The only core thought for Riley's identity that's missing is "I am a beloved daughter of Heavenly Parents with a divine nature and eternal destiny." 😊

I want to see an LDS edit where Riley learns she is a child of god and it creates this iron thread that can’t be moved or taken down and all of the other threads weave around it.

That’s what my mind kept going to! I couldn’t help but think of what I’d say during a testimony meeting and at the core no matter what else I am at the moment, we are always a child of God! 😇

I love going to Walt Disney World and waving to people who are waving at someone else. It embarasses my kids, and that's what dads do.

Someone once came up to me at university pretending to know me to try to get me to say I know him as a joke. I forgive but I never forget.

I really relate to putting hard things in the back of my mind to deal with later. I laughed so hard when she was trying to get rid of them. I so related!

    Great 2nd movie.
Do a breakdown of the gospel ties with star wars.

20:30 this is also a concerning part of the movie, actually, because Atheists are recently arguing that we are merely chemical reactions and not divine spirits with an eternal history of experiences before coming here to Earth. These “people” in our heads are representative of those chemicals and so the idea that these “control” our actions is also antithetical to the gospel.
Agency means WE choose choices that enable us to do more good things. It does not mean free-will. As we choose good, we are able to choose more good and have more ability to do. Chemicals don’t control us unless we yield to these atheistic ideas that we have no free-will or agency.
Sadly, this movie is a bunch of philosophies of men mingled with scripture.

Its not just atheists, its psychiatrists. The system is built off the idea that our behaviors are controlled by chemicals and much of the mental health field does not believe that we have free will, some believe in free will but that we have very little of it.
If you introduce free will into the mental health subject, its impossible to do the science. Its a factor that cant be controlled in studies, so it is ignored in the science and in their teachings much of the time.

9:35 The question of "were you thinking these things while you watched?" is an interesting one. We understand things before we can articulate them. You can't get to the conscious mind without first passing through the subconscious. You can't get to the logical brain without first passing through the "lizard brain". You can't get to heaven without passing through Earth.
