There's a great scene in season 1 where Frank's sister and kids are lead into this room that looks so unsuspecting but she notices everything is covered in plastic and there are vents in the ceiling to let gas in. It's so freaking chilling.
Thank you, I was lowkey waiting for this! This show is so underrated. Now knowing the DoP's point of view makes me appreciate it even more. Keep up the good work.
I knew something was really unique and wonderful about the cinematography, but I often can't point my finger on it. Aside from the unusal low angle shots, I noticed in some scenes you can see one of two actors only in a reflection, and in many scenes you have this good/evil lighting, where half of the face is lit and the other is in shadow and I really love that (those are the two things I learned to spot in art class ;D ), because it's so true to the story. There are hardly any morally black or white characters in this show. Everyone kinda moves on a grey spectrum, which is really refreshing.
This is got to be the #1 most under rated show out. Great story great acting and great cinematography. Everytime i ask someone if they seen it 9/10 the answer is no. WHY!!!!
