Uh-huh. The only reason I know, is because back a couple of decades ago, my mom's passion was watching ice skaters like Scott Hamilton perform. A couple of them did use this song, and it stuck in my head, ever since. It wasn't until UA-cam came along years later that I finally found this song again.

Bumbled across this song and it took me back to 1995 and I was 30 yrs old. I was a single dad for two years already. Gave up my dream occupation as a Union Ironworker so I could be there and raise her better. So in 1995 I went to college to earn a nursing degree. Raya was 4 yrs old then. This was her absolute favorite song and she would sing along with it on the radio. We loved each other so much from her birth. She was my entire world. Her mom was never around when she turned 2 yrs. old...Poof gone. I was able to give her a good life and in school she was Varsity basketball , Volleyball , Cheerleader and a very proud graduate of the D.A.R.E program.
Now she's 31 and 12 yrs. ago she went poof..gone...A drug addict on the streets in Central Ohio. I never hear from her. Pure Hell on Earth it was for me and still is.. God I loved her so much and would have laid down and died for her. So in writing.this with tears streaming down my face..this song now has become bittersweet. I can still see her beautiful little self in the passenger seat just smiling and bopping while she was singing this song. Since then I live in the realms of the darkest depression. I lost my little Raya...the greatest gift God could have have ever gave me. Hope even becomes a fading , tortures concept.

I was a malay girl from malaysia and I heard lot this song on radio when I was 6 or 10 years old. Can't remember my age or the years. The fact that this song is well known around the globe was evergreen until now, you know that lemon tree is quite quality and sentimental. Best song of all time.

@@michaelangelo86gr It's half-playback. The lead vocal is obviously live, drums too. Some of the percussion doesn't fit (drummer isn't playing his tambourine). Not sure about bass and the guitar is mixed soooo quiet so who knows.
But have you noticed that this is cut together from different takes? They keyboard player's top keyboard (the red one) keeps appearing and disappearing.
