    I had the same reservations about electric air pumps for winging. Until I used a friends pump. That was it for me. I love the fact that I’m not worn out pumping up a wing or two when I could be doing other things. At 70 I can use all the help I can get. Now if I could find something that would carry my gear down to the water for me.

      dude, I'm just so stoked to hear another person is winging at 70. you are an inspiration to me, totally awesome bud. if I'm ever at your beach, you got a kite caddy. don't stop the rock.

    I must say that 4 minutes of strange noise from the electric pump is the reason why I stopped using it after two times. This kind of equipment is very useful for SUP or during an event when you have to pump a lot of kites and wings, but for the normal session I think it is better to use the hand pump. Not having noise before a session is something I definitely prefer. Peace

      I’m with you! Will I be getting rid of my hand pump? No. But this can be convenient in a bunch of situations, and what I’ll use it for the most is getting wings I test up to the exact pressure to be more consistent. But yeah, def loud and I’ve been hyper aware of that when on a beach!

    I’m into ISUP so this review was somewhat relevant and I liked the way it is presented. I’ve been checking around and this pump seems to have one of the larger (claimed) battery capacity which is worth considering if you need to inflate multiple boards.

      sweet, thanks for watching! I don't do a lot of SUPs, mostly wings and the occasional kite. it can easily do 4 wings and possibly more depending on the situation... so I'm still using it from time to time, no issues!

    Thanks Jeremy for the review.
    Electric pump definitely a must for me with inflatable wing boards to save rigging time and have more time in water.
    I can setup the foil, inflate the wing (manually), put the wetsuits on while electric pump inflates the board.
    Mount the foil to the board once inflated and off you go.
    Almost as fast as rigging a rigid board

      awesome! yeah so many things you can do. I had a lot of funny things that were NOT good ways to use your time, I ended up keeping most of those out of the video, lol. I wish you an awesome day!

    I think if you're pumping up a 12m and above every session, you'll be pretty stoked on it.

      I bet! I’m def liking the e-pump more than I thought I would. But I still like the old method too 🤙

    Come on Jeremy. How much did they pay you for this infomercial? I wouldn't use one if you gave it to me for free. The "sport" of wing foiling starts when you get to the beach. Does the manual explain how to properly dispose of the battery?

    • @OCEANBOUND1
      @OCEANBOUND1 10 місяців тому +1

      Well, they did give me one for free 😂👊 different strokes for different folks. I thought of it as an experiment, because like you, I had strong feelings about pumps. I don’t love e-pumps, but I don’t have the same opinion I had coming in either. And sadly, like most things you buy these days, they don’t explain how to properly dispose of the battery 😢. Thanks for the comment bud and I wish you an awesome day!

    Bought one from your review. Tx. Is there a standard connector for duotone - how did you manage with that wing?

      Sweet! I think it’s adaptor 2 that works for duotone. They give you different colored rings that you can put on the connector, I use the blue one. I hope you dig it bud!
