Very nice presentation to Uganda western region. I like it 🤗. In my opinion, these are the types of experiences we (as Americans) SHOULD HAVE been getting to the continent of Africa long long ago. Instead of trying to Integrate with our oppressors, we should have focused on integrating back Home
Africa is a massive continent. this is east africa 4000 miles from west africa where most african Americans originate, try Sierra Leone or Liberia. Good luck . East Africa speaks English and its cultural influence is what makes it more successful
Hello Willie Fungo and I'm going to sit back and enjoy watching this video and i know that i am going to see a lot of exciting different types of people and other different types of things 👍
Thank you for showing us this beautiful country. It is now in my bucket list, very clean, modern and affordable. Im a new subscriber from Soweto South Africa ❤
Maamaaaa!!!, my region,my home district 😂😂😂 you can't believe how i felt when i saw this . OMG. You have left me speechless, actually am traumatised seeing the streets we used to walk through our young ages 😮😮😮.
I am a Mukiga from Kigezi Region.Kigezi has other tribes like the Bahororo. We speak the same language as Runyankore. And our dialect is called Runyakitara which combines Rukiga Runyankore Runyoro Rutoro and others.Actually Runyakitara is the most spoken dialect in Uganda. Therefore in as much as we speak the same dialect,we are totally different.Proudly Kiga from Kigezi❤
U did a good job as an American To be upfront and be honest People in that region of ankole, rwanda burundi eastern drc tend to be hypocrite when it comes to ethnic relations!!! As the last commentator eric tried to use hypocrisy in countering u Tutsis of uganda rwanda Burundi are all related and bahima are just a clan of tutsi people We arrived in that region 1500 years ago and for some reason our ancestors chose the bantu languages of the hosts now neighbors The president of uganda had worked very hard to avoid the mess the beligian masters left in rwanda Burundi eastern drc(ethnic devisions) M7 forsaw very early the possibility of abiru, kiga, fumbira doing what happened in rwanda Burundi from 1959 to 94 And now happening in eastern drc I need the contact of ur tour guide I want to ask him about buying land near mbarara!!!and that motel was clean i would stay there next time What's the name
Great job bro.. question for you for information purposes if you would decided to buy one of those dresses in that alley would would the cost be. Just trying to get a financial comparison..
The government has to work on building better road.Roads are tiny and not divided ,so congested,no bus stops.Good that they are creating green spaces on the side walks .

What you are saying is nonsense. You tend to look at everythig from the eyes of Rwanda. There is no tension between Bairu and Bahima, those terms are not even used here. Your generalisation is detastable. Be a student dont be a commentator or a teacher.
Whatever. Everything I say in my videos has academic sourcing and first-hand sourcing from the people from the ethnic groups in question. Take it up with them, not me.
@@WillieFungoplease iunderstand you trying to categorize the ethnic groups or background but it's no longer an issue like in Rwanda you don't use words like batutsi and bahutu so like wise here in mbarara it's My home my city we live peaceful with all enthnic groups be it bahima, bakiga, banyankore and many others coz there's batoro ,bafumbira in kisoro and others they are the same coz we had issues some years back when the bahima were only cattle keepers and while others were both cattle keepers and farmers then later they released that they were left behind in business they joined with others coz they used not to educate but now things we are all on the same page no segregation we are One people as westerners and even others coz Ankole pple are homecoming imean they are super friendly.
We’ll visit SA when xenophobia against other Africans is stopped. Until then, we’ll enjoy the tranquility of Uganda, Rwanda and other beautiful places Bro Willie takes us
@@keithm9563 come on don't joke man, you people once had a leader who was a worst tyrant than apartheid ever was. Not only that your leaders never retire, they sit there pushing your buttons forever. So don't give me your crap about without Uganda I will still be under Apartheid.
Is this a distaste you still have for Africa ?…I see you talking about how “nice” a place is when you see concrete everywhere. Every country has its built areas and it’s unbuilt areas…one goes to be where one chooses….then you speak of “random orange dust” ….DUST ??….DUST !!?……dust is Everywhere ! - like air !….that’s the colour of dirt in Uganda, so naturally, the place will have an orange appearance…the area you didn’t see it, is an area that has brown dust, like the ‘developed’ countries you know….it’s still just as ‘’randomly dusty” as everywhere else in the world…it’s dust ! I think You need to live there a while longer…..you don’t seem used to the place.
Seriously, Uganda is a quiet place than I believe.
Thank you, sir.
Great video - I’ve always wanted to visit Uganda and you have done a great job selling that beautiful country

Yes, integrate in your homeland.
You already tried Liberia and look how that turned out
thank you for this most insightful information on african modern culture...

My umbrella tries to fly off even when I’m walking at 1 MPH. How they keep theirs intact at 50 MPH on a motorcycle must be part of Ugandan magic.
Thanks for your your to Mbarara. Really Mbarara is cleaner than Kampala
Kampala is the way it is because of your man, but God will deliver us one day
Kampala is messy because of politics. That's all.

There was no risk of 59-94 happening in UG, the proof is that it didn't happen even in Idi Amin/obote eras. Even Congo was ok until 98.

No wonder it is the most dangerous road. Hardly an highway by any standard. It should have been a many lane carriage way
OK.
The nightlife: walks 39kms at night
The government has to work on building better road.Roads are tiny and not divided ,so congested,no bus stops.Good that they are creating green spaces on the side walks .
Why do they sell clothes ,or displaying clothes for sale outside.shows lack of infrastructure to house them??The vendors have to change this.
