Yo escuche un concierto de bergonzi y la verdad cantaba muy bien pero en los agudos su voz cambiada mucho y flaqueaba su voz no se sicuando canto el concierto ya tenia una edad avanzada pero sus agudos no eran buenos

Bravíssimo Maestro Kraus!!!! A mesma quantidade de voz por mais de 40 anos. O Sr Perfeito é um apelido que cabe muito bem à grandeza dessa voz. Lamentavelmente, não existem mais cantores de ópera como Kraus.
Con todo respeto, Bergonzi comparado con Kraus no era nadie. La voz no era bella, bajaba las arias de tono (véase tombe degli avi miei, en UA-cam) y conocía todos los trucos del canto. Kraus era perfecto.
Fausto y Werther sus dos grandes operas. Su Musicalidad, el color y timbre de su voz, el elegante fraseo y su squillantes agudos , sin lugar a dudas es el Gran Maestro.

Con frecuencia podemos leer "el mejor de todos los tiempos". Yo no sé si fue el mejor de todos los tiempos, pero sí sé que me emocionan las interpretaciones de Alfredo Kraus y que además de tener una voz única, interpreta, transmite y llega al alma del espectador como muy pocos han conseguido hacer. Y ahora doy mi opinión, para mi sí ha sido y es el mejor.
En realidad no podemos saber quién fue el mejor, aunque eso va a gustos, porque los que opinan sobre Carusi, por ejemplo, no lo han escuchado nunca en vivo y, en este caso, las grabaciones de Caruso son de muy mala calidad, por lo cual no transmiten lo que la mayoría dice. Por otra parte, se compara mucho a Kraus con Schipa lo cual, con las grabaciones disponibles de Schipa, es aberrante: voz pequeña, no bella (la de Kraus es bella), de corta extensión y sin efecto "campana", que Kraus si tenía. Podría haber sido Gayarre el mejor tenor de la Historia?. No lo sabemos. Por todas esas razones siempre digo: "con la evidencia disponible" y añadiría: proyección de la voz, legato, dicción y extensión. Esas son las cualidades objetivas de un gran tenor. Lo demás es subjetivo.
La técnica del Maestro Kraus es inigualable. Con su técnica logró muchos años cantando, y bien! Cantaba con una facilidad que muchos no pueden lograr. Su técnica debería de ser analizado y estudiado por todos que están estudiando canto. Todos estos grabaciones deberían de ser como una escuela Para todos que están estudiando canto. No nomás estudiar Kraus pero a todos los grandes tenores. Un humilde consejo: por ejemplo, si vas estudiar esta canción tienes que escucharlo con varios cantantes para aprender de todos. I pulled a lot of video, seem that he did ton with Callas, but I do not see they are fit, though picture perfect maybe. @SHICOFF1 Everyone is rushing and busy, be honest, I did not pick up book on Pavarotti till his death, exact that year, read a few books on him. He did a lot of charitable work and spent long weeks at China promoting Italian Opera(china called it American Operatic, and still is, how ironic, but now they do translate most of the time: Western Operatic, but many still use: American Singing and American Opera!!!!)

Are you surprised that how desperate opera house is to still highly promote this cocky guy who was and has never been Gedda, nor Jussi, and had already well past his prime, but looks appealing only. I saw his Romeo at Met live, his voice is "harsh" using sugarbist's word. I would say it is so dry and not round. That was in 2007. Met did fantastic staging, especially the bed scene, hanging both in the top air, almost naked with stars surrounding nothing but a bed with 2 making love... wowed the whole house for that, I also mentioned that I cannot accept that russian soprano's noise congestion, you know who I am talking about. And saw him also on Carmen live, he appeared frequent on the high defi transmission to theatre, at least recently Don Carlo, he was assigned to do Everything!!! But of course, Chicago is a great place and very reputable chinatown with authentic stuff. There are many new places in Flushing NY, LA. But the grandest and oldest place is SanFrancisco CA. The chinese Em prioress Chi Xi saved that location, that was more than hundred years ago when the city was trying to kick out chinese community from that golden location downtown, then she heard of this, was furious and threathen to cut ties and move all chinese back home.... There are so much negative talks on her, yet local chinese still be thankful to her. That chinatown is so organized, so much cleaner than NY's And of course, people remember the first president of china, Sun Yi Xian( Sun Yat-Sen ) who spent a lot of time, campaiging and fund raising to eventually overthrew the Qing Dynasty. He is called Father of China, First chinese to open Eyes to the world... Deeply loved by all chinese, including those in south east china sea and overseas, and Taiwan. Going back to food, maybe the cantonese food be the first to be introduced here, most early immigrants to build the railroad here is from Guandong(canton), next time when going to authentic place, ask for "fish belly soap" good to take out or enjoy right away. I tried to find something english to introduce basic kinds of authentic cooking. One thing for sure that Hunan is not the top listed kind. Though it is well known here.
I've heard stories from people who heard Kraus live, who've said the resonance in his tone could be literally felt in their ears from the back row of the opera house...recordings truly do him no justice. While I personally love Di Stefano's interpretation better (simply because a diminuendo on a tenor 'C' is almost impossible), this is a close second

Bergonzi no puede compararse con Kraus ni en timbre, extensión, legato, o squillo. La diferencia de Bergonzi a Kraus es manifiesta.

@SHICOFF1 Everyone is rushing and busy, be honest, I did not pick up book on Pavarotti till his death, exact that year, read a few books on him. He did a lot of charitable work and spent long weeks at China promoting Italian Opera(china called it American Operatic, and still is, how ironic, but now they do translate most of the time: Western Operatic, but many still use: American Singing and American Opera!!!!)

Met did fantastic staging, especially the bed scene, hanging both in the top air, almost naked with stars surrounding nothing but a bed with 2 making love... wowed the whole house for that, I also mentioned that I cannot accept that russian soprano's noise congestion, you know who I am talking about. @SHICOFF1 I forgot to respond to your mention of so many great things of chinese food. Because I really do not know where to start, such a beautiful and broad topic.
But of course, Chicago is a great place and very reputable chinatown with authentic stuff. There are many new places in Flushing NY, LA. But the grandest and oldest place is SanFrancisco CA. The chinese Em prioress Chi Xi saved that location, that was more than hundred years ago when the city was trying to kick out chinese community from that golden location downtown, then she heard of this, was furious and threathen to cut ties and move all chinese back home.... There are so much negative talks on her, yet local chinese still be thankful to her. That chinatown is so organized, so much cleaner than NY's And of course, people remember the first president of china, Sun Yi Xian( Sun Yat-Sen ) who spent a lot of time, campaiging and fund raising to eventually overthrew the Qing Dynasty. He is called Father of China, First chinese to open Eyes to the world... Deeply loved by all chinese, including those in south east china sea and overseas, and Taiwan. Going back to food, maybe the cantonese food be the first to be introduced here, most early immigrants to build the railroad here is from Guandong(canton), next time when going to authentic place, ask for "fish belly soap" good to take out or enjoy right away. I tried to find something english to introduce basic kinds of authentic cooking. One thing for sure that Hunan is not the top listed kind. Though it is well known here.

I've heard stories from people who heard Kraus live, who've said the resonance in his tone could be literally felt in their ears from the back row of the opera house...recordings truly do him no justice. While I personally love Di Stefano's interpretation better (simply because a diminuendo on a tenor 'C' is almost impossible), this is a close second
Matthew Polenzani's Salut, Demeure Chaste et Pure is remarkable as well. It's not available on UA-cam as far as I know.
