In this era We used CE/BCE(Common Era/Before Common Era). The period in which we live is known as CE/AD. The period before the Jesus Christ is known as BCE/BC. To define the dates we use some terms like AD,BC,CE,BCE. Lets try to understand it. In English there are two parameters to show the dates one is before the birth of jesus Christ and other is after the death of Jesus Christ. In Gregorian calendar AD(Anno domain) is known from the birth of Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ was born in 1AD. Before the birth of Jesus Christ period is known as BC(Before Christ).
In this era We used CE/BCE(Common Era/Before Common Era). The period in which we live is known as CE/AD. The period before the Jesus Christ is known as BCE/BC.

To define the dates we use some terms like AD,BC,CE,BCE. Lets try to understand it.
In English there are two parameters to show the dates one is before the birth of jesus Christ and other is after the death of Jesus Christ.
BC(before christ)- It is used to show the time period before the birth of christ.
AD(Anno domini)- Anno domini means in the year of jesus christ.we use this term to show the time periods after the death of Christ.
Now a days we use ,
CE(common Era) in place of AD.
And,
BCE(before common Era) in place of BC.

🔴The idea to count years from the birth of Jesus Christ was first proposed in the year 525 by Dionysius Exiguus, a Christian monk.
🔵Standardized under the Julian and Gregorian calendars, the system spread throughout Europe and the Christian world during the centuries that followed.
🔴AD stands for Anno Domini, Latin for “in the year of the Lord”, while BC stands for “before Christ”.
BCE and CE✨
🔴CE stands for “common (or current) era”, while BCE stands for “before the common (or current) era”.
🔵These abbreviations have a shorter history than BC and AD, although they still date from at least the early 1700s.
🔴They have been in frequent use by Jewish academics for more than 100 years, but became more widespread in the later part of the 20th century, replacing BC/AD in a number of fields, notably science and academia.
