The dirtiest Sega Genesis Model 2 Repair I have done

This video shows the full repair of a Sega Genesis Model 2. This console has the dirtiest PCB I have seen, even though initially it didn't seem that bad. Console came to me because it wouldn't load a game except 1 out of 20-30 times according to the owner.

I recommend running a 4000 grit sand paper on the cartridge connector along with some contact cleaner to expose some shiny on the crusty contacts. Helps a lot with freezes.

Boards like this go into soapy water man. Rinse them off with distilled water and dry in the sun.
