Hi Dustin - Great video. Can you help me understand what features we gain and lose by moving to cloud controlled upgrades. The company I work for is a heavy user of video and we also have integrated rooms as well. We have to test everything after an OS upgrade to ensure everything still work correctly and we don't want to 100% lose control over when a device is upgraded especially if the new OS conflicts with any controls we have in the rooms....Thanks
Brad, great question! So the main advantage is that you will be able to have the latest features and security/bug/patch fixes when you are getting your upgrades monthly from the cloud. Although it is rare, we do understand there could be an unforeseen issue with an upgrade in regards to some macro or integration you may have. What the advanced software control allows you to do, is it gives you the ability to test new stable loads prior to deployment on your devices if you require. Or, if you decide you want to have the latest loads... and lets say one of them does seem to cause an issue, you can use the Advanced software control to revert back to a previous software load until we can determine the issue or fix. This gives you the best of both worlds... Current software with some peace of mind!
Hi Dustin.. can we disable the automatic upgrade procedure?

Hi Dustin - this is great. When do you believe this will be available to use? Currently I don't see the management menu under device---> software
It’s currently in Beta and will be made available to everyone soon! Depending on any issues discovered in Beta I’d expect no more than 30-60 days!
