No one got stuck. At the start, it says an extended trailer will play right after. Then after the death of Jim, the credits came on. And then a fuller version of the song that Jade played on the violin. The episode ended much too early. And then the said trailer came on. Cheers.
It still was weird that the trailer is part of the episode and it's run time.. I've never seen anything like that before. It had me fooled for a min. Lmfao they even showed him carving a stone (talisman) and they said HOPE several times. I really thought they were doing something crazy but apparently not
Exactly because Jim is the best fighter Jim’s knows 😂… like yeah in that situation as much as I want to fight for my daughter we gonna run because I know it’s something crazy going on… nothing normal there.
Close, and maybe true for the story, but there is something else. There is another way to read that scene. It wasn't the song that brought him back. It was Tabitha remembering the truth that brought the man in yellow. Because the MIY represents the superego. The superego emerges to resolve the Oedipus complex (Jim). Jim isn't real. He was just a complex in the subconscious mind we are inside of, either Tabitha or Victor, whichever way the show wants to go at this point.
I’m not mad they introducing a new character, I’m more mad they left us on a one year cliff hanger… this series need to be atleast 20 episodes like lost if they wanna drag it out
I think he’s the town preacher back in the olden days, and I think that he was the one who got a ‘vision’ from someone or something and told the town to sacrifice the kids for immortality.
I know its probably not the case but wouldn't it be funny if the man in yellow was future Ethan. That why in the first season they told Sarah to kill the boy she needed to kill Ethan before he grows up to become the man in yellow.
Could be but the voices are manipulative just like they did Elgin and told sarah to leave the door open so kennys dad could die, I don’t think they were good… they were also laughing at sarah taunting that there was nothing they could do about smiley coming back. I do think that Ethan is gonna play an important role in season 5 though filling in the gap of why they wanted him dead
Naw. They want children to be safriced. That is what the town wants. Nobody ever gets to go home unless they go back to the lighthouse and break all the lights. You can only make your way to a new island if you see a lighthouse in the distance. No lighthouse, then no one new can go there.
I think that Randall is the man in yellow, but there will be some healing factor or explanation of it introduced later. The painting was done like that for the reason of giving eagle-eyed viewers a clue on who who it is. That is why the monsters wanted Randall and traded the keys with Boyd and said “But we get to keep Randall.” They needed things to go down the way it did that day/night so it could fulfill that part of the story. I also think that is why he’s able to be out in the daytime. He’s not really one of them. Additionally, Julie showing up to try and save her dad shows that everything that we are watching is in the past. What Julie was doing right then is possibly where the story actually is in our (the viewers) time.
I thought a lot of the same things you said. I'm also wondering about the significance of Randall's Cicadas and if that's linked to him being the Man in Yellow. I think the music maybe triggered him appearing. I keep wondering why he just didn't kill Jade or Miranda instead because they are far more dangerous to him, and am thinking that maybe he can't personally kill them due to their historical link to the children. Only the Monsters could kill them (only at night like all of the other townspeople).
The creatures did that to Boyd because they knew that it would cause issues among the survivors all through season 2 and into 3 we see Randall is a fucking psycho with a short fuse his issues fester and that will feed the forest and the town. The creatures were going to kill all of them if Boyd refused and he had no chance
Okay I think when Julie said “I think this is when it happen” I think she means when the whole town dies, I belive the man in yellow is the one who killed the whole town and left only victor alive. Because in the show Victor said the last time the violin was played everyone died thats the reason why he really hid it.
Good theory but idk because when all the people died they were mostly in the town and Julie told jim before he died to run to town because he’d be safe there
@@Jakob-pf7of She never said that he would be safe there, Gotta rewatch it. She said “its not safe” she just told him to run there probably to warn the town or something, never said he would be safe there.
Man In Yellow, Is Mabuse, Mephistopheles, "The Devil At The Crossroads", "The Devil Went Down To Georgia, Cue Violin/ Fiddle A Genie/ Jinn. This Ia Who You"Make The Deal With The Devil" With!💯
I don't think the man in yellow can enter the town because the song was played in the forest near the bottle tree. If he can enter the town, then I think Jade fixing the piece that he broke off the totem would prevent this from happening. Or maybe he can enter the town and it doesn’t make much difference there, but he can't enter the area where the totems are.
I think BIW when he said " he won't help cause he tried once before and didn't work so he won't help again " he meant when he told Christopher about the reincarnation they didn't believe the mad story so it is better to let them figure out this fact themselves. I also think the MIY is not the big bad, he is working with the big bad and is equivalent to the BIW in position and power but on the opposite side, the good side. As I think there is a big good in this place, the big good did not summon Jim and Tabitha until they started to fall out as couple, I think this shows a kind gesture.
