Although not always necessary for social species, it's common practice for there to be multiple yards of each type (indoor and outdoor) for when animals need to be kept separate for an extended amount of time. For example, red pandas can live harmoniously together in one space full time, UNTIL the female has offspring. For solitary species like red pandas, the female will be at best intolerant of the male, and at worst males will happily destroy their own offspring. Therefore it's very important to have separated yards both indoor and outdoor for animals to be physically separated without compromising their welfare. Most E/AZA care manuals will tell you that outdoor space where possible is better than indoor space, and animals should always be able to choose.
This was such a comforting and satisfying speed build to watch. I can totally understand that it's not really time-efficient to put in so much effort for a video that will probably not get more views than your usual output, but I love videos like these so much. Given that most builds I have seen for their relatives, the giant pandas, have mostly been focused on theming, I'd really love to see what this habitat's realistic counterpart for the giant pandas would look like. But anyway - super excited about the second part of this build!
Wow Rudi, what an amazing build! I love that you took the time to research some of what makes this habitat realistic. And then of course in classic Rudi style, you made it into something beautiful
Love the realism! I've seen on some zoo shows where they will have a training area to get new animals used to keeper commands for getting into crates without stressing, or positioning for vet inspections and vaccinations. This could double and a new animal quarantine section.
Seriously, you're my favourite youtuber dude. In my opinion, you're by far the best on youtube to play this game. Keep it up, you're on your way to 100,000 subs. Greetings from Denmark
LOVE your speedbuilds, they always wanna make me build myself. If you're ever up for anotger big ptoject I'd love to see one inspired by the Gondwana Land in the Leipziger Zoo. One of my fav Zoos most definetly.
You should put something in that IRL would be used to shut the animals in the inside or outside areas so when the keeper is cleaning they would disturb the animals.
This giant Headlight with no support structure still bothers me. Also main habitat gate next to sleeping area needs an airlock from mesh or something that when you're coming in, sneaky ginger bastards are not running out.
Random thought that there should be a sort of “double gate” for the habitat. I wouldn’t think staff walk right into an area the pandas have access to as well.
@@RudiRennkamel btw u`re also playing JWE 2, how it is compared to planet zoo? i found decoration pieces are not that much compared to planet zoo. i was thinking to buy JWE 2 but stopped, i could get bestreviews from you
Another fact that’s useless is with red pandas they need an incline in the habitat as they try to mimic the fact they roll down hills when mating in the wild 😭

Okay, I WILL bring this in. I have a certain idea for that. So thank you SO much for this super important info! :)

It's seriously so much fun to do but yeah the time ratio is just insane haha

This is another level of realism
Thanks :)
When I was a teenager I worked in a zoo. We had red pandas and there enclosure looked pretty much identical to this 😂 nice work

Good point
I love the flying panda species! So amazing! They glide so effortless! ♥♥
This is soooo good Rudi!!!!!

Thank you and greets back :)
Great habitat and thanks for the research info.
Haven’t watched it all yet but I can tell, it’s probably phenomenal!!
Having 2 or more gates for habitat would be a good thing, especially for large mixed animal habitats.
Outstanding. So great. I love it.

Beautiful habitat Rudi!

Yeah some shutters will come in

I'm still bothered by all the weight of the climbing structure only being held up by "suction cups"

It`s basically, Where we stop thinking, where our brain would stop working, your brain starts working :( , thats a great Habitat
Even my brain doesn't know when and how it works

I love your speed builds from planet zoo. it's a pity that they are so rare lately. :(

Next week it's there :)

Do you make it so you put down one stare at a time?
How*
This is the real Kilian Experience
Has Yosemite Valley finished or not?
Nope still ongoing
this what i wanna build in planet zoo, but i just dont have the skill
