Great to see SLAC putting out educational videos. What I don't follow is why cryo EM would be useful (vs other EM techniques) for the full cell and lithium ion dendrite applications. With proteins you can have an array of identical molecules in different positions and reconstruct the protein from many images of the same thing at different angles. Not so with the other applications, I would guess.
If someone has such opportunity, certainly many projects dealing with dynamics and molecular structures: kinetics of molecular reactions, initiation of structural defect, Photosynthesis, kinetics of Hemoglobin...