Actually I think the BIW is the equivalent to the smiley creature as the chief operator of their respective side while the MIY is above that being the #2 to the entity that is all around them he's summoned when direct intervention is necessary and I think his target was not Jim but the story walking Julie who can change the past and that is dangerous to their side Julie is not a normal part of the cycle and that tips the scales in the light sides's favor far more than ever before it's like a chess game the white has been losing piece after piece after piece but now after loosing so many pieces a previously minor unassuming piece now has way more possibilities and could even completely change the game
Thomas: If mom didn't get that call she would of remembered, Or like the rebirth of their daughter in previous arcs. Let her be vulnerable to them now. Befromed would of scared them, but now they have the experience. 🤭🤭🤭😙🤫Julie.
I think you're right, that the man in yellow was the ringleader of the sacrifices, maybe a wizard of some sort or just the evil cult type leader of the people then. Maybe he got "extra evil powers" for being the one who actually took the children's lives. He's possibly a story walker as well from even further back. 🤷♂️
@lanceyt4401 hmm, idk! Ethan I think will definitely have a big role ultimately, Julie too. If she can go far enough back to stop the sacrifices, would she disappear, or would Tabitha eventually have them anyway? LoL, hard to say. What I want to know is, where the heck are they?! A different dimension? Or some Bermuda triangle-like place? Maybe there are portals all over the US and that's how they all got there from many locations.
this is my frame of thought i think he was the leader of a cult nd convinced the people to sacrifice their kids, and i think he is the story teller nd if he is than he should also be able to storywalk
The main question everyone should be asking is who will replace Jim? Fromville has to have balance.. & every time someone gets unalived, someone new comes to town.. or will that stop now that the guy in yellow is actually In Town ?
Randall being the man in yellow makes sense. The picture looks like its tipping its hand by showing young randall in yellow. The monsters wanted Randall specifically, the night tabitha came back. They needed him for the man in yellow to exist in the future. He even talks like Randall with that smart ass snarkiness. A noticeable scar is all thats missing really. Randall is healing decently though...Might not be, but i think it holds weight for now.
You didn't see him till now because of the music notes they figured out. Jim was also listening and gathering more knowledge along the way, the evil devil does not like that, so he took jim out. I still want to know what the scarecrow totem poles, were for, what were the 3 keeping out,? Sara used a nail in the eye to get information. Those poles had nails in them. Maybe if you put one in a monsters head, you can get info? 😂
The Man in Yellow must be Randall. In the Cave drawing, he has the scar and the big ears like Randall. The cicadas that attacked him must have something to do with the children and their connection to the roots of the Tree. Different species of Cicadas live for either 13, 17 or 19 years (all prime numbers) in the root system of trees, and then they come out all together to reproduce. Also We have to check out the differences between the years written on the walls in the lighthouse, in case they are multiples of 13, 17 or 19. (I'm not sure about 19 though.)
seems like a clear reference to the king in yellow, so he would be the top bad or at the very least the top entity, with no regards for " good " or " bad ", it's indiferent and just wants a balance.
"It starts at the beggining." "If theirs no such thing as monsters, than normans still alive." We see yelow house, with swirles around it, some wearing yellow shirts, the boy in yellow in bed surrounded by darkness. Pretty sure the two in the opening credits are elis and fatima.
Why is it such an elaborate puzzle? Why aren’t they allowed to figure it out? Is it just a game between the man in yellow vs the boy in white? Who set up the game? I feel like there’s a bigger force here
The portrait of the Man in Yellow is NOT depicting him with a scar on his face. What we see is a smudge that is part of the artistic design of the picture. Notice the same smudge is also found down his jacket sleeve. It's also on his left hand. So the scar logic would also mean he has the scar on his hand. So nope..he wasn't painted with a scar on his face. Edit..Thinking on it more..it's not even artifacts. Those smudges are the blood splatter after ripping the guy's (I don't know why his name escapes me) throat at the end. In the show it's the last thing we see..so we don't see how the Man in Yellow looks after. But he ripped dude's throat with his left hand. Explaining why there's most of the blood on his sleeve and left hand in the portrait. So the artist painted that picture depicting the Man in yellow right after he ripped the guy's throat.
SPOILERS FOR THE SHOW LOST DO NOT READ I can see the resemblance of LOST and FROM. The Man in Black has similarities to the Man in Yellow. Also they are connected in this show just like how they were in lost. No one moves on alone. They all waited for each other at the end of the show to move forward into the afterlife.
