It'll be hilarious when Bruce Buffer calls Jones "the Disputed heavyweight champion of the world" cause he's not actually undisputed But since they bought the old gloves back for Jones, pick the location Jones wants, keep the opponent Jones wants, keep the belt on Jones instead of vacate it (even for McGregor theh vacated him), they got rid of USADA for Jones, got rid of the 12-6 elbow rules and grounded knee rule for Jones & don't make him have to defend the belt against the interim champ even making the interim chamo defend his belt before Jones defends his they probably will still call him undisputed cause it's Jones. They wouldn't even do this for McGregor 😅
🔆Do you think if Jones loses against Stipe, firstly he would obviously be warranted a rematch, but then after winning the rematch would he then adopt the mindset of not wanting to further lose more tough fights or would he then now be forced to fight Aspianll in order to redeem himself be stepping away🤔

I have been saying for years that Jon Jones is not the G.O.A.T. Anyone who has thought Jon is the G.O.A.T. in the last 10 years should give up being an MMA fan and stick to golf or something like that. Jon Jones was always 6'5", over 220 lbs., but he chose to bully smaller fighters. He is a criminal, a horrible person, a cheater. This Tom Aspinall issue proves Jon Jones is not the G.O.A.T. He just benefitted from the UFC agenda.
I wish a reporter asked him something like: "You keep saying fighting Tom will do nothing for your legacy, but what will refusing to fight Tom do to it?"
Dude i wish the mma media pressed fighters more but fighters are way too sensitive for it. Mma media either tip toes around stuff or just avoids asking questions the real fans want to hear. That’s why mma media is basically coming from UA-cam
And another angle: ''What about his legacy? I get that you're in the better position now, but have you considered the perspective of the other guy? When you were given the shot against Shogun Rua, you had not a single top 10 win on your record, and only one top 15 win, with seven wins total and two of them being decision wins. Meanwhile Tom Aspinall is interim champ with one title defense already, having eight wins, all stoppages, seven of which first round stoppages, seven of which also winning him Performance of the Night bonuses which has never happened before in UFC history and six of those wins being against top contenders, one of which a former UFC champ, and yet you say he doesn't deserve the fight. You know what's funny? If Stipe actually wins this fight. It will be the biggest F you to Jon as Stipe becomes the champ once again and retires in a blaze of glory. F your Legacy.
The reason we all want to see Jones fight Aspinall is because stylistically the match up is the most competitive fight in Jones’ career. 90 percent of Jon’s opponents are smaller than him in height, reach, weight, or all of the above. Any fighter that was his size was missing one key component - grappling. The fact that Tom is around Jon’s size and has strong grappling and stand up is the most compelling factor in my eyes. Daniel Cormier was a tough fight for Jon BECAUSE he could grapple and strike, but because DC gave up so much size to Jon because he would not fight Dc at heavyweight and make it a more fair fight for Daniel. We’ll never know how good Jon really is because he’s such a massive cheater and always takes the favorable matchup for himself if he can help it. That’s the reason he ducked Ngannou then, and the same reason he ducks Aspinall now. He hates a fair fight
Not to mention Jones has had the age advantage in every fight too. He's such a hypocrite. He will take the belt from old people, but won't defend it as an old guy (except against an even OLDER guy)
The amount of effort you put into this nonsense comment is absolutely staggering. You really believe deep in your soul that what you wrote was true, accurate, and with alot of great points. I'm going to break this down for you one by one. Nothing personal. "90% of Jon's opponents are smaller than him in height, reach, weight, or all of the above" Welcome to MMA, where every opponent has different attributes they bring to the table. Jones for much of his career was tall and skinny with a longer reach. I'm going to give you several examples of how your attributes don't matter if you're not skilled enough to use it: Kevin Lee and "Skyscraper" Stephen Struve - both guys who have crazy long reach and no idea how to use it. There are numerous examples of people going down in weight or being much heavier for their weight class and it did nothing for their performance unless they were skilled. DIllashaw when he tried to contend for the flyweight title? Jose Also who was the Featherweight king and is exchanging wins and losses at bantamweight? Anthony Pettis, Micheal Johnson, Kelvin Gastelum who all tried to compete at lower weight classes they were obviously too big for and had almost no success? These are all examples of your attributes are only as good as what you do with them. With that