I don't get it, tho: why don't the anomaly devs incorporate many of these addons? A lot of them have litttle to no downsides and improve the expirience a lot, like JSRS or Soundscape overhaul
It adds another layer of issues for them to deal with. If they incorporate something, they are then the responsible party for crashes, issues, and updates.
Idk what I’m doing wrong, I follow all steps in other videos and this one but it still crashing in the loading screen. It’s not a specific mod it’s just with any mod. I have tried generic mod enabler and mo2 still get loading screen crshes. Might jus have to stick to vanilla😓

Folders don’t matter, files do. You shouldnt have a problem with much as long as it doesnt fiddle with weapons or traders (because that’s what BaS will modify)

I can only walk you through the process. You need to first install ReShade on the specific *.exe you use. So if your launcher is DirectX 10, and you have AVX checked, then ReShade needs to be installed on the AnomalyDX10AVX.exe (found in the bin folder). During installation you also need to make sure you apply the correct presets. And then it's just copying the presets from the addon's folder into the bin file. Then you enable them once in game. Any misstep on that process can cause it not to work.
Hey, so i tried to download Boomsticks and sharpsticks, but it doesent wanna show anywhere in my game, i tried everything, the Anomaly launcher even says that "the downloaded addons may cause problems or crashes"...Or what, soo yeah, its fustrarting. What can i do?
The saying is there regardless. To check if Boomsticks is enabled, you'd want to go into the Debug Menu and look at the weapons. You'll see various things that weren't there before, like certain rifles, shotguns, etc. Boomsticks modifies nearly everything, so a lot of the stock guns are still there, they're just modified.
@@evavincze8584 Idk if you have other addons installed, I'd try with JUST Boomsticks first. Make sure to read the instructions in the description of the addon on Moddb very carefully. After that, unfortunately, it's anybody's guess.

I'd wager a guess and say no. Sometimes the structure of the audio files can change, which would break that addon. But the only way to tell is to put it into the game yourself, and see if it works. And if that doesn't work, then the answer is no (unfortunately).

If you can start the game, but there are no addons in, then the install of the addons didn't go correctly. I'd double check the process. In the end, you just need to get your files into the "gamedata" folder. Mod organizers try to organize things, but you can just stuff everything there.
I'm sorry if this offends anyone but Stalker 2 could be a multiplayer oriented pay to play gun simulator considering how games are released nowadays. xd

i have question i've recently picked up anomaly and i wanted to replace the jank animations with Ekho's Re-Made Animations mod but JSGME doesn't seem to install the mod properly and i can't see and changes too my animations and i don't know how to fix it.

What did you do to fix the sharpticks and broomsticks crash, I have only that one mod and I've disable each part once and I've done multiple fresh reinstalls, it worked a few hours earlier
It's showing a problem with a weapon, so it's related to addons messing with weapons. I would test with each addon you have one at a time, until you find the one causing an issue. From there, either you have to play without it, fix the problem yourself, or ask the addon author to assistance.
What’s the difference between game data and mod folder on stalker anomaly? I’m so confused as to where to put all these mods and some videos show them putting them in mod folders and others in game data.
It depends what tools are used and how it’s done. In the end, addons have gamedata folders. The files in there need to get into the gamedata folder in the Anomaly installation directory. Mod Organizer 2, and JSGME attempt to do this for you, and to keep it organized so you can add/remove addons easier. That’s where you’ll see ‘mod’ folders. That’s where people put the downloaded addons. But that won’t do anything to Anomaly.

But i'll give it a try If you are using JSGME, here's how it should work: - Download the addons, and extract the folders from the download. The only big addon is the boomsticks and sharpsticks the rest are little ones yet I don't see or notice a difference and tried on a fresh save and still nothing. First thing I'd do is double check everything. The end goal is to get the gamedata folder of the addon into the gamedata folder of Stalker Anomaly. if you look in the gamedata folder in the Anomaly install and you don't see anything, then nothing is installed. Double check the folders are correct for JSGME (it NEEDS to be .../NameOfAddon/gamedata ). Make sure the read BaS description on Moddb for install instructions.
I run things normally at pretty high settings, along with Ambient Occlusion. Which kind of AO depends on the type of GPU you have. I also either have 'Michiko's Weather Revamp' or the PROSPERITY ReShade running.

hey man i have a problem with BaS, i cant buy any of the special ammo like the shotgun shell variants, (shrapnel, 12x90) i know there is a trade helper file but i cant figure it out, i also have trader overhaul installed
Those addons will almost certainly conflict. It's possible there is a patch file included with one or the other (I'm not sure). But I'd check the descriptions of both the addons to see if they mention anything about the load order. You might need to install Trader Overhaul first, and then Boomsticks afterwards.
Hey wavey, I just downloaded boomsticks and sharpsticks mod and when evertime I press the underbarrel key to use the offset/canted sigh. It does this meele attack before using it, while I saw some other videos using the mod, they haven't gotten any problems with it. Have you experience this problem like I do?
@@WaveysGamingAdventure Oh nevermind mind wavey i fixed it, since I have food and drug animation + quick melee patch found in the Boomsticks and sharpsticks page, V key is bound to quick melee in the file. So i just rebind the underbarrel key in the in-game menu 😅
Don't think so. TAZ 3.0 isn't technically complete, and it has some issues when installed in version 1.5.1 that I can't guide people through. My personal suggestion is to look into Provak's Weapon Overhaul. It's a super tasteful modpack, and he just recently included TAZ in it.
Everytime you load a new Preset from the shaders you have to push the reload button down below , its an important step you forgot to tell

The reshade mod isnt working any idea why?

They changed something recently, you don’t need the patch anymore. JSRS just gets installed after B&S

for some reason boomsticks crashes my game i did install it normally
Hard to say, it could be conflicting with something else...
I'd check crash logs to see if there is a hint, and try to install things one at a time.

Can you show us how to install The armed zone 3.0 mod on anomaly1.5.1?
Don't think so. TAZ 3.0 isn't technically complete, and it has some issues when installed in version 1.5.1 that I can't guide people through.

why you use DX10 not DX11?
The game doesn't get along with AMD Graphics Cards very well, and it tends to get worse (in my experience) when using DX11.
