It has unbelievable numbers: 342 miles of electric wires; 94.000 electric wires in the cockpit; over 79m (239 ft) long and 80 m (242ft) wingspan; it lodges 868 passengers in charter configuration (510 in 2 classes); carries 70.000 gallons of fuel; 9330 miles of range; 0.98 mach of cruise speed; 510ton of maximum weight at take off. It's really a monster!

Two engined planes that could fly the same distance started to take over the skies. I don’t get why people compare the two considering they were both produced at two completely different times
My roundtrip from DFW to London's LHR was in the British Airways A380-800.. An amazing experience to fly on huge planes such as this, the 777ER-300 and the A350-1000. Anxious to fly on the new 777X and see how great it will be for Boeing....
It's amazing what man can do with technology, it's amazing to see a huge plane like that fly in the sky it's amazing to behold, and scary at the same time to see it take flight for the first time to the sky above. Thank you for this video, it was very very good, keep them coming. PS that's got to be the heaviest plane in the sky, what an awesome thing to see, the captain has a lot of responsibility to fly and to bring it back to the ground safely. My hat is off to the crew who built it and the crew who fly it. And I mustn't forget the landing crew that takes care of it. What an awesome career in the aviation World.
i flew on board the a380 couple of times its a huge nice aircraft very stable in the air. very comfortable in the air. but many of these airplanes went out of service only few companies are operating these plane. the future is in the dreamliners and the airbus 350 and the 777. this airplanes are very expensive to operate.