said, Jon Jones is the PERFECT 205er. He hardly has to cut weight to make light heavyweight. You cannot say that about many 205ers. Trying to accuse him to being bigger than his opponents when youre actually describing his height is faulty at best. "Any fighter his size was missing one key component: grappling." Okay, so I guess the numerous wrestlers he beat, up to and including a olympic medalist who went down from heavyweight just doesn't matter then. "The fact that Tom is around Jon’s size and has strong grappling and stand up is the most compelling factor in my eyes." Tom is a heavyweight. He has never in his life fought any other weight class. This is easily verifiable information. Jon is very clearly NOT a heavyweight. He got FAT trying to make the weight class. Again, this is easily verifiable information. Google pictures of them. The only thing they have in common is height. You are absolutely refusing to factor in width. Sean O'Malley is taller than Conor Mcgregor but obviously wouldn't function well in either featherweight nor lightweight. But, yes. It is a compelling fight but only because Tom is massive, and can both grapple and strike. Not because they are the same size, which they aren't. "Daniel Cormier was a tough fight for Jon BECAUSE he could grapple and strike, but because DC gave up so much size to Jon because he would not fight Dc at heavyweight and make it a more fair fight for Daniel." What even is this comment? DC is a heavyweight who cut ALOT weight to make the weight class. If you're going to imply that Jon is heavier than his opponents despite cutting down to the same weight as them, then be damn consistent and acknowledge that DC could hardly even make the weight to begin with. The only thing DC gave up was height but he was still wider and heavier than Jon. Volkanovski was shorter than almost all of his opponents and that obviously didn't matter, did it? "We’ll never know how good Jon really is because he’s such a massive cheater and always takes the favorable matchup for himself if he can help it." He absolutely is a cheater but you are entirely ignorant if you think Jon picks favorable match ups. He has 16 title wins. SIXTEEN. Who else in UFC history has even won 16 fights by ducking major competition, let alone won UFC titles. You knew better than to make that comment but you made it anyways. Jon is moving up from light heavyweight. He has never in his life competed at heavyweight. I agree he's ducking Tom but if he's coming up a weight class, you can no longer call it cherry picking when the two fights* he will be having will both be former champions. "That’s the reason he ducked Ngannou then, and the same reason he ducks Aspinall now. He hates a fair fight" You knew damn well he didn't duck Francis. And this is the most tiresome claim I've seen online by people who have no idea what they are talking about. Were you even around when Jon announced he wanted a superfight with Francis. I will link you the announcement if you need me to but he didn't say he wanted to go to heavyweight. He said he wanted to fight Francis specifically. Who happened to be a heavyweight. Did you people just forget the entire reason he moved up a weight class? It wasn't to fight Gane. He didn't even want to fight Gane at first. and it definitely wasn't Stipe because Stipe had lost the belt. Jon, immediately after vacating, said he wanted Dana to agree to a superfight with Francis and Jon would do it if he was paid well. It took alot of negotiating but Jon finally agreed and then Francis ran into contract issues. People only bring up Jon asking for too much money but nobody ever brings up that Francis was doing the same thing. His contract issues for fighting Jon were so bad he left the company. But nobody ever says he ran from Jon, do they? You people like to rewrite history and it's annoying. And the arguments you make against Jon are never consistent or logical. There are plenty of reasons to hate Jon. He's fake. He's an abuser. He's a drug addict. He's a liar. He's a cheater. But you cannot say his career wasn't damn impressive.
Jones literally has been insinuating that Aspinall is a "risk" that literally means that you are scared to lose to him. I've never see a guy rationalize so hard in my life lmao. No title defenses? cleared the division. Nobody knows him? He's a fan favorite. He's just hot right now? Literally has the potential to be the greatest heavyweight of all time.
Don’t understand how casuals could want this fight. By definition, they wouldn’t even know who stipe is, given how long he’s been out. Casuals would likely prefer the Aspinall fight, since they at least know who he is. The truth is, no one is particularly interested in this fight.
that's horseshit. Everyone knows and respects the shit out of Stipe. But Jones is the champ and Aspinall is the interim champ. They should fight each other. Simple as that.
@@dudlEEkidk about all that lmao all of stipes cards were carried by his opponents or cm punk. It’s been 4 years since he last fought and UFC’s audience has changed.