Only thing about him is he knows everything without even being there so I'm thinking he has rules he can manipulate but he can't intervene unless the someone messes up the plan
I'm pretty sure there are multiple big bad entities that operate independent of each other. The Man in Yellow is tied to the creatures and the 1950s-type town street (that he probably somehow moved directly from somewhere else just to get the road and anything outside a certain radius of the street didn't come with it, which is why the hotel isn't there but the sign is). However, I think there are other nasty, older entities out in the woods.
I don't think the man in yellow is a villian. He is a fail safe to mantain balance and order. He could at anytime rip everyone appoint and gave constant warnings to some people of the town.
I think he appeared because they are getting too close to the answers Julie can time travel so now she can go back to the beginning and maybe save the kids if they figure it out he dies he is trying to scare people from trying to find answers because something that happened must be a threat to him in some way why else appear here right now and not before him and the kimono lady or the big bads she was making good on her promise to the monsters so she would have to be above them in some way she's probably the one who offered them immortality sounds right any body disagree???????
I personally don't think any of the townspeople are any of the entities. It doesn't work with any kind of reincarnation angle and many because I think the entities/monsters have all been there since the beginning. They couldn't be the townspeople. That's just my thought.
My theory on the man in yellow is either he is the BIW grown up (he was starting to change) or more likely he is older Ethan. BIW saved Victor from the massacre, he lost his memories, and originally didn't want anyone to leave the town...and I believe BIW saved Ethan in ep1 in the RV (same place man in yellow came out from) and now Ethan is becoming like Victor. Knows things about the town and is starting to forget Thomas. Maybe Ethan grows old here like Victor but becomes evil. There are so many connections with BiW , Victor and Ethan. I think it could be?
I don’t think people realize this is gonna be the big bad of the whole series. Season 4 will deal with how to kill the monsters and 5 will be the big bad. With how this show is paced they can’t have him be a season enemy with one more season to go after it.
I really like this show but the amount of things that have been straight up ripped from Lost is kinda crazy. Too be honest tho thats probably why i like this show so much.
Isn’t ”YOUR WIFE dug to deep a dozen episodes ago” a weak argument to kill Jim now? It would be different if Jim was a big investigator. Now this just feels like a cheap way of satisfying the kill count by offing a character who have served their main purpose
I don't think them finding out the electricity went nowhere even amounted to anything. It certainly didn't help them figure out anything about the children. Not sure why the man in yellow is holding such a grudge about that 😂
@@SR-lr7heit wasn’t about the electricity at all. Tabitha ended up in the tunnels and that was the first time she saw a child. Also BIW told Victor to wait for her there, so it was important for her to end up there
I don't think the man in yellow is the Randal character. I don't know if we have associated any of the monsters with characters. The closest connection I can see is Smiley. Boyd?
I think he’s more of a real being, obviously not a monster as in he can go out in the day and he fought jim like a normal person and didn’t rip his insides out like the monsters. He seems to have insane strength though being to hold him down with one hand. And he has some ability to know everything to, he knew about the hole Tabitha dug and what jade found out. So whoever he is I think he’s the one behind everything going on in the town. And I’m leaning more towards him being a real person because Jim and Julie could see him. The boy in white seems real at times to but yet only a handful of people can actually see him. Julie and Jim had both never seen any hallucinations of other people in the show to my knowledge and they were both able to see the man in yellow.
I think he's either a jinn granting crooked wishes. Or, the cult leader that talked them into sacrificing the kids. It's possible that he was making a deal for power of some sort and got tricked as well.
I'm disappointed with this post. It seems to me you missed 2 big clues and an important question 1. As well having a scar, The Man in Yellow Suit in the picture was wearing a winged collar 2. The new Boy in White seemed older and less friendly than the original suggesting he was a fake 3. *Why* does Julie have the ability to Time Travel. Tabitha can "remember" the past but Julie can physically go there. Why?
You beat me to it but JIM IS ALIVE. She clearly was a different person more advanced hair was shorter and she looked more fearless she was afraid the last time we saw her and drawn , I think this is a look into the future where she is gonna warm him that the man in yellow kills him in the future and he will change his destiny , also the man in yellow walks in the daytime is HUGE , I THINK ALOT OF BAD THINGS ARE GOING TO HAPPEN AND LIKE LOST YOU MIGHT FOND ANOTHER GATGERING OF PEOPLE FROM THE PAST THAT WERE IN ATTEMPTS TO SAVE THE CHILDREN AND THEY ALL WILL WORL TOGETHER, also a possibility where certain characters come back reincarnated and this shows time travel and mystery that leads me to think these people are in a game where they cannot win
I got the feeling with his throat ripped out, he has to be dead. But he might appear as a Vision in Season 4 like Father Khadri, the bartender, Boyd's wife, etc.
