I love it! It’s so very cool! My grandparents actually came here on the Queen Mary in 1948 from England! It’s very nice! We even stayed there at the hotel and took a ghost tour. It was phenomenal!

That looks lovely my grandfather was a riveter in the Glasgow ship building company in Scotland where it was built and put thousands of rivets into that ship. So I almost feels like a bit of family heritage to me thank you Adam

I miss the Queen Mary, and the Dark Harbor Halloween attraction they used to have here every year was top notch. First stayed here for prom, and I've been wanting to stay again for the past two years but it's all up in limbo now because of all the money lost during Covid times. And now the ship is sinking and in need of expensive repairs.. Eesh. I truly hope the city of Long Beach works it out. If this ever opens up again I hope I can be there for it. I've especially always wanted to stay in the Churchill room, where Winston Churchill himself is said to have signed the D Day declaration. Incredible piece of living history this ship. Long live the Grey Ghost!
The quartet had a Chipmunk and Beach Boys vibe.👋🏄 Enjoyed this so much!🎅 I have relatives that went to Africa on this ship! Beautiful with the lights...definitely most impressive!👍💖🎄🎄🎄

YAY! I love it! All the singing and Christmas stuff! I haven't been to the ship in awhile, last time was the Scottish festival last year, I bet you would really enjoy that too! It's really something else, they got the dancing, music, the SPORTS, guys throwing bog ole logs n stuff! Ha ha... and of course, some awesome Scottish eats!

Love love love the Queen Mary! I was a kid when they parked her there and tour as often as I can. My husband and I have taken all our kids on board and two of them opted to attend CSU Long Beach. My Grandmother lived there her whole 106 years and just recently passed away. Yes Adam you are on the nice list!

I have not been to the Queen Mary since I was a little girl. To be honest, the beginning of the video confused me for a second cuz I was like, "I thought the boat was retired...." lol! You'll have to visit Ports O' Call next time you're in the area Adam. It's not as great as it was when I was a kid, but last I went a few years ago, I got the impression they were trying to refurbish it, and clean it up.

The deckboard scenes for Poseidon Adventure were filmed on QM. They even rocked the camera for effect of the waves.

The QM does remind me of the Titanic for sure. Studied it's story for a long time, read books, watched (and read) A Night To Remember, all the documentaries, built models, visited exhibits (saw the "big piece" in Orlando.) Later learned that fellow church member wrote two books about it (Titanic The Ship Magnificent) and went to China to help build their version (which has since flopped.) So yeah, I'd have loved to tour that ship! Looks like Santa has lost weight, need more cookies... Sweet Lego model... Looks like a fun time!

Adventures by George Was Queen Mary designed after the Titanic? It looks a lot like it and the same size. Also if you want to watch a good Titanic Doc here on youtube. I recommend the California trial. Not really a Titanic doc but it's a good story about the trial of the California.
@@johnnyfive222 - Yeah, the whole Californian part of the story is so frustrating. If Capt. Lord had investigated the several flares that had been launched, a lot of lives would have been saved. The Carpathia did come, but it was many hours too late.