How you just gonna disrespect Stipe like that. He deserves this chance to prove himself. If he wins he would have beaten the best of all time and become the oldest heavyweight champion. Put some respect on Stipes name. Regardless how you feel, Stipe earned this right to fight for the belt a long time ago.
"Whats in it for me?" I dont know. Maybe honoring the opportunity that Shogun gave you and the legacy of the belt around your waste? On the bright side, it is nice to watch Jon shred his legacy in real time. Its sooooo good😂
This whole "Jon moves to HW thing" is just annoying at this point. It's even more annoying that Jon is actively trying to start this narrative that Tom is a Nobody who hasn't done anything. Jon's gotta get outta the way & let HW be active. Jon has only held things up This whole "Tom's an asshole" narrative is just a made up narrative created by Jon. Jon is literally making shit up & talking in circles with himself, twisting reality to make it sound like Tom did something wrong. Tom has not been disrespectful towards Jon. Jones is actually making shit up at this point.
There is a reason Jones finally decided to move up to heavyweight now. Because the weight class is pretty weak. Jones will only fight when he has some sort of advantages over his opponents. Prior to this you could see he did not want to fight Pavlovich either. He was chasing after this joke of a Miocic fight.
Did you see that Jon had an interview scheduled with Adam Catterall of TNT sports earlier today that he cancelled just as soon as he walked into the room? Jon heard the British accents and didn’t even sit down. He cancelled the interview and walked out saying, “this is likely going to be an Aspinall fest” 😂 (Edited). Apparently, Jon immediately thereafter met with Nick Peet (also English) after declining to be interviewed with Adam Catterall. Jon must've felt that Adam and Tom were close, and that the interview could be biased toward questions about fighting Tom.
@@TheWeasleMMA looked that way. either that or he didnt know it was gonna be somebody aspinalls very friendly with in adam catterall doing the interview. either the accent or he recognised voldemort
JJ's biggest fear is probably not being defeated, but being demolished by some fighter. And, in both the heavyweight and light heavyweight divisions, that fighter is Tom Aspinall.
Its very simple- the Miocic fight should have never even been negotiated in the first place. Jon is the one who wanted that fight. Anyone with a functioning brain would tell you that fight shouldn't have happened especially for a belt!
Beating Tom would be the biggest win on his Legacy EVER! Jon doesn't know what Legacy means.. He's speed running the destruction of his own Legacy right now, what is he saying legacy for? Legacy is how the fans and everyone remembers you, his Legacy IS Tom or NOBODY right now.. He's delusional!
Yes surely a nobody like you knows about legacy, no it really wouldn't you guys would bury Aspinal like you did Ciryl Gane if Jones beats Aspinal, beating DC twice will always be Jones greatest win
Bro him vs Tom is very close, even if Jones wins it like he did in Gustafson 2 fight, fans would still be salty like he didn't fought him before instead of stipe or they would say Tom is just like Cyril or Stipe, not that good, blah blah blah, it seems like Jones here to make money from stipe fight and call it the end if he doesn't get that champ champ fight against Alex, which he knows he can win and make some more money and hang them gloves, it's cowardly, but at the end its business for him and he doesn't need to compete in his 40s like he did in his 20s.
@@Bryan-gy3gu The narrative has been framed with lies and misinformation from the start. All Jones did was state some very basic facts. He's no one to look up to, but lying about him and slandering him wont do any good. He has no say in who he fights unless he refuses to sign a contract. Ngannou didnt sign the contract vs Jon not the other way around. Weasle's wants clicks but he doesnt really believe what hes saying if he's actually not brain dead.
It's also weird to hear Jones claim that beating Gane did nothing for his legacy. It won him the HW belt and made him a two-division champ, for Christ's sake!
Jones avoided the heavyweight division when it was most relevant and is now only cherry picks his opponents. He never fought Overeem, he never fought Werdum, didn't fight JDS, didn't fight Francis, didn't fight Velasquez, didn't fight Miocic in his prime, didn't fight Cormier at heavyweight. Jones is not a small man. Overeem used to be skinny like him and is similar height. You didn't see him cower from heavyweight his entire career. He fought everyone they put in front of him. Plenty of smaller heavyweights competed at that weight class and had success. Jones just doesn't want to fight guys who he thinks will beat him.