That was just a future scene a you can tell from the cuts on her face. She was just with Ethan so she didn’t just leave him to go back. It all seems like a dream or vision to keep all of us guessing until S4.
@@robertwhitney5172 It doesn't necessarily mean it's a future scene. I think most people believe that it's Julie from the future who went back in the past to try to save Jim. I don't believe that we would see the Man in Yellow for the first time if this was something in the future.
I dont think the monsters or the Man in Yellow can hurt or kill Jade or Tabitha. If you're going to make someone pay for the knowledge, why Jim? Jade with his intellect is inherently more dangerous to them. Sure Jim came up with the music answer, but any musician could have tripped over that. I think due to their nature Tabitha and Jade cannot be directly killed by the town
If the monsters came from sacrificing their children....how is the monster that is Julie's age when she first gets to town and runs in community house a monster? He was her age and asked if she recognized him....how could someone that young sacrifice its child?? Doesn't make sense to me there.
@lsubeastmode I mean, Julie is def old enough to conceive, and this was from a long time ago. It wasn't uncommon for people to get married at like 15 back then
I think this is one of the big bads but like his torpedo minion does whatever the entity says, also when Fatima refers to the entity she says “it” so the entity might be something completely different that is not man nor woman but some type of demon.
The man in yellow didn't emerge because of the music. He emerged because Tabitha remembered the truth, with knowledge comes a cost. The superego (MIY) emerges to resolve the Oedipus complex (Jim), and that's what we saw. Why? When Tabitha remembered the truth, Jim's purpose as the Oedipus father is now irrelevant. In other words, he doesn't exist and is nothing more than a complex and From is the representation of a repressed and traumatised mind remembering the suppressed truth. There is no time travel. Everything has already happened before Act 1 starts. It isn't reincarnation, god or interdimensional alien beings. These characters that keep returning are stuck in a loop as the mind is in a fugue state. All of the archetypes before were just failed cycles in the mind. The difference now is that they are remembering the truth, so everything is changing.
The music 🎶 helped her and jade remember the truth. That’s the purpose of the bottle tree 🌲 to help other recantation’s remember the past with that song.
@CapShotzVideo Yes, but the music triggered the children to come, and the memories to flow. Tabitha remembering the truth is what summoned the man in yellow. Whether the show goes into the direction of reincarnation, aliens or anything else, these are all metaphors for the fact that if you did a deep dive psychoanalysis, it is absolutely clear the show is representing the patterns within the subconscious mind of a repressed person suffering trauma. But, that's the hidden knowledge, not necessarily the literal exoteric way the show has to go. The moment that seals it is the appearance of the man in Yellow. Also, the key word being "remember." In this case, everything has already happened. every archetype is just another failed cycle. Jade and Christopher embody the magician archetype just like Tabitha and Miranda are the hero archetypes. The mind has been recreating archetypes to perform in front of the Big Other. Other characters, like Jim, are not archetypes. They are complexes (Archetypes are from the collective unconscious and complexes are from the personal unconscious) The man in yellow is the superego, and Jim was the Oedipus complex. The superego did not emerge because of the music. He emerged because Tabitha remembered. That's why we have that flashback of Jim saying "sometimes I remember when it wasn't like this." When Tabitha remembered the truth, Jim (Oedipus complex) became irrelevant. The superego is a cruel, harsh, and prosecuting force. The superego also emerges as a defence mechanism to resolve the Oedipus complex and represses the complex's strong feelings. That is why the man in yellow (superego) kills Jim (Oedipus complex). For a comparison, just look at Lynch's Lost Highway. The man in black is the superego, and Mr. Eddy is the Oedipus complex. That's why it is the superego that shoots Mr Eddy while they are in Fred's subconscious (as he remembers the truth), and not the main character Fred killing Dick Laurent in real life. Because Mr. Eddy/Dick Laurent didn't really exist. It was the superego resolving the Oedipus complex.
Jim is alive this is the future this hasn’t happened yet she clearly looks different and her behavior as well I think the man in yellow is a leader and that’s just a form he chooses and I believe that the boy in white will soon be a grown man and victor might be the man on the wall in a different life also I feel like the only reason the sister went looking through past and future events is something happened to her brother and they can’t find him , I sense a huge twist and a setting for a new fresh storyline and roster , there’s gonna be a lot of deaths and I think they will discover a new area , a area that compliments the demented mind of a demon that wants to show them I can put you in a wormhole and pop up on you
The man in yellow is the boy in white from the future. White fabric yellows over time (shout out Maison Margiela). Remember Victor points out that the boy is "changing" in S3 E9. Show still sucks though.
