Girl, I need to know how the hell you do it. Going to school is hard enough but you dance 20 hours a week, you teach math and you have a youtube channel that is just great and you look fine ! Not tired, no unhealthy, just happy and cool ! I know, you must be down sometimes but how you do it ? I can hardly go to school and read a book in the same week !

My dance group consists of mainly 5th graders and socially awkward middle school girls (me) so even if we were allowed to do that, it’d just make me feel alone
It's actually bad. I HATE when girls mess around during class. We have fun and joke around, sure, But we don't halfass. It's very extreme.

I know I'm super late but honestly I only saw immense improvement in ballet when I started college for modern dance and they required 2 hours of ballet every. single. day. And in a 3 month period I saw a huge improvement in technique, control, and strength. Hopefully you got accepted and start to take classes like that in college!

I play a lot of volleyball and at the beginning I was absolutely awful. Truly horrendous. Now, about two year later I'm training, looking to get into the England squad next year. But back at the beginning, I didn't want to wear my kit because I was insecure about my body and I wanted to quit because the other girls there were incredible and made fun of me. But now I'm so glad I did it and stuck with it because it's one of the things that make me truly happy. Sorry, that was Hella long

I used to dance a lot as a kid but I had to give it up when I moved in with my dad bc there were no studios or classes or teams where I live. Now I wish I never had to give it up

Amber Black I started when I was 3, but then I quit at 9, but I really want to go back but now I’m 13 and I feel like I’m old too. But you’re never too old to start dance, so you should go for it. Just be ready for the hard work. I’m trying to find a studio right now to go to.
Amber Black i always wanted to dance and i didn't start teaching myself how to until i was 14 and i'm still self teaching pretty much (there is a dance pe at my school but it's nothing like a real studio) and i'm really glad i did because it's only been a year and a half and i've already close to or on the same level as my friends who have been dancing their whole life, bottom line; you're never too old if you have dedication!
I don’t think you’re too old. I’ve been doing dance for practically my whole life and I’ve seen people who are like 14-15 just join and they do great! I think you just really need to work hard to catch up to the other students’ levels

I wish I could go to your dance studio because I miss it and yours looks so fun! I quit because the only dance studio in my area’s teacher called me fat. Dance is supposed to be positive, but it became an un-positive experience. I miss it so much though!!

I hope you go back. Don’t let someone else’s words stop you from your passion or from becoming who you want to be. She won’t be the last person to try to discourage you. Sometimes people can see good things in you, things that they don’t want to bloom from self failure or even jealousy. Anyway I hope you go back and let the positivity flow from within you as you dance!

I don't think its too late. You might just have to work really hard to catch up with the other students
Definitely not too late, I started when I was 16, just find a good beginners group for people your age
It’s not too late. Some professionals started at 14. I started Viola for example only two years ago but worked hard enough to be in groups with 6+ year players. Don’t stop :)
no ive been a dancer my whole life, and trust me that its never too late to start. obviously the younger you start the more experienced you eill be, but that doesnt mean you will be the best. the best dancers work hard 24/7 they stretch everyday, go to lots of classes, and practice A LOT. if you were to start now, just be up for the hard work, otherwise you wont improve :)