Its like dude, the fans know you aren't scared of Aspinall and wont cower in the cage, its a legacy issue Jon, the thing you care about most. Like it or not, Tom is the best chance at you sealing the legacy together at Heavyweight, like he could genuinely fight a close 5 round fight and win, retire and the fans would not judge, facing the music is a HUGE part of legacy building, and hell, the money can't be bad neither
Jones is a walking contradiction. The one thing he said that I felt was true was "Pereira is worth risking it to me" meaning he's willing to lose to Alex but not to Aspinall. In my opinion, because he feels like he has a better chance at beating Alex instead of Tom because of take downs.
I think Jon wanting easier fights at the end of his career so he can go out on top is the most plausible and logical explanation. Not scared per se, but doesn’t want to risk injury and going out on a loss. Just sucks that we as fans won’t get the fight with Tom
Haven’t watched so idk if u adress it but what i find exceptionally funny is how he starts by saying it’s nothing personal about Tom that makes him not want the fight, but at the end it’s bc Tom supposedly is an asshole😂
I think most people see through Jon's excuses. However, it'll be very interesting after this fight if he wins because he'll be forced to fight Aspinall or the UFC will lose a lot of credibility if they don't make this fight.
Casuals barely saw Stipe fight. He defended once a year and was never really promoted. Casual fans are going to have a fight party, get drunk, stuff their face with chips and pretzels and talk about “This is a GOAT on GOAT fight”.
8:20 bro, SINCE WHEN isn’t the Interim champ supposed to fight The ACTUAL champ? It should be made as soon as possible to unify the title, not wait for years and years, make another fight, while the interim champ defends his title, beating the rest of the division, to that point, Jon should have been stripped of his belt, and made Tom the ACTUAL CHAMP. 😂
@ it’s jones fault by holding the division hostage, and Dana’s ballwashing of this pos and letting him do that, if not for Tom the HW division WOULDNT had a CHAMP in 2 years plus. As and example so you can understand better, GSP before dipping out FOR EVER, made Dana angry asf vacating the title on the spot, NOT putting the division on hold until he felt like sending a tweet or something letting everybody know, he’s not gonna fight anymore.
Toms got WAY better hands then Jones, lets be honest. Jones isn't taking Tom down, and if he did he's gass trying to keep him there, it would be a striking match, Tom is bigger, faster and hits way harder, better overall striker.. Just as good on the ground.. Jones would get SMOKED he knows it! He's ducking!
And thats why he wants alex because he would take alex down and submit him. Alex got taken down by Jizzrael" Hopefully the last dogbender" Gynosanya. So jones would make easy work of him.
The difference between tom and Jon is 6 years the difference between Jon and Stipe is 5 years. Utter nonsense you're talking. And if he thinks that and is to scared to fight the guy he should be fighting then get off the belt and drop into the retirement fight league.
Imagine Shogun Rua said that. Or heavyweight champions like Randy Couture, Miocic and Fedor said that. Its shameful especially when he is still hanging onto the heavyweight belt. And wants to fight the 205 champ. Keeping 2 divisions in a state of uncertainty.
Legacy is inherently subjective. Jon’s legacy to me is that he ducked Aspinall so desperately that I’m counting it as a loss, unless it’s all a ploy and he ends up fighting him. An Alex fight would do nothing for Jones’ legacy to me, because I know Pereira is not well rounded. An Aspinall loss would probably age well for a loss given that Aspinall is bigger and younger and will probably go on to do great things. But ducking Aspinall ruins the sport and is unfair, it adds to why Jones is a scummy person - or are we forgetting that this is a man who hit a pregnant lady while driving drunk, and fled the scene
Really wish Shogun didn’t give Jones a title shot because he was a nobody at the time with no titles… but unfortunately Shogun was a good champion and a bad man who took on all challenges.

