I love your gift to Sally. The Golden Wedding Anniversary Sampler was well received and from today I'm only wearing the finger splint at night 😊. I have a piece of Goldwork waiting to be finished. I'm sure you'll both enjoy the kit. I went on a 4-day course about 6 years ago and finished the piece but have too many assorted WIPs (embroidery/quilting/knitting/cross stitch) on the go and some need time to pick up where I left off so get put aside for longer! Enjoy your weekend.

I love Krista’s designs and her book is very worth every penny as you showed all the patterns available as well as a design section full of patterns. I have used the traditional Greek fabric for a couple of designs. Aida would be easily used as there are full crosses. She has some patterns where 30 count is suggested. Her company is Avlea (based in Salem, Oregon). I have taken photos of the patterns and used them on my IPAD as I do not want to mark up a book. Thank you for an honest opinion on the book.
I think it’s really a beautiful book Dianne. I love the colours and designs of her style too. She is clearly a very talented designer. I’m glad you have enjoyed stitching her patterns.

I’d heard of her through the Fiber Talk podcast here on UA-cam, but wasn’t aware of the book. If I remember right, she makes hand embroidered garments for the Greek Orthodox Church. Something like that anyway. Hope you have fun at Stitch in London!

Hello Ava. I would say yes, it’s Aida friendly. All of the charts are full crosses so there’s no reason the design wouldn’t be just as beautiful and easy to stitch on the Aida.
