- Saanen 1976 - Public Discussion 3 - Judgement and death
Summary:
Why do we judge, condemn, approve or accept? Why this constant movement of appreciation or depreciation?
If I am afraid of death then I can’t inquire; that fear is going to warp my investigation.
A human being dies, but sorrow and confusion as a vast field goes on.
As long as you remain one foot in and one foot out of the stream of sorrow, you will never find out what is beyond death.
A man who dies to everything will know what is eternal.

The role of the foundations was described by Krishnamurti when he said, 'The foundations will see to it that these teachings are kept whole, are not distorted, are not made corrupt. They will not give rise to any sectarian spirit in their activities... nor create any kind of place of worship around the teachings or the person.'
We maintain extensive archives of Krishnamurti's original works and all four Krishnamurti foundations are actively engaged in the publication of material in various forms.
Our videos contain thousands of subtitles in more than 25 languages, translated by volunteers from all over the world. If you would like to help us with translating subtitles, please contact us at digital@kfoundation.org

It generates a great deal of peace in me when i hear him particularly talk about death and impermanency of everything. It in fact is a relief and helps a lot to be watchful of attachment and clinging to things.
This man has such a beautiful presence.
I appreciate how this mans is direct and clear about human conditions that are most often avoided. What are we here for after all? I’m comforted when he encourages us to confront and face this living directly.
Yes sir
So many videos have been uploaded by official channel few hours ago ....I thank them on behalf of all the subscribers and others
hey, i'm watching krishnamurti from bed, i've pretty bad sight and there is a significant distance from the display, so i can't see comments. after finishing 2nd discussion and moving here i felt some sort of gratitude to the people, who stand behind publishing these talks over the years, and then i came closer and saw your comment :) also, meanwhile, i had the impression, that these works of krishnamurti are drawing more viewers (at least - some progress is seen) and maybe there's a chance to acquaint more people with this perspective, in which i haven't personally had any success for the time being. in conclusion (sort of) i would like to thank you for your comment, all the people who stand behind publishing this material and also everyone watching this, devoting their time to understanding what is it all about everything :) thanks
Wow. I understand now how difficult it was for Jesus and Buddha and so many others. It's the simplest thing but it's the most difficult thing as well. They loved us. Tried to convey what cannot be conveyed. That is love ❤
Yes sir
And he fluidly moves from many languages on these serious topics.
Thank you so much K! You have truly set me free from the known. Death is truly an illusion. I want to visit your grave if any and say thank you with greatest respect. 🙏
J. K was the onley one that talking in this level man yet not exzist.
Yes sir
He is not in the graveyard, he was cremated
I think by content of consciousness he means fear, pleasure, desire of something, anger, jealousy, resentment as a quality is common to all…This is what i understood by “ I AM THE WORLD AND THE WORLD IS ME” … I must say his talks are very disruptive…always shocks me when my conclusions are challenged….these videos are gift to humanity!!!
"acting free from the past and the future is an action, K says.
The moment I free my action from past desires, and motives and from future hopes and plans I act completely according to the momentarily situation and only this actin can be right action. At last a definition without moralising - I love Krishnamurti!
Towards the end, he's asking them to go into interesting territory. What happens when you suspend part of cognition before you die. It's quite marvelous and calls upon his habit of challenging thought in all of its pernicious forms.
This is most important talk. If you understand you will never die. The life may full of difficulties but no complaints no tension no sadness only joy. The birds fly without any worry. Animals heritage to die but you will not. The Buddha Dhamma.
Wow! I understood the question. When the organism dies, the content of my consciousness remains for inheritance!
Yes. You will never die. We don't know since bz deadbody can't talk.
When did he say this?
🌻
"Die everyday to everything Now, not waiting until the death of this organism" = "You can drop selfishness, can't you?" which K said to the students in Rishi Valley school... I think....
I love it when people comment and he says “oh geez my God “lol it’s hilarious
🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Sorry for my previous comment, it is a theory. What JK wants is that we act. If we see that all thought is illusion, we act, we end it. If we do not end it, we do not see. Oh dear! We all do not want to end it. But only if we end the self, the "my consciousness" , we see the permanent. So we all do not see yet.