I'm done, Jon cannot be defended anymore...at first (bc i remember how his climb to HW started) i thought that he had always wanted 1 or 3 fights at HW then retire bc from the start he went through different scenarios, fight Stipe as champ defend, retire...or tune up,fight Francis..maybe defend and/or retire.. after everything played out i thought he was at,get the belt, beat Stipe,retire..that's where I've been until recently and especially after watching this shit show, even though the hardcore fan in me wanted to see him n Tom fight, like i said "well if he's been planning Stipe then retire even before Tom got hot n became interim champ...ok i guess i mean it's his career and i didn't see that as ducking really bc if he has a set date that he's calling it quits ok ...even though i still wanted the fight, but now ..to hear him absolutely in evey way 🦆 Tom... I'm sorry, it's like i said about Francis,(yes even b4 Dana mentioned anything it's logged in my past comments) He wanted money or he wasn't risking his spot...to the extent he created a bunch of different ways to get said money that was out of the blue and unprecedented for even the greatest legends, Jon is doing the same thing but not over money it's over the fact that he wants the easiest path to retiring with never being officially bested inside the octagon,i truly think he knows Tom will beat him or thinks it's most likely but he wants his legacy i mentioned above to be intact, thanks to anybody who reads this and Weasle.. credit to ya, didn't want to believe ya but you were dead on...🦆🦆🦆

They wouldn't even do this for McGregor 😅

Jones moves to the HW and procceds to: i don't wanna fight him, he's bigger and heavier than me 😭😭😭 - the "goat" of MMA
With the amount of drug tests he's failed I already had a huge issue with people calling him the goat. Now he's ducking fighting top tier heavyweights which he's been doing his entire career. So none of this is surprising to me. The Stipe fight was a joke a year ago and it's a joke now. He should have never been fought Jones for the belt.
Jones is a coward
Then people should cry for Khabib to come back in 5 yrs against the top Welterweight.
See what happens
Not to mention Jones has had the age advantage in every fight too. He's such a hypocrite. He will take the belt from old people, but won't defend it as an old guy (except against an even OLDER guy)
@@rickjones5399so stupid lol
The amount of effort you put into this nonsense comment is absolutely staggering. You really believe deep in your soul that what you wrote was true, accurate, and with alot of great points.
I'm going to break this down for you one by one. Nothing personal.
"90% of Jon's opponents are smaller than him in height, reach, weight, or all of the above"
Welcome to MMA, where every opponent has different attributes they bring to the table. Jones for much of his career was tall and skinny with a longer reach. I'm going to give you several examples of how your attributes don't matter if you're not skilled enough to use it:
Kevin Lee and "Skyscraper" Stephen Struve - both guys who have crazy long reach and no idea how to use it.
"Any fighter his size was missing one key component: grappling."
Okay, so I guess the numerous wrestlers he beat, up to and including a olympic medalist who went down from heavyweight just doesn't matter then.
"The fact that Tom is around Jon’s size and has strong grappling and stand up is the most compelling factor in my eyes."
Tom is a heavyweight.
"Daniel Cormier was a tough fight for Jon BECAUSE he could grapple and strike, but because DC gave up so much size to Jon because he would not fight Dc at heavyweight and make it a more fair fight for Daniel."
What even is this comment? DC is a heavyweight who cut ALOT weight to make the weight class. If you're going to imply that Jon is heavier than his opponents despite cutting down to the same weight as them, then be damn consistent and acknowledge that DC could hardly even make the weight to begin with. The only thing DC gave up was height but he was still wider and heavier than Jon. Volkanovski was shorter than almost all of his opponents and that obviously didn't matter, did it?
"We’ll never know how good Jon really is because he’s such a massive cheater and always takes the favorable matchup for himself if he can help it."
He absolutely is a cheater but you are entirely ignorant if you think Jon picks favorable match ups.
He hates a fair fight"
You knew damn well he didn't duck Francis.

@@odysseusdadon1234people with a brain look at performances. Try it sometime.
You 100% can duck someone you’ve never been scheduled to fight. Giving excuses out for why you don’t want to fight them is ducking😂
Zip it up after
What are you talking about. What he said is the opposite of glazing
Jones is really going all out to try and change the narrative
@@Bryan-gy3gu The narrative has been framed with lies and misinformation from the start. All Jones did was state some very basic facts. He's no one to look up to, but lying about him and slandering him wont do any good. He has no say in who he fights unless he refuses to sign a contract. Ngannou didnt sign the contract vs Jon not the other way around. Weasle's wants clicks but he doesnt really believe what hes saying if he's actually not brain dead.
You can ONLY duck someone you're not scheduled to fight.
Jon ‘Duck’ Jones
It's also weird to hear Jones claim that beating Gane did nothing for his legacy. It won him the HW belt and made him a two-division champ, for Christ's sake!