The man in yellow isn't necessary a monster. Now we know that people can come from another time, like Julie did, a story walker, maybe the boy in white is one of these people. Could have the man in yellow come from this place out of time where Julie and Martin were?
He ripped Jim's throat out after exhibiting strength that was way more than what an elderly man should possess. That's definitely a monster, let alone one who's more powerful than the typical ones we've seen.
@@VSMOKE1it funny how people don’t see the significance of Jim’s death 💀, Jim dying will have Julie on a mission in season 4 to time travel and change everything
I image that the Future Julie that we all saw is 2-5 years later version of Julie she is in a romantic relationship with Randall 😍 I think they had to age up Julie from 16 to 18+ years old Thats why I said at least 2-5 years because the From Writers were giving stupid obvious signs and hints that Randall and Julie were getting closer and closer to each other implying a basis for a romantic relationship between them all throughout From Season 3 And the fans were catching on to that and started complaining and started accusing the From writing team of promoting "Ped0filia"? 🤔🙄 So the From Writers hands were forced to age up Julie for the up coming season 4 so that they will actually adhere to modern standards when it comes to the Ages of the Parties involved 18+ in a romantic relationship 🤷♂🙄 Same thing with the the actor that plays the Boy In White and how he aged so much since From Season 2 to From Season 3 with his height growth spurt and deepened voice, Because of that the From writers had to play it off like the From Land was changing when that wasn't intended to happen in the Original script, Writers are known to change the Lore to fit the current story plot or if it doesn't make sense, Or also if it causes controversy like pairing Randall and Julie together romantically because of a apparent "Age Gap" between them as I aforementioned above 🤷♂ But all in all at the end of the day Season 4 looks like it's taking a ominous turn with MANY dark developments, With the death of Jim that was done by the hands of what appears to be main antagonist head honcho bad guy "The Man In Yellow" that has finally be revealed, And apparent future Julie who looks to have come from a dystopian apocalyptic future with her looking MUCH more mature in the face and figure and hairstyle and with her ALREADY having wounds and injuries to her face even before getting attacked by "The Man In Yellow" is a dead giveaway 🤷♂ bear witnessing him doing that to her father Jim If Julie really is a "Story Walker" or a "Time Traveler who can go back in the past and witness things and events that already happened then she can most definitely Right a lot of Wrongs that happened like stoppingTian Chen from getting brutally mutilated by those Wendigo Fairy Fae things, Stopping Kelly from getting her skull impaled to a tree while still being alive, And stopping Sarah from gouging out Elgin's and ALL OTHER bad things Sarah has done 🤷♂🤣 The reason she couldn't stop "The Man In Yellow" from slitting her father Jim's throat was because he was too strong of a entity for her to stop at that time, Maybe later on in the From story she may discover more powers that she has besides "Story Walking Time Traveling" like maybe she can become a Wendigo/Fairy(Fae) herself and then go back to fight "The Man In Yellow" To avenge her father Jim ✊🙋♂ Yes I think it's very possible for her to do that and don't give me "But Ethan said that once a story has already happened you can't change it" 🙄 Because Oh please... if that were the case then Julie would only have been able to go back in the past and only WITNESS "The Man In Yellow" rip out her father Jim's throat and would have not been able to do or say anything about it, But she WAS able to see her father Jim and WAS able to talk to him AND TOUCH HIM and warn him of what was going to happen to him AND he could see touch and talk to her back, If she really wasn't able to change anything in the past like Ethan said then she wouldn't have been able to interact with ANY of that moment of Jim's death she would have just been a lingering incorporeal presence that could do nothing but bear witness her father Jim being brutally murdered 🤷♂ But again she was ACTUALLY able to talk and interact with Jim and warn him of what's about to happen and was ABLE to charge touch "The Man In Yellow" that killed her father and HE saw her as well and pushed her aside, People who can't interact with a situation can't change AT ALL but Future Julie could That means that she IS able to actually be capable of changing things in the past 🤷♂ Again as I said she just wasn't strong enough to stop the man in yellow 🤷♂ But this is thing and fact is what MANY of the From fans are not paying attention to and neglecting 🤷♂ But that's just the tip of the iceberg one of many things I believe Julie will be capable of with her new time traveling powers such as Future Julie coming back to the past to meet past Randall and confess her romantic feelings for him because I imagine that the Future that Future Julie comes from Randall died then before she was able to tell him that she was in love with him so maybe another way Future Julie can Right a Wrong is to go back in the past and confess to Randall that she was always in love with him! ❤🥰😁 Hey a Shipper can dream right? 😁 See you all next year for From Season 4! 👋😌
Lmao 3 business day. Jim might be top ten worst tv characters of all time. The worst. Mans sees a creepy old man walking down and doesn’t think to run…with all the odd sht and monsters around
There’s only 7 sacrificed kids and a ton of monster. There should be 14 monsters 7 men 7 women. Unless you don’t count Jade and Tabby, then it would be 6 couples/ 12 monsters.

