I've messed with a bunch of brushes online, yours are easily some of the best I've gotten my pen on. moreover, the video tutorial on your brushes is money. so many people release brushes without showing what their purpose was when they were made. this really helps them not become fodder in an endless collection of digital brushes.

I got these brushes from your channel couple months ago and didn't had much idea on how to use most of them. I think I only used the artbrush for lineart and kept the rest untouched. So thank you for posting this :) And I do agree on your opinion about foliage brushes looking too unnatural. I try to avoid those "bunch of grass" or "flock of birds" brushes because of their perfect look. I always felt like they are something more fit for a graphic design rather than a drawing. That's just how I feel though! I'm not trying to discourage anyone from using them 😅
Agree 100% (also about the part about not discouraging those who enjoy those brushes). I find that foliage (and other things like hair) is best treated with a bit of an impressionistic touch. I'm glad the brushes (and the video) have been helpful!
That is actually a weird thing that is happening with my screen capture software (Camtasia). It's not something I'm seeing while making the recording so it's a bit of a glitch (but kind of cool actually)
I never did find the brushes but instead had to go through a process joining Discord, answering lots of questions, finally giving up trying to find your brushes (after having to watch another video), and then having to Google "How do I delete my Discord account" and going through another process. hey Fowler how do I make my brush curser like yours with the curser being larger than the actual brush stroke. my brush curser is the same size as the stroke but I want it to be like yours. as you can see clearly at 1:58 in the video.
That's the strangest thing - it seems to be an artifact of my screen capture program Camtasia. I actually don't see that when I am doing the painting - I only see it after the recording. I don't know if Photoshop can actually do that natively.
Good morning, I have a question for you, your technique is spectacular for painting, but something happens... when I select the object that I am going to paint and then I paint it, when I remove the selection, what I painted has all the jagged edge... because it happens this? and then I always have to use the blur tool to blur the entire edge silhouette of the character. How do I solve this?
I would try a couple of things. First of all, the document may simply need more resolution (those jagged edges could be pixelation resulting from small dimensions). If that is not the case, then definitely check the "anti-aliasing" box on the top menu when you are using the selection tools. This smoothes jagged edges and might be the perfect fix. If neither of those will solve it, let me know and we can troubleshoot. I love a good Photoshop mystery :) Good luck!
I suppose I should increase the size of the document as well as the amount of ppi resolution for the document because I already had the antialiasing option checked. but even if I make the image at super resolution, when I zoom in, to add details to the drawing I see those jagged edges... what catches my attention is that all the drawings that you have made, none of them have a cut edge... all the edges are perfect... it's strange... I greatly appreciate that you have written to me to give me help.