Yes total utter nonsense. That was a far more impressive win than that shameful Miocic fight.
Francis is older than Jones but he still took two to "bulk" just for him. Right when francis leaves Jones is all of the sudden ready
Thank you Jones for narrowing the goat discussion to GSP and Mighty Mouse. Much love ❤
It doesn't matter WHY he's doing it but WHAT he's doing and WHAT he's doing is ducking and he's telling you WHY.
Respect that, drop the title first
Haven’t watched so idk if u adress it but what i find exceptionally funny is how he starts by saying it’s nothing personal about Tom that makes him not want the fight, but at the end it’s bc Tom supposedly is an asshole😂
Jon: "These new gloves are really going to diminish my eye-poking abilities..."
UFC: "We hate the new gloves..." 🤨
The quackery is strong in this one
This is a great channel.
At this point Jones already lost to Aspinoll.
I think most people see through Jon's excuses. However, it'll be very interesting after this fight if he wins because he'll be forced to fight Aspinall or the UFC will lose a lot of credibility if they don't make this fight.
UFC would try to make it but Jones is just going to retire like a kid who pulled someone nonsense so that they can get their way
He's already said hes retiring no matter what after this. He's legit running from tom
I agree that's likely. You can't force a man to fight lol
Probably the best video on this topic on the whole net
Jones said it's not personal. Then he said it's personal because his feelings got hurt.
Neither guy beat the lineal heavyweight champion, so in all reality one can’t say that Jones’ title is more legitimate than Aspinall’s interim belt.
If he retires before fighting Tom, he's not the goat anymore
He's not the goat rn either lol
He ain’t the goat anyway, I’d say GSP, Silva and DJ with his, like 11 title defences is up there far clear of this steroid cheat
@@OwaisSheikh-rs4hm Dj an Silva fought lesser competition compared to Jones
@@tmerchead1DJ didn’t get caught cheating though
He never was
I've been making q video a day basically at this point, the guy literally cannot stop creating NEW narratives for his DUCKING
He has a bright future in politics because that's what he seems like now more than a real fighter.
Casuals who even know who Stipe is have been watching for so long they know Stipe is old.
Casuals barely saw Stipe fight. He defended once a year and was never really promoted. Casual fans are going to have a fight party, get drunk, stuff their face with chips and pretzels and talk about “This is a GOAT on GOAT fight”.
It's funny to see the man considered to be the best pound for pound fighter in the world, scared as hell to fight someone.
The excuses from Jon are WILD 😂😂😂
Jones Jones should change his name to Daffy Duck
😂
Jonald duck
I love that everyone is roasting Jon for this silly shit. Stop ducking and fight Aspinall. He earned it!
All i heard from that interview was Quack Quack Quack!!
So whose fault is it. The UFC for creating an interim title when they knew they wouldn’t have a unification immediately.
So beating Tom does nothing but beating a former champion who is old does. All I hear is quack quack
Better hands and footwork.
And thats why he wants alex because he would take alex down and submit him. Alex got taken down by Jizzrael" Hopefully the last dogbender" Gynosanya. So jones would make easy work of him.
Been waiting to hear TheWeasle’s thoughts on this
Tom mauls Jon.
he was pretty honest. He said he's too big, too young, and not worth the risk. Spot on
The difference between tom and Jon is 6 years the difference between Jon and Stipe is 5 years.
"from my pppoint of view..."he looked and sounded scared even saying that
Maybe international fight week next year can be Jon Jones vs despaigne Despagine
Wow.. great analysis bro
Sorry in advance bc this will be a long comment,so fair warning for those who don't read the long ones ...Ok.... I'm sorry, it's like i said about Francis,(yes even b4 Dana mentioned anything it's logged in my past comments) He wanted money or he wasn't risking his spot...to the extent he created a bunch of different ways to get said money that was out of the blue and unprecedented for even the greatest legends, Jon is doing the same thing but not over money it's over the fact that he wants the easiest path to retiring with never being officially bested inside the octagon,i truly think he knows Tom will beat him or thinks it's most likely but he wants his legacy i mentioned above to be intact, thanks to anybody who reads this and Weasle.. credit to ya, didn't want to believe ya but you were dead on...🦆🦆🦆
Strip Jon already!!! How do you get to be champ when you refuse to fight the number one contender???