If he's an older version of a present day character, I think it's more likely the Man in Yellow is Randall. Although your thought is certainly a possibility as well.
I wondered that he might be another character in the future. But he is very unique in look, sound and appearance and I don't think that is the case. I think they will explore his back story in future episodes.
@@godparticle1470 I also think now that the Man in Yellow could be the Boy in White. I saw an interesting theory based on that when clothes age, they turn yellow. And we know that the Boy in White appears to be aging, or there are different age versions of him.
if he is the big bad and so powerful why don’t he make himself look beautiful? like a 20 year old sexy femboy for example or a muscle hunk with long hair or even present himself like a beautiful woman but no he chooses a 90 year old man

Exactly because Jim is the best fighter Jim’s knows 😂… like yeah in that situation as much as I want to fight for my daughter we gonna run because I know it’s something crazy going on… nothing normal there.
Especially he looks like a demon. Black eyes and black veins=Big evil
Technically, Jim isn't stupid anymore because he's dead lmaoooo
feel like once Jade played music notes that triggered Man in Yellow to do some type of damage control for them getting to close....
He said it himself, Jade can surely play some tune or something of that sort.
@accord93rg music triggers the story walking. For the OG children and must have what triggered yellow dude too
Close, and maybe true for the story, but there is something else.

I think he’s the town preacher back in the olden days, and I think that he was the one who got a ‘vision’ from someone or something and told the town to sacrifice the kids for immortality.
Yes I believe that as well but it’s reminded me of midnight mass
Yes! He reminds me of Reverend KANE from poltergeist 2.
He’s popping up now because the children have finally gotten through to Tabitha.
Fandom just started calling him the cult leader. I'm not sure where they got that from but that's the consensus so far.
I think he is the demon that made the deal of immortality with the people of the town
He didn't get rid of Jim because of his musical knowledge. He got rid of Jim because he was vindictive.
I know its probably not the case but wouldn't it be funny if the man in yellow was future Ethan. That why in the first season they told Sarah to kill the boy she needed to kill Ethan before he grows up to become the man in yellow.
Good call.. that would make a great twist.. and if Sarah would have killed Ethan that day they all would have went home.. nice!
man in yellow is man in yellow lol
I mean Ethan/Victor have been telling the story….🤔
Man in yellow = dr mabuse
This!
No it’s Randell
Randall has a big ass scar on the side of his face though.
The creatures did that to Boyd because they knew that it would cause issues among the survivors all through season 2 and into 3 we see Randall is a fucking psycho with a short fuse his issues fester and that will feed the forest and the town. The creatures were going to kill all of them if Boyd refused and he had no chance
Or the producers are letting the actors have a break for a few years. 😅😂
@@Samuellwrightso does the man in yellow in the painting
Okay I think when Julie said “I think this is when it happen” I think she means when the whole town dies, I belive the man in yellow is the one who killed the whole town and left only victor alive. Because in the show Victor said the last time the violin was played everyone died thats the reason why he really hid it.
Damn you right
Correct that why she was panicked scarred up trying to save from the future

Good theory but idk because when all the people died they were mostly in the town and Julie told jim before he died to run to town because he’d be safe there

"That... was a hell of a song"
" that jade sure can play"
It is unfortunate that the Man in Yellow, being more powerful than the regular monsters, does not have access to the same dry cleaner.
Monsters are all decayed rotten during the day.
Sarah looking like Revolver Ocelot in MGS1. "There's no Geneva convention, no one is coming to save you."
I understood that reference.

Anybody thinking what I'm thinking? The actor for Man in Yellow ablut to get old real fast and pass away before season 5?
I think you're right, that the man in yellow was the ringleader of the sacrifices, maybe a wizard of some sort or just the evil cult type leader of the people then. Maybe he got "extra evil powers" for being the one who actually took the children's lives. He's possibly a story walker as well from even further back. 🤷♂️
If he's a story walker could ethan be the story teller.
@@lanceyt4401stragly the tale does come his stories, but like Victor seeing the grumsomn3ss of it doesn't want to say.
That's the boy in a white dad he sacrificed him😂
Best one I've heard yet
He's Thomas after his mom sacrificed him on the drying board. 😅😂
Randall is healing decently though...Might not be, but i think it holds weight for now.
no way! Randall is prorected by those damn cicadas for some reason. He's probably Martin
I know him. He looks like Babosa, a pirate of the caribbean.
