Specimen 6 and 11 are the worst, six makes you tense because you can't look at it for too long and neither look away, so I just kinda look for a second and turn and my brain breaks and I scream xD and 11 has that song playing, that back story, those looks, that speed... I would think a "devil" creature would be kinda common idea and it wouldn't scare me much, but I'd be wroooong. (I never really died in the game, aside from almost dying irl from jumpscares and letting all creatures kill me once for the achievement)
It took me way too long to realize there was a real connection between a demon, the food being so addictive, and him being the only one to not give up the souls he killed. Food of the Underworld. Eat it and you can never leave.

It seems to me that the workers caught and killed children in every possible way and fed them to the demon, and he, being literally a meat demon, generated beef (the workers could cut off his beef flesh, and he would grow it again) in exchange for children's lives
