Not Thieving Magpie but the Barber of Seville Overture (Rossini).
I played "Thieving Magpie" in a wind ensemble once, and it seemed like basically the b-side of "Barber." Still pretty good and in the very same vein.
...it also sounds a lot like Tchaikovsky at times

I promise Masha when she disappears.
Nobody can out do the creative geniuses at Warner Bros. This is the stuff that LEGENDS are made of. The Looney Tunes of back then were undisputedly the BEST, not the diluted, politically correct CRAP that they are showing today. Not to mention those PRICKS that edited the toons along the way. So sad! 😢😢. Given the opportunity, I would have kicked their balls in to the point of non existence. If I think about the Teletubbies, I would like to grab them by their heads and fling them around. So much cartoon crap has been floating around in the name of political correctness, it makes me puke. Yosemite Sam's quote "Gotta burn my boots, they touched Yankee soil!" is one of countless favorites. Thank you for the upload eyezonjim68 as this is pure fresh air for my lungs as I grew up with this amazing stuff.
Veaaaaaaan como quedoooooo, ya ni pestañas le quedaron al señor. Uy! que feo queeedo!

Looney Tunes really wasn't for kids LOL!
in my opinion it still shouldn't
Why?
@@jonmusicia2595 yeah, why?... beacuse all that bullshit that kids copy what they see on tv? I've never hit anyone in the head with a pan
@@chaggy86 I agree. These were for both kids and adults. These cartoons are some of my happy memories from childhood
They really arent for kids. Like even those that worked on it in the past said it themselves that it weren't for kids. Looney tunes was the only ones that did things were for adults and never for both ages. Just adult.
At 7:00 I was expecting the cartoon. Thumbs down. V
Trump lost! Celebrate!
what the f..? nobdy wants to see a third rate iPhone video. seriously..
Nor listen to anyone with an unvalued opinion, especially from those with no content of their own on their own channel. S,o if your going to throw rocks from your glass house you might want to install some windows. And let me school you son with some tech history bc in 2015 the latest version of iPhone was the 6s to 7 and Ive used the all version beginning w the 3G - while you were begging moms for a Ps3. School is now O-U-T.