The totems might have something to do with the castle and when it originated
The Man in Yellow must be Randall. In the Cave drawing, he has the scar and the big ears like Randall. The cicadas that attacked him must have something to do with the children and their connection to the roots of the Tree. Different species of Cicadas live for either 13, 17 or 19 years (all prime numbers) in the root system of trees, and then they come out all together to reproduce. Also We have to check out the differences between the years written on the walls in the lighthouse, in case they are multiples of 13, 17 or 19. (I'm not sure about 19 though.)
He's definitely going to be the big bad of next season like the way the music box was the big bad of season 2
seems like a clear reference to the king in yellow, so he would be the top bad or at the very least the top entity, with no regards for " good " or " bad ", it's indiferent and just wants a balance.
"It starts at the beggining."
"If theirs no such thing as monsters, than normans still alive."
We see yelow house, with swirles around it, some wearing yellow shirts, the boy in yellow in bed surrounded by darkness.
Pretty sure the two in the opening credits are elis and fatima.
Why is it such an elaborate puzzle? Why aren’t they allowed to figure it out? Is it just a game between the man in yellow vs the boy in white? Who set up the game? I feel like there’s a bigger force here
He looks like a cross between the MIB, poltergeist preacher, supernatural demon, and the king in yellow lovecraftian monster.
Victor season 1 episode 3: "I'll keep you looped." 🤭
This reminds me of the cowboy in Mulholland drive movie.
the man in yellow is The King In Yellow.
Jim doesn’t listen at all. All he had to do was run like Julie said and he could’ve lived.
Julie will story walk and save jim, but since you can't change the story, he will end up dying some other way.
Also the man in yellow reminds me a lot of Satan from the Keanu reeves Constantine movie
jim didnt even try to deffend himself at least kick punch poke an eye something he just got man handled
I guess the man in yellow, is the kid in white
If there's 5 seasons then he must be the Big Bad - there's not enough time to develop a new Big Bad in season 5 and defeat them in the same season
Hopefully there are more then 5 seasons, but I’ve heard it’s only 5
Like a floor boss monster? I like that idea...
Could the Man in yellow be the Boy in white. BIW already appears in the daytime.
He is the ONE who sacrificed his children to live forever. All the rest are just his minions or victims in the grip of his power
Not sure why the man in yellow is holding such a grudge about that 😂
@BenRangel He probably said it to reveal who he was more than anything else
@@aithjawcraig9876 yeah! (And getting some closure to that plot thread was appreciated)
Nah he killed jim to teach Julie a lesson
"How can a story be completed if all the players remain on the stage." Book 74. 🤔

So heres what happened, Julie with the scar is julie from the future, shes come back in time to save her dad.
I really home this will be Jim’s first vision like Jade had with the soldier and hopefully this won’t stop him from helping again
I'm disappointed with this post. It seems to me you missed 2 big clues and an important question
1. As well having a scar, The Man in Yellow Suit in the picture was wearing a winged collar
2. The new Boy in White seemed older and less friendly than the original suggesting he was a fake
Also Ethan said you can view the events but can't change anything
That was just a future scene a you can tell from the cuts on her face. She was just with Ethan so she didn’t just leave him to go back. It all seems like a dream or vision to keep all of us guessing until S4.
@@robertwhitney5172 It doesn't necessarily mean it's a future scene. I think most people believe that it's Julie from the future who went back in the past to try to save Jim. I don't believe that we would see the Man in Yellow for the first time if this was something in the future.
Jim is dead 🙄😂 Julie is going back in time over and over again to rewrite this history. She has probably seen Jim die several times by now 🤔
I dont think the monsters or the Man in Yellow can hurt or kill Jade or Tabitha. If you're going to make someone pay for the knowledge, why Jim? Jade with his intellect is inherently more dangerous to them. Sure Jim came up with the music answer, but any musician could have tripped over that. I think due to their nature Tabitha and Jade cannot be directly killed by the town
Clearly Marielle makes it to the future, only she can butcher someone’s hair, she obviously gave Julie that haircut

Is he the king in yellow?
They are complexes (Archetypes are from the collective unconscious and complexes are from the personal unconscious)
The man in yellow is the superego, and Jim was the Oedipus complex.
