Not only is Tommy an amazing singer, guitarist etc, his hair is so luxurious! I'm so jealous! 😄 His singing voice is beyond words. He can sing anything and everything 💗

Oh wow, his speaking voice is much different to his singing voice. A helluva lot deeper than I was expecting. He's also incredibly well spoken as well. Yeah, I'm a die hard fan, an epic entertainer.

Tommy is only in northern Sweden they are called palt in the rest of Sweden we say kroppkakor and we have fried onions in them too, the holy trinity of pork, potato and onion, yummy! And of course we eat them with butter and lingonberry jam.
Interesting! We have similar regional variations in the UK over what to call a baked bread roll. There must be 40 different names!
Kroppkakor and palt are not the same thing. Kroppkakor is made on boiled potatoes, palt on raw potatoes, which makes a very big difference in texture. Palt is more hard core, like the people in the north
I calk it Palt too. Parents from Northern Sweden. Grew up with Palt and still love it 🌹

Great interview. I used to belive that Tommy can do everything! Bummer: he is clearly a very poor whistler... But he is still my superstar!
I saw the comment about his inability to whistle some years ago in, I think, one of Sabaton's "tour diary" videos. I have been waiting _years_ to use it in an interview!

So, how does he balance between Sabaton tours and other performances, Majestica, and his weekly song covers on youtube? He is quite the busy guy. Personally I would love to hear a cover of "The final countdown".
He kind of glossed over that in one of the answers. He blasts through a load of cover videos in one go when he's at home, and the last large Majestica project was done during Lockdown.

Guy behind the camera? Or the guy doing the interview (which is me!). There was nobody behind the camera, it was on a tripod :)

Some kind advice: I would alter your sound settings, because having a mic but barely hearing you is really a waste of a lot of money.
So, what was that food? Some Swedish kind of a pastry or something?
Palt is made with potatoes, flour, salt and pork. You can see him make it here on UA-cam. Search for Tommy J how to make palt.

His video on how to make palt is really good! First, he gives the history of palt. Then he shows how to make it, and later also re-heat it in a frying pan instead of a microwave. He made the video to celebrate the new Sabaton album, The War to End All Wars.
