I don't use the windrower you get less bales. You need to mow then tedder then run the bayler over the dried grass. If you have the money to just hire someone do it that way.
Yeah that's what I do, recently found out that you don't even need to use a tedder to pick it up, haven't experimented to check if it yields more or less yet
@@TimeForChange I think after some time the grass dries on it's own with the tedder it does it quicker. I wish you could hire someone to pick up the bales that part is a annoying and time consuming. Also I cant stand that the rocky mountains or a fence is too close to a field that in hired help mode they get stuck on it.
Check out the map, they're selling points to sell your crops and make money. To grow the wheat you have to plow and seed and then yes, wait for it to grow. Use a trailer and tractor to transport crops.

Depends, the meadows will continue to grow grass on their own, fields will have to be cultivated and needed to grow again. Remember only wheat gives you the straw trails.
You have to mow a meadow for hay bales and plant wheat to get straw bales. Hay will feed the cows and produce milk, straw will be bedding for manure/fertilizer.
You have to buy a meadow and mow the grass, dry it with the tedder, then bail, stack and feed the cows, after that the milk tank appears and starts to fill. Check out my video "All about bails..I think"
Take it from a farmer canola does not make good straw. Ideally you want to use a cultivator to break it down, let your field lie fallow for a year, and plant another crop on that field.
In the game they use wheat for straw, and I can plant that field right after it's cultivated! Do you play as well? This version of the game is pretty outdated now.

No, have to start over unfortunately. That's how they get you to pay lol so you're playing smart. FS 14 was the best on mobile so far anyways, the maps for 16 and 18 are not that great.

Do most players use this game on PS or some other platform. I use the mobile app because I don't have a console other than Wii.

+Robin Sidhu are you sowing or harvesting? If your seeder is empty look at the mini map to find the seeds and buy them. Or if you wait too long the plants will die and you can't harvest them.

Lol do you even know what hay is? I'm a farmer and let me tell you something. That isn't hay. That's STRAW. Hay comes from cutting grass on a hay field, or as this game calls it, the "meadow".

I bought the big combine but realized that with the smaller combine you can create more hay to either sell or use for fertilizer