I got $100 on a hairdresser coming into town next lol
It's Thomas
the man in yellow look real tall and scary. he look like he was 7 feet tall. I wouldve ran
Oh, its the yapping guy hahah lets hear these theories
Jim is alive this is the future this hasn’t happened yet she clearly looks different and her behavior as well I think the man in yellow is a leader and that’s just a form he chooses and I believe that the boy in white will soon be a grown man and victor might be the man on the wall in a different life also I feel like the only reason the sister went looking through past and future events is something happened to her brother and they can’t find him , I sense a huge twist and a setting for a new fresh storyline and roster , there’s gonna be a lot of deaths and I think they will discover a new area , a area that compliments the demented mind of a demon that wants to show them I can put you in a wormhole and pop up on you
Agreed i dont think hes the ultimate big bad either .

I think he is Randall because Randall is also a story walker except he is being infested by the locust

So the From Writers hands were forced to age up Julie for the up coming season 4 so that they will actually adhere to modern standards when it comes to the Ages of the Parties involved 18+ in a romantic relationship 🤷♂🙄
Same thing with the the actor that plays the Boy In White and how he aged so much since From Season 2 to From Season 3 with his height growth spurt and deepened voice, Because of that the From writers had to play it off like the From Land was changing when that wasn't intended to happen in the Original script, Writers are known to change the Lore to fit the current story plot or if it doesn't make sense, Or also if it causes controversy like pairing Randall and Julie together romantically because of a apparent "Age Gap" between them as I aforementioned above 🤷♂
But all in all at the end of the day Season 4 looks like it's taking a ominous turn with MANY dark developments, With the death of Jim that was done by the hands of what appears to be main antagonist head honcho bad guy "The Man In Yellow" that has finally be revealed, And apparent future Julie who looks to have come from a dystopian apocalyptic future with her looking MUCH more mature in the face and figure and hairstyle and with her ALREADY having wounds and injuries to her face even before getting attacked by "The Man In Yellow" is a dead giveaway 🤷♂ bear witnessing him doing that to her father Jim
If Julie really is a "Story Walker" or a "Time Traveler who can go back in the past and witness things and events that already happened then she can most definitely Right a lot of Wrongs that happened like stoppingTian Chen from getting brutally mutilated by those Wendigo Fairy Fae things, Stopping Kelly from getting her skull impaled to a tree while still being alive, And stopping Sarah from gouging out Elgin's and ALL OTHER bad things Sarah has done 🤷♂🤣
The reason she couldn't stop "The Man In Yellow" from slitting her father Jim's throat was because he was too strong of a entity for her to stop at that time, Maybe later on in the From story she may discover more powers that she has besides "Story Walking Time Traveling" like maybe she can become a Wendigo/Fairy(Fae) herself and then go back to fight "The Man In Yellow" To avenge her father Jim ✊🙋♂
Yes I think it's very possible for her to do that and don't give me "But Ethan said that once a story has already happened you can't change it" 🙄
Because Oh please... if that were the case then Julie would only have been able to go back in the past and only WITNESS "The Man In Yellow" rip out her father Jim's throat and would have not been able to do or say anything about it, But she WAS able to see her father Jim and WAS able to talk to him AND TOUCH HIM and warn him of what was going to happen to him AND he could see touch and talk to her back, If she really wasn't able to change anything in the past like Ethan said then she wouldn't have been able to interact with ANY of that moment of Jim's death she would have just been a lingering incorporeal presence that could do nothing but bear witness her father Jim being brutally murdered 🤷♂
But again she was ACTUALLY able to talk and interact with Jim and warn him of what's about to happen and was ABLE to charge touch "The Man In Yellow" that killed her father and HE saw her as well and pushed her aside, People who can't interact with a situation can't change AT ALL but Future Julie could That means that she IS able to actually be capable of changing things in the past 🤷♂
Again as I said she just wasn't strong enough to stop the man in yellow 🤷♂
But this is thing and fact is what MANY of the From fans are not paying attention to and neglecting 🤷♂
But that's just the tip of the iceberg one of many things I believe Julie will be capable of with her new time traveling powers such as Future Julie coming back to the past to meet past Randall and confess her romantic feelings for him because I imagine that the Future that Future Julie comes from Randall died then before she was able to tell him that she was in love with him so maybe another way Future Julie can Right a Wrong is to go back in the past and confess to Randall that she was always in love with him! ❤🥰😁
Hey a Shipper can dream right? 😁 See you all next year for From Season 4! 👋😌

And we know that the Boy in White appears to be aging, or there are different age versions of him.
if he is the big bad and so powerful why don’t he make himself look beautiful?
like a 20 year old sexy femboy for example
or a muscle hunk with long hair
or even present himself like a beautiful woman
but no he chooses a 90 year old man
What the heck is a fem boy that's some propaganda Democrat shit Always making up shit like a 1000 genders huh
Julie needs to change the story so she won’t get terrible hair cut from nurse
Because if Julie's time traveling. He spoke to her not to Jim.
