@@rubenbonillasierra here are some notes on playing that ending riff just like the record: -the riff is started with a unison bend -the riff is started with the wah pedal in toe-down position -most of the riff is played toe-down and he brings it up just enough to get a slight wah effect -the fast licks on the e and b which end it are played with a stretch between 10th and 15th fret instead of coming up and hitting the next string (although the notes are correct this way) which gives it a much smoother sound i really like this riff and play it all the time, it taught me to tremolo pick. that's why i'm so invested in it
@@rubenbonillasierra it would be hard to do a cover all in one take getting the end bit right, especially if you're doing full song, but even the solo should be 2 takes. i think the reason a lot of covers don't bother with wah at the end is because it's tough to switch pickups and switch on wah fast enough. using a switchless wah helps

That's unreal! I''ve played on and off guitar for a while now- but been getting into playing alot of Frusciante solos lately. I can play this pretty easily except the part right at the end where that lick is just shredded so fast with heaps of wah. I can play the lick fine just not that fast. Any suggestions on how to pick it faster? Like practising either a metronome or something like that?

The first couple of weeks I started using the DS2 was really hard for me too. Fuzz is a hard effect pedal. My advice is just to keep using it and practicing bro
